The opening and ending themes are absolute bangers. Ten billion percent. They are a chemical masterpiece that altered my brain chemistry permanently. I physically could not skip them; my hand simply refused to execute the command.
However, looking at the actual narrative progression after Season 1... man, the law of diminishing returns hit hard.
Season 1 was pure, unadulterated, legendary gold. It was a beautiful, slow burn of pure intellect. But lately? The show has lost its magnificent luster. Where are the 45-minute deep dives into making cell phones from scratch? Where are the overly detailed blueprints that make me feel like an accidental engineer?
Instead, the plot is moving at the speed of light. Chrome probably sneezes and suddenly they’ve built a nuclear reactor off-screen. The…

This franchise is something else. Let me start with that. It's not even like it didn't continue it's flow from season one either. Dr. Stone: Stone Wars focuses on the preparation phase for the big brawl and if I said I was prepared for how the season ended I would have a nose as big as Pinocchio.
This season certainly moved at a much faster pace then the first but all the goods were still present. There was no lack of intelligence to be seen in this season. Although to be fair if that went away it wouldn't be what it is. The situational comedy is also still very present even if things are a little more sped up the season because time is working against the nation if science.
I enjoyed watching the makeshift nation of science come together for a lack of a better word this season and not j…

great. I would have liked it more if the action animation was more fluid. While the hand drawn animation was mediocre I am grateful the it wasn't plagued with ugly CGI. Where the show shines is the science aspect of the show. The story is good but I think for all those who paid attention in your chemistry class you are going to love him talking about talking about science and chemical reaction. There are no ingredients that he can buy from a shop for his experiments. He has to make everything from scratch in this post apocalyptic world. That means from soil, plants and rocks. The show has a good antagonist, someone who wants to destroy science because science will be used to create weapons.
I recommend it to all science enthusiasts. Looking forward to the next season. Looks promising.

Dr. Stone: Stone Wars continues the brilliance of the first season with a unique and well-crafted story. The arc is intense and clever, with plenty of inventive strategies and science-based action. The art style and animation fit the adventurous and inventive tone perfectly, making every plan and battle visually engaging. The new characters introduced are well-integrated, adding depth and interesting dynamics to the main cast. All characters are well-rounded, with realistic strengths, flaws, and reactions to the challenges they face. The opening, as usual, is energetic and matches the tone of the series. Fans of shonen, adventure, and clever storytelling will likely love this season, even if they don’t usually watch anime.

Dr. Stone is back and it just keeps going strong. I said about the first season that it's one of those rare gems where there's nothing to complain about and it seems this is how the whole series is shaping up to be. Music to my ears personally, because this is quickly becoming one of the most engaging and fun anime stories I've ever seen. But before we progress science further, we must defeat an ambiguously gay muscular communist and his definitely gay eugenicist boyfriend. Let's go!
The way the Science Team progress through the technologies continues to be incredibly exciting. I also love Senku's bold approach where he just goes "nah, fuck it" and skips like 200 levels on the tech tree to make something super advanced directly. And with enough effort and intelligence, it works out. Seein…

If you have made it this far you know what the show is all about. I think there was a bit of a decline of the show with this season, but its all still watchable junk food. I think this show was a bit of an improvement as the worst 2 charecters: Yuzuriha and Taiju (the worst charecters) are not as much as a focus as much as they were in the beginning of season 1. With the focus change and the lore established the show has a bit of breathing room for its shenanigans. The show is a bit better, but if you couldnt get through the first season then you wont get through this one. `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

I must say this anime is not bad. But I'm little bit disapointed... I can't say that the anime is boring but it's only entertaining. I really like the first season and the second seemed to be good as well. So I'll say what's wrong with this anime.
It keeps repeating in many alternation 2 things:
1) Science is the best and deal with it!
2) Killing people and dying people is unacceptable!
Those two messages are not correct. It's too optimistic and science can't do anything. I must also say that there that this anime is quite original as UTOPIA. There is no way that someone could die or Senku would did something that he would really regret because he miscounted and wasn't lucky...
The characters are good but they are fairytale-like - even if someone si bad and evil he has his reason and ac…

