Introduction

For centuries, the Demon Slayer Corps has sacredly kept the location of Swordsmith Village a secret. As the village of the greatest forgers, it provides Demon Slayers with the finest weapons, which allow them to fight night-crawling fiends and ensure the safety of humans. After his sword was chipped and deemed useless, Tanjirou Kamado, along with his precious little sister Nezuko, is escorted to the village to receive a new one. Meanwhile, the death of an Upper Rank Demon disturbs the idle order in the demon world. As Tanjirou becomes acquainted with Mist Hashira Muichirou Tokitou and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, ferocious powers creep from the shadows and threaten to shatter the Demon Slayers' greatest line of defense. Reviewing "Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen" or "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc", I could repeat a lot of stuff from the reviews of the previous seasons, so I'll try to keep this one short in an effort not to repeat myself. This season keeps up the tone established in the previous seasons, where a lot of jokes are mixed with action and, in this case, A LOT of backstories, giving all the important characters reasons for their actions. I couldn't help but notice how this season also feels a lot less action-heavy, focusing more on character development and emotional moments. Don't get me wrong, there are still battles spanning numerous episodes and moments you will replay because of how incredibly cool they are, but this time there's not that much strategic out…

Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc is another arc that proves why Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of my favorite series. By this point, I was already completely invested in both the anime and manga, so seeing these moments brought to life with ufotable's animation was an incredible experience. I really enjoyed getting to know Muichiro and Mitsuri better. They are two very different characters, but both bring something special to the story. Muichiro's development and backstory were particularly emotional, while Mitsuri's presence brought a completely different energy to the arc. She is such a fun and lovable character, but seeing her strength when it truly matters makes her even more amazing. The fights in this arc are absolutely spectacular. Seeing multiple Upper Moons in action again really rem…

This season of demon slayer takes everything that had improved in season 2 and throws it out the window. The main antagonist is incredibly bland, which isnt rare for demon slayer really. But more importantly is just how boring he is. The intimidation and utter defeat that you felt nearing the end of season 2 is nowhere to be seen here. You know for a fact they are going to win without any consequences, as characters get hit with supersonic blasts that utterly destroy them, just for a flashback to bring them to 120% potential, and not in an exciting way. Though for some reason the final episode consistently makes me cry, the music is fantastic.

Alright, got to say that this was a step down from the last season. There are two new additions, Mitsuri and Muichiro. And to be honest they’re both one note, Mitsuri looks like she is there purely for the unnecessary fan service to be honest. They do try with Muichiro but overall comes off a little one note with not to much depth. The story is still mediocre to me and doesn’t improve too much. Something I really enjoyed from the last season was the demons and how they posed a threat and were interesting, I can’t say the same for the two new demons, Gyokko and Hantengu. Both of these demons are pretty boring and one doesn’t really hold that intimidation factor maybe because he’s the size of my finger most of the time. For the first time since I’ve been watching this anime, I also have…

Swordsmith Village Arc from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is undoubtedly among my favorite arcs within the entire series. Right from the first episode, it provides amazing animation and scenery, as well as fights that continually make me appreciate why this anime franchise is so highly regarded. It is nice that the characters which haven't got enough exposure previously get their chance to shine. They add an entirely new dynamic to the series. The growth of the characters, their motivations, and unique personalities make the plot quite intriguing and fascinating. The animations provided by ufotable are impressive indeed. There are stunning visual effects in all the battles which are shown with perfect choreography and great colors. Each of them looks like a masterpiece. Apart from the…

Tokito Muichirou is a true GOAT ✋😐🤚 Kimetsu no Yaiba arrives in its third season maintaining something that has become a franchise standard: transforming desperate battles into absurd visual spectacles. The Blacksmith Village arc may not have the same immediate emotional impact as the Entertainment District arc for some people, but it compensates for this by expanding the universe, deepening important characters, and showing that the war against the Upper Moons is becoming increasingly brutal. Here we follow the attack of Upper Moons 4 and 5, Hantengu and Gyokko, on the Blacksmith Village, an extremely important location for the Demon Slayers, since it is where Nichirin swords are produced. The simple fact that this place is attacked greatly increases the feeling of danger. For the fir…

