Excellent improvement in terms of the story compared to Season 1! (I won't repeat the same points from my previous review, but the series still has that humor that borders on second-hand embarrassment — which I absolutely love — and continues to have ridiculous situations that aren't meant to be taken seriously! Honestly, I think all the things I praised in my first review only get better in Season 2!)
Focusing only on Season 2, I can already give this one a “recommended”, since if you're here, you've already watched the first season. And, WITHOUT A DOUBT, this season develops the characters' relationship much further. The story moves away a little from that feeling of being “a bunch of comedy skits put together” and becomes something more structured. Each episode does a great jo…

Felt like Girlfriend, Girlfriend all over again, lol.
If you guys didn't know, when I was diving into "G, G", I speedrun that series from the anime to the manga. I'm doing that right now with Nagatoro. Don't know if I want speedrun the manga, though. I still have other anime that I want to watch and manga to read. I might want to dedicate my time later to reading this one.
Anyway;
(Like always, it will be shorter because some of them are the same; I don't need to repeat what I needed to say from my first season's review.)
Platform
Anione, Aniplus TV (South Korea), Crunchyroll, and Laftel (South Korea).

I AM VERY GLAD AND HAPPY.
I was complaining in season one about the friends of the main cast. They finally make an appearance in this season.
I am also very happy…

For a successor season to the first season of "Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san" it does follow up, although it is not so fast since much of what we enjoyed from the first season has already been establish but still it is a successor and how much more it adds to the character interactions between Nagatoro and her cronies and our protagonist. There are some new... surprising characters which are added to the mix of this batch of characters
There are well... placed in setting where you might expect the protagonist to once again be ostracizingly teased and pushed back and forth which is still the same trope from the first season we saw every single episode, but nothing out of the ordinary or really new.
Despite that, it still adequetely follows up the first season without lack of flavour or remova…

S2 gives a bit more background on nagatoro. we already knew she was into physical fitness but this time we get to see that side of her in more detail. It’s still surface level nothing particularly deep or memorable but at least it adds a small new layer to her character.
the interactions between her and senpai remain fun to watch. their chemistry is as playful as ever and there are some sweet moments. however, the animation feels somewhat lifeless at times, which takes away the energy.
Overall this season had its moments but it doesn’t really push the show forward in any meaningful way.

tl;dr: A sequel season that’s still pretty good but is somewhat losing its charm.
The second season of Nagatoro picks up where the first left off. Nagatoro still teases Senpai, but its not that serious and it’s never to the degree that he really seems to mind. To be honest, it all feels really casual and kind of like background noise. What is being focused on instead this time is better fleshing out Nagatoro, Senpai’s character development, and actual proper relationship development between the two.
Fleshing out Nagatoro was decent, but not particularly engaging. We see a bit of her older sister, who’s amusing in how similar she can be to Nagatoro, but beyond that there isn’t much more to her in what little of her we see. We also get background and somewhat of a character arc for Nagator…

I feel bad for the people who stopped watching after the beginning of Season 1. While at first glance this show is about a slow burn teasing romance between Nagatoro and Naoto, the show actually proves to move beyond this to demonstrate what a healthy relationship looks like. Yes, I'm not joking. To name a few ways in which this is done off the rip: (1) the two of them push each other to be better people and work on their weaknesses, (2) they support each other in their passions, (3) they show that they are capable of teasing each other and being lighthearted without pushing each other's boundaries, (4) and when these boundaries are pushed unintentionally, the character who does this (usually Nagatoro) acknowledges this and does better in the future.
One more thing worth mentioning is th…

The second season picks up where the first left off, with Nagatoro and Senpai's relationship blossoming into something more. What I love about this series is how it masterfully balances humor and heart. The characters are all so lovably quirky, and their interactions had me laughing out loud one moment and swooning the next.
Nagatoro's teasing is still as sharp as ever, but we see more of her vulnerable side this season, which added depth to her character. And Senpai... poor, sweet Senpai - his reactions are still priceless, but he's growing into his own, and it's wonderful to see.
The supporting cast is equally impressive, with each character bringing their own brand of humor and charm to the table. The animation is vibrant and expressive, perfectly capturing the emotions and energy of…