Story
Starting off, we have the story, which is possibly the weakest part of this season. Back in my original review of the show, I criticized the lack of connection between the Kingdom of Science and the Kingdom of Might. Stone Wars, however, establishes a very distinct tie between the two nations, as we see Taiju and Yuzuriha make their return and as Senku plans their attack of sorts on Tsukasa and his army (I'll go further into detail about this dynamic when we get to Characters).
Unfortunately, I feel both the length of the season and its subtitle make for an underwhelming final battle. Not only is about three-quarters of the season spent anticipating and preparing for the final battle, but it's also brief and rather uneventful. By the time credits rolled on episode 11, I felt somewh…

This season, as its title says, was a great fight that, compared to many other series, did not last more than it should, this series continues to show us the quality it manages throughout the season and how the quality standard is increasing from good way for us to see what an improvement looks like, not only due to the fact that they give us new adventures with science but also give us new charismatic characters that add things to the plot and are not only created foolishly, this series knows what its objective is and it is reaching it little by little as our protagonist does each chapter, really, what a great series and even if the season is short, what a great season, it makes the same mistakes as the previous season, yes (it can boring to some people), but you let them slide b…

So.... this got worse.
In season one protagonist-kun woke up in a world that was thrown back to the stone age and had to use SCIENCE to everything.
Fine, whatever. I can suspend my disbelief. The whole point of a show is to be entertaining and season 1, for all it's flaws, did that.
Season two however missed the mark.
Suspension of disbelief only goes so far. while in season one the "inventions" where somewhat of a reach you could still just shrug them off as eeeeeeeh maybe it's possible. Not in this season though, it's just too much to swallow. What's worse is that most of the time it's not necessary and clearly there for the flash factor. Because this or that is cool the author looked up it's wiki page, chewed on it for like a minute, then threw it all up over the page.

AhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Was this season incredible!
I am not kidding when I say each season had me screaming by the end of it. There was so much tension build up, character development, and deeply heartwarming moments. And of course the humor that absolutely cracks me up (Personally after watching both I feel the dub is a bit better as more of the jokes land better for me). A lot of new characters are introduced as well and they are so much fun to learn about.
One of the things I loved most was at the most intense battles, they made them last an appropriate amount of time. A lot of Shonen has the habit of making a single battle last like 45 episodes and by the end you just want it all the end. Not this show. They have it last long enough that you get to see…

"Dr. Stone: Stone Wars" is a remarkable anime that combines a thrilling adventure with a captivating scientific exploration. As a science enthusiast, I was impressed by the level of detail and accuracy in the depictions of various scientific concepts and technologies that drive the plot forward. The show seamlessly integrates science and fiction, making it not only entertaining but also informative.
One of the highlights of the series is the interaction between the characters. Each character has a unique personality and set of skills, which come together to create a dynamic and engaging story. The characters are well-developed, and their relationships and motivations are explored in depth, making it easy to become invested in their journey.
The animation and art style of "Dr. Stone: Ston…

For some reason season 2 when compared to season 1 feels long. Even though it is less then half the number of episodes. I found myself not wanting to finish episodes due to being bored. Whereas season one had me hooked every episode. Meh 6/10 for this season down from an 8 or 9 for the first :/ just meh.
The art style is still very good as in the previous season but the dialogue felt a little bit lacking with some characters that i had previously liked being more annoying and unlikeable.
Really recommend the first season and I guess watch this season as it is only short and sets up the 3rd season which I am still looking forward to watching.