"The Flashback Village Arc" That summarizes the core issue of this season. If Entertainment District Arc's way of breaking the flow of a fight was an asspull with zero payoff, this season's way of breaking it is either multiple flashbacks or a single flashback that takes up almost the entire length of an episode. While ufotable likely follows the source material pretty strictly, it is still the responsibility of the adaptor to make thing suitable for the medium they're adapting to. Flashbacks can work really well in manga but in anime, there is a limit at which point they start to break the flow of things too much. And this season shows that limit. The same logic can also be extended to monologues. They aren't as big of an issue and it likely is only amplified because it has been happeni…

An anime that I avoided for a very long time. I knew it existed, I even knew most of the things from there and I really didn't understand why it had such a hype. The main problem for me was that it was absolutely everywhere = spoilers, and that my friend was constantly talking about it in connection with her ex (I hated her ex and I felt sorry that it was connected to her, because it's from my sister's fav anime and she kept trying to convince me to watch it. Unsuccessfully...). Anyway, this year my sister started talking about the Demon Slayer movie, that she wanted to go see it with me, to which I told her why not, it's an anime (I love them), but that I wouldn't know anything about it, so she simply summarized it for me. Last week, however, I thought I could at least watch the first epi…

More than anything, it's Tanjiro's throat that should have had irreparable damage since the beginning. Only now have I realized how much noise his voice lines and direction create in an ear-grating manner. Suspense is forcibly built up by tense speeches, and with the magnificent action and beautiful soundtrack running alongside it, Tanjiro's over-the-top voice becomes a thick layer of hindrance to reaching great levels of enjoyment. About the story, well yeah, it's as straightforward as it gets, as it has to be. No qualms nor praises about it. Except Nezuko's bit at the end there, it was done pretty well. It's a high quality of visual and auditory sentimental fishing.

Got bored until the last arc [Hashira Training Arc] and dropped it on episode 2 and couldn't continue. The only thing I'll give credit to Demon Slayer itself, its is quality in animation and production. But the story itself is mediocre at best. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The characters are just boring. Even most of the character designs are wayy over the top. I don't know, I enjoyed the last movie, since Its been a while since I watched it. I would recommend watching a few episodes and decide if you would like to continue the story. Otherwise, wouldn't recommend it. Mixed about this one!

This season of Demon Slayer is absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed every single episode! The characters work great here again, the story building is good, interesting flashbacks, incredibly incredibly UNREALLY great music (both in the intro and outro), the animation is once again absolutely perfect and truly one of the best I've ever seen, especially here we get epic fights that look breathtaking and each episode flies by like water. Compared to previous series, I would also highlight the "sweatshop" scenes, which are not bad in Demon Slayer, but never really appealed to me, however, there are several such scenes in this season that I enjoyed quite a bit and I still remember them. Otherwise, I would really like to highlight the characters Tanjiro, Nezuko, Genyo, Tokita and Mitsuri, who…

This a step back from the previous season. Still the same issues of the previous arcs: An excessive amount of weak and immature personalities, even coming from the physically strongest characters. So many overdramatic characters altogether turning scenes into something cringy instead of epic. Everyone crying, everyone shouting. I had never seen that many plot armours and random power ups in such a tiny season. The season does have it's cool and heartwarming moments, but it's frustrating to see how the poor character writing can destroy the mood. It's unbelievable how characters with such a great design can come along with disappointing personalities. As for the animation, it was very inconsistent. Some beautifully executed scenes, but also, an awful CGI at certain moments.

Finally, the best ending and final season ever. One day, it was done. I remember when I watched it in 2023, it was one of the best seasons of that year. I'm here today to comment on it properly and concisely. The (Swordsmith Village) arc introduced us to the new Moons 4 and 5, and we learned about Muzan's own past. The pasts of all the characters Mitsuri, Mochiru, Genina, and his Hashira brother are also wonderful characters, and the concept and story of the Blacksmith Village were well-crafted and extremely enjoyable. The drawing and production were of a very high standard. I can't do justice to the enjoyment of these 11 episodes in words. And Nezuko and his ability to withstand the sun, and that scene I will never forget as long as I live. 10/10 for this season, and I'm excit…

