I want to ask who ever made this if they were high on crack. I really do. This is like eating bad Chinese food when you high or drunker than a skunk. I can see why someone would read this just for the sheer craziness, but who was like we need to adapt this into a anime. This was hands down one of the worst animes have ever watched. You know something, folks? I love doing this like I do with my job in real life, that I've been with for around six years, as of this day. With anime, I've been with it since I was a wee lad in the 90s. I dropped out of anime a couple of times down the road, but I always love it for the storytelling, the characters, the art style, and how the voice acting delivers. Just as long as it appeals to me. This anime has no character development, poor storytelling, fairly low quality animation, and almost no depth whatsoever. The only redeeming factors are the fact that it actually has a plot and it is... unique to say the least.
The main point of it is conception and with that being said it it perverted. So much so that it's unbearable. It constantly throws this perversion in your face at almost all moments and it's annoying. I enjoy a bit of fan service as much as the next guy but this it too much. It's watchable I guess but definitely not good.

This show is overhated, this is no more degenerate than something like Shield hero. Go into looking for some laughs and it is worthwhille.
The plot is dumb for the most part but it makes up for it with the pacing. The last episode is the only boring one. Most of the characters are entertaining and there are none that are awful, Animation is fine, except for some of the fights but they are done quickly.
Some jokes are quite funny, other times the show is so bad that it's hilarious. Embrace the cringe the way Eminence in shadow does.

15 minutes in, the MC is assigned 12 maidens each representing a star sign.
And one of the MC's job is to impregnate them in order to make star children.
And of course the first one he has to make babies with is his cousin.
And this is just the first episode.
Conception is a dumb anime. With dumb characters. And a dumb plot.

This show is one that makes you question why it even exists and why the hell you are watching it at all. This show is very much an obvious parody of harem anime. With its rushed nature, absurd plots, and cringe everything. This show makes your stomach turn. That being said it is for sure not meant to be taken seriously. Many jokes did land with me near the end of the show but I will admit that subjecting myself to this was one of the worst things I have ever done. I understand it's existence. Conception is, plain and simple, an over-the-top and absurd parody of harem fiction. It nearly never treats itself seriously and simply does not function if you're looking for ecchi, romance or even traditional comedy. I watched this show in 2020 and no hate if you like this show. But for me, I must admit this is honestly still the worst show I have watched completely thus far. Once I was finished with it, I ended up feeling bad I hadn't just dropped it. Guess my drive to watch isekai's at the time kept me wanting to see it through. But in all honesty, for me, this was so bad, watching it made everything feel dull immediately after. Like when you feel extremely bored, and can do nothing about it because everything seems tasteles.
But if you are wondering if you should give this a shot, I wouldn't, but then again, not everyone has the same tastes as me, and I wont judge you even if your opinions differ from mine.

It feels like this creator went out of his way to make the most cringe and worst show possible. They could have at least made a plot or at least any action at all. The only reason to watch this show is if you are horny, which even so watch something else because its just terrible. The main character woke up tied up and is acting perfectly fine. Keep in mind he is half naked. Don't get me started on mana everytime she spoke after the 4th episode I just pressed fast foward. The most generic art style possible as well. I especially liked the deconstruction of humor and genre.
You never know what to expect until the crossover with Gurren Lagan and Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Everything from the start to the finish is great. At first the anime try to trick you into thinking it's some lewd fantasy and then it become clear right at the end of ep 1 that this won't be the case.
Rather than that, the story is a commentary about the very notion of purity, it makes us rethink about the way we think about men's relationships with women. However, to my surprise, this anime is not about feminism, no, it doesn't get political in any way and manage to keep its purity right until the end.

Absolutely the "best" anime I've ever seen. I mean, with a plot that generic and "quirky", how could I not love it? (spoilers, this is sarcasm.) The anime legitimately opens with a girl saying she's pregnant, then isekai happens and they're in a new world in which they have to do the sex to make babies and fight evil. I know it's based on a game with the same plot, but even then the animation is akin to an art major reject's first and final piece. Even the "soundtrack" is abysmal when compared with almost any other anime released in 2018. Please, do not watch this if you value your life and don't want to kermit die.

i don´t even know how to describe it, it was just awful.. that whole "brother & sister (or cousin)" thing was weird, the whole "you have to fxx all of them in order to save the world" was even weirder .. you get the point... I hope. The girls were cute tho, it´s just the plot that bugs me off.

3. Like the opening? Find that song on your music app/download it and add it to your playlist.

Conception is, quite frankly, an anime that should not exist. From what I understand, it's based on an eroge game, and the anime makes sure you understand that, with the mascot character (an extremely perverted tanuki) often breaking the fourth wall and telling the audience to visit the game's website for details about things that never get explained in the anime.
Conception is supposed to be a harem anime in which your typical bland male protagonist seduces twelve women (actually thirteen, but that doesn't happen until close to the very end) in order to create "star children", little chibis that are supposed to help the protagonist clear the twelve labyrinths, which are filled with creatures called Impurities.

I watched the first episode when it was airing and consequently dropped it. I kinda regret doing that, because this show has some unexpectedly fun parts in it.
It's on the verge of being a good show for me, it has a lot of funny meta humor and likable character interactions.
The worst part of the show is the low-quality-feel that it has, and sadly I don't think people overcame that part and just dropped it.