tl;dr: A sequel season that manages to carry over most of the great aspects of the first season, though not quite as strongly.
Stone Wars continues from essentially right where the first season of Dr. Stone left off, with Senku and company heading towards their confrontation with Tsukasa. This season ultimately does manage to carry over a lot of what made the first season so good, mainly the dedication to and full belief in the awesomeness of science as well as the solidly paced comedy. Unfortunately, these aren’t quite up to par to the level of quality of the first season. The science just isn’t as strong and the comedy just isn’t as funny. Both aspects are still good, just not great like the first season.
The main reason for this I would say is that it spends a good amount of time focu…

I gave Dr. Stone a 6 and this a 3, so you can probably deduce quite a bit from that. More so, my first take in Dr. Stone was how the first 5 episodes were incredible. You really could graph how I feel about this show in its entirety as a steady downward slope.
I was disappointed by the ending of season 1. I came into this excited that Tsukasa would finally be relevant again: because the show was at its best when he was on screen... And that still didn't pan out. The writers just didn't know how to make him relevant again. Opting instead to just have a continuous stream of minor villains who were neither interesting nor important.
Not only this but the show somehow became even less "science" the whole premise of the show. It just went full science fiction... which is fantasy and not scien…

Dr Stone. A series that blew every anime fan out of the water back in 2019 with its unique premise and fantastic animation. And although I only started to watch anime in the middle on 2020, I can tell that it had a big impact on the anime scene.
STORY
Stone wars is naturally a sequel to well... Dr Stone, and its a lot more fast paced then the original. While the main focus of the original ds was slowly gaining back inventions from the past and making them work, in stone wars they suddenly have massive inventions that are way to advanced for the stone age. While this is a personal drawback i fell its what the series needed to wrap up Tusaka's arc.

I liked this season a lot, but the pacing towards the end just got more and more stretched out. The first few episodes are fine— great even. However, several extremely significant tense moments towards the end absolutely grind to a halt with lengthy dialogue, realizations and flashbacks. It stands in contrast with how well the producers did with previous scenes. The feeling is very much like watching someone realize they have too little material and try to stretch out the last drops to fit a quota. I think they could have fit this arc into even fewer episodes. In an ideal world, either this arc is included as part of another season or a season of anime does not need to take twelve-ish episodes.

A lot of the fun of Doctor Stone was that same feeling you get when playing Minecraft where you have an end goal of a thing you want to build, and you map out all the stuff you're going to need to make it and all the technology you'll have to work your way up toward and just the satisfying feeling of gathering everything and seeing all the progress you made. As humans we all want to be able to create something, and building something from nothing gives a sense of accomplishment like no other.
Most of that was missing from this season. It felt like everything was obtained too quickly, too cheaply and with not enough steps from point A to B. Even the redemption arc for out primary antagonist feels like it happened too quickly to really be earned. There isn't that same feeling of progression…

Stone Wars is one of epic and funny battle that has happened in anime industries. What you expect when brain vs muscle in real war. Maybe sometime brain win cause of their technology and maybe sometimes muscle win if it just a brawl. Dr. Stone bring this new conflict to another level we all know that Senkuu army is at disadvantage condition because there in Stone World and usually law of the Jungle will happened. The strong one devour the weaker one.
We as viewer got attached to Senkuu, how he can win with science facing off the mightiest high school fighter Tsukasa. How he bring the most important thing (secret go watch the anime) to battle field and improving his winning condition. It is fun series we have a lot of laughter and surprise moment, I think this series worth to watch if you…

I guess it was great, but honestly.. it felt like story was a bit stretched. Why? Warning! Some minor spoilers ahead. It's like.. taking a Science Kingdom side comes with insane physical debuff. You would think that people who lived their whole life fighting wild nature would be strong, but nah, Tsukasa is the strongest, nobody else can even scratch him. And remember first episodes of first series, when he fought with blonde girl? It was close call back then. But now? He jumps from the tree branch to the ground and everyone aroud gest K.O.'d. Also we have archer with amazing hearing, who was able to tell when Tsukasa and Hyouga were kilometer(s) away, and right then, literally few seconds later, completelly didn't hear them running his way right until he got stabbed. Riddiculous. So even i…