- German translation below - Story/Pace 20% 6/10 As with the second and third seasons, this is just a single arc. The problem with this is that it eventually feels too repetitive. While the second season shone with its strong emotions and the third season with the best fights to date, the fourth season couldn't really convince anywhere. The story hardly makes any progress and the pacing is really bad. In almost every fight, there are flashbacks to the past of the individual characters during the particularly exciting moments, which leads to the tension in the fights decreasing significantly. It is also almost always possible to predict a fight. Animation 30 % 8/10 The animations are once again very good, but this season no longer offers particularly breathtaking fights as in season 2 o…

This season is a little bit boring than the others. Reasons? It's really getting boring when they keep showing you flashbacks of the character, and when character's story is not interesting it's really painful to watch it. Except Genya, his story was interesting but Muichiro, demons and Kanroji... meh. Fights were also boring, five second of action and five minute of talking during the fightings, not the mention that demons who were expected to be stronger than Gyutaro (UPR 6) were actually weak and there was almost no action in both fights. Animations were not good as previous seasons. It feels like the rushed too much in this season, The last episode actually carried the entire season. Overall Well, after all Demon Slayer is a great show. It's of course above the avarage so ou…

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc Please understand me, I like Demon Slayer. No matter how clichéd, stupid, and embarrassing the anime can be, I like it for that very simplicity. And the naturally shockingly good animations are just the cherry on top of the already appetising cake. It has to be said anyway, this season was just bad, there's nothing more to say. The pacing was sluggish, practically nothing happened. The whole season was just one big training arc with an Indian film at the end. Nothing happened in the whole season except screentime for irrelevant side characters that can't have any meaning in the upcoming season, and development for the water Hashira. They should have either squeezed the season into 2 episodes…

The animation continues to be one of the series' high points, with incredibly detailed and fluid combat scenes, maintaining the high standard that fans have come to expect. The new plot introduces new characters, including blacksmiths and powerful demons, and deepens the development of the protagonists. The plot progresses with intense and exciting battles, as well as exploring more about the history of demon hunters and the origins of the swords used in the fight against dark forces. The direction and soundtrack are also notable, contributing to the epic and immersive atmosphere of the arc. . A animação continua sendo um dos pontos altos da série, com cenas de combate incrivelmente detalhadas e fluidas, mantendo o alto padrão que os fãs esperam. A nova trama apresenta novos personagens, i…

Weirdly the Peak of Demon Slayer For me but at the same time the ending was a letdown. Art - 10/10 The Design of the Villains this season is by far the best, the action is pretty cant complain. Characters - 9/10 Best cast of Hashira's and best villains of the show imo Story - 7/10 SOO GENERIC and quite stale, the story is almost non existent. OST/Sound Design - 8/10 OP is fire again, VA and ost a good. Enjoyment - 8/10 Better than the other seasons the best so far, not better to be a whole point different The season gets going instantly and keeps up for the season, Just gets stale being in the same location for 11 episodes at once. Overall 8/10 My Favourite season!!!

The greatest thing about Demon Slayer is that it is while watching one of the best entertainment and just action in general it just feels so on that top up things with the looks and the action and the characters it just doesn't let down in the pacing. It is wonderful the moment you're watching it. The main character is a Golden Retriever in anime form and is so lovable the cast is just so nice and so well characterized. It's just a wonderful cast of characters to see destroy horrible demons. Animation and framing is so good. It is impossible to look away. It has the colors and the movement and the animation skill to make it one of the best looking shows when it is out every year. And the blacksmith arc has some good characters and we see some new characters. It has some problems. I am b…

If I hadn't seen it until the last episode, I'd give it a 7-8, but what a shitty story about Muzan, but anyway The entire Arc is shown in a beautiful way, despite not having as strong an addition to the story as other seasons, a little more of the world is shown, and the way it is done, with Tanjiro giving value to blacksmiths, with the Do we see two more Hashiras together, an extremely strong enemy, a kind of half-demon? It's all done in a really cool and dynamic way, the story lacks a bit of relevance, because like, we're in the middle of a fight and it shows character flashbacks that are cool to see, but we don't care about it at the time, like, just fight, and the Hashira of Love story, seriously, that's bullshit 'who would marry you, look at the color of your hair' NOBODY CARES ABOUT…