This anime needs no introduction The second season The exact same way as the first one, which is good good if its not broke don’t fix it they only addition is a new character joining the art club. Which is nice
The teasing and romance is the same as the end of season 1 With some slight development, which is really good which has made it enjoyable for me
Not really much to say here as all my details were on season 1 review but Basically, expect the same as season one But more stories And if that’s what you liked, then you are in luck
It was good

Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san 2nd Attac" continues to charm audiences with its playful banter, heartfelt moments, and the endearing growth of its characters. As a viewer captivated by the dynamic between Nagatoro and Senpai, I found the second season to be a delightful continuation of their evolving relationship.
The series delves deeper into the complexities of Nagatoro and Senpai's bond, exploring themes of friendship, self-discovery, and the nuances of adolescent emotions with sincerity and humor. The spirited banter and teasing that define their interactions remain a highlight of the show, offering lighthearted moments of comedy and camaraderie.
One of the strengths of the anime lies in its character development. Nagatoro and Senpai undergo significant growth throughout the season, as the…

"Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san" is a surprising anime to me because, firstly, I never though I'd watch it, as I thought the premisse was very unappealing (mainly due to what everyone knows, the bullying part) and secondly because when I started it, I planned on quitting because I wasn't enjoying it very much. And what surprised me was that I actually ended up loving the show and the second season was very good. So I will make a recap of my "Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san" watching "journey":
- The teasing in the first 3/4 episodes was kinda uncomfortable, I have to admit; honestly, the jokes Nagatoro made about Senpai weren't deeply hurtful, they were stupid, but I wouldn't say they were normally reason enough for a person to cry, but, as he did cry, it would be normal for her to assume that…

An acceptable sequel to a brilliant first season, this follow-up sees a decline in some areas yet remains engaging. It's recommended for those new to the manga, non-manga readers, or fans eager to see the story animated. Despite not matching the quality of Season 1 or the manga, it's a worthwhile watch, rating a 6/10.
The season felt like a downgrade from the first. The animation often appeared static and cheap. A favorite manga gag, Eldrich-toro/Noodle-toro, didn't translate well on screen. While some scenes were visually appealing, the pacing and delivery of humor struggled to capture the manga's charm. Anticipating a quality akin to Season 1, this season's shortcomings were pronounced, particularly in its inferior comedic and dramatic impacts.
Season 1 excelled in adapting the sourc…

The second season of "Nagatoro" is both similar and different from the first. Senpai and Nagatoro change - accordingly, their relationship and the tone of the anime itself change. The "freaky" romcom is gradually turning into a "family romance". The flirtation of falling in love, with its endless fun and ease, cannot last forever - falling in love will either develop into something more, gradually fading away and giving way to true love, or, contrary to its nature, it will survive, mutating into something disgusting, mercilessly binding two tormentors who will take without giving, be jealous, suspicious, annoyed, fight for dominance and enjoy inflicting pain and humiliation on each other. Fortunately, in the case of our heroes, falling in love gradually dies, freeing the hearts of Nagatoro…

The previous season bothered how the girl (Nagatoro) treated the boy (senpai) since instead of seeming like love it seemed like a toxic relationship of friends with bullying, but here they change and begin to show the love between the two protagonists, not only because it is seen that they really do love each other but because they are already beginning to show that they appreciate each other.
That if, with the above said, it does not mean that the series is made overnight into a good series, it still has its deficiencies, which is that they do not innovate at all in the genre of adolescent love and it can become a series of lots of love that I hope will not be the case in subsequent seasons, where the characters do not say anything until the end of the season, as it is in this ca…

Nagatoro is a sensational anime series that has taken the anime community by storm, captivating viewers with its unique blend of comedy, romance, and character development. From its exceptional animation quality to its engaging storyline, Nagatoro deserves every bit of its perfect 10/10 rating. Here's why:
First and foremost, the character development in Nagatoro is nothing short of outstanding. The show takes its time to delve deep into the personalities and backgrounds of each character, allowing us to witness their growth and transformation throughout the series. Nagatoro herself, the titular character, evolves from a seemingly sadistic bully to a complex individual with her own insecurities and vulnerabilities. The gradual unveiling of her layers adds depth and authenticity to her cha…

"Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san 2nd Attack" follows the story of the first season with new events and characters in the life of the duo "Naoto Hachiouji" and "Hayase Nagatoro". Little by little the romance intensifies and Senpai becomes stronger psychologically and Nagatoro is clearly romantically interested in Paisen. Characters like the club president (Sana Sunomiya) and her younger sister Hana Sunomiya are highlighted in the plot, being extremely funny. In addition to encouraging the romance of the protagonists.
The story gets funnier and Nagatoro's actions cuter. The animation continues in the same way, beautiful to look at. The characters are fun and the cast additions are great.
In summary, "Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san 2nd Attack" is still fun and fun to follow. I recommend it to anyone wh…

This 2nd season is more or less the same as the first season- kind of. We obviously follow the relationship of Senpai and Nagatoro as their affection for each other progresses. It's kind of the same as the first season for the most part- Senpai is awkward, shy, and weak. Nagatoro playfully teases him, although she herself does have strong feelings for him. It works very well in the first season- so how does it work this 2nd season? Honestly- it's OKAY, but I wanted more. Because the first season established their relationship to be so strong, I was hoping for more between the two this season. I mean we do get it, but they wait until the very last couple of episodes, and even then it's not entirely fulfilling.
That said, watching the two together for me is always a joy, which is I still re…

A great continuation to a romcom I thought I would hate, but ended up really enjoying. Something this show does especially well is perfecting balancing not changing the characters so much that they feel unrecognizable from where they started and having them grow and subtly change in believable ways. Senpai is still nervous and shy, but he is able to build up confidence and act boldly and out of his comfort zone for something he really cares about. Nagatoro still teases Senpai a lot, but she also has genuinely cute and sweet moments and the teasing is mostly lighthearted. The show doesn't attempt to make a joke out of everything, which is something that could be really frustrating as a viewer, but also doesn't take itself super seriously unlike something like Rent-a-Girlfriend which suffers…

Nagatoro really got the rizz in her.
One of my favorite romcoms return, and like other romcom sequels, the romance escalated and I was all for it. Like the title suggested, Nagatoro always attacked Paisen, but always with a plan.
In this season, Nagatoro always teased of course, but the activities her and Paisen spent together were a lot more intimate. There were many cute and spicy moments that I adored, and kinda reminded me of season 2 of Komi. I loved how Nagatoro is kinda similar to Paisen in that she’s also a shy girl herself, and those moments were pretty cute. I sometimes got annoyed at Paisen for being such a puss even though the signals were showering at him, but this time he found courage and I was proud of him for that. I was internally screaming in joy after the last moment…

Pacing was a little slower, characters a little better, and the story supported the characters a little more too. In terms of fluidity nothing changed, however there were less shots that were given more detail. Voice acting was about the same, the soundtrack got a couple of pretty good intrumental tracks that were good though. Overall season 2 is slightly better than season 1 due to the characters having a relationship to support the strange dynamic, also the dynamic evolved slightly into a little more back and forth. It got cuter for sure, the romance picked up more and the dynamic is less of a yikes. 6.85/10

I had a psychotic break down in front of my computer when I was overwhelmed by rage as I realized how appalling this god forsaken show is at the end of episode twelve. I ask myself how I got through it, how I got through those 12 eps. The show has terrible humor broken up by segments of Nagatoro toying with this goofy ass mfer, and that was so dry and slow and awful to listen to that the best characters of the show were the side characters. screw this show but Gamon or whatever her name is is best girl. I pray Ijiranaide, achieves a hasty production schedule for season three as I cannot wait.
