the way some of these stories start sometimes really annoys me honestly
also it was questionable where it was going with all the modernity with livestreaming and recording it's such a dumb addition that if left out could've made it more interesting
there's also the catch phrase and the snapping of the fingers habit it really makes me want to break those fingers
but everything else was alright, from the character development, relationships growing, combat although not impressive it felt good.
the ending got me really mad!!
GET SADDER DAMN YOU!!
HUG IT OUT AND CONSOLE EACH OTHER!!
WHAT'S WITH THE POSITIVE MESSAGE!?
TRADE PLACES WITH ME DAMN YOU!!!

No one tries to practice, learn spell or upgrade anything. they just happen to get good.
main hero can't perform level 7 magic spell but suddenly one girl can just do it.
our hero gets a curse/blessing from a highly dangerous individual for no reason and then they vanish with no backlash or consequences.
plot does not exist also "PLOT" does not exist. a hero who constantly talk, take leisure walks, kills random monsters and villains with no emotional attachment, fine backstory AND no pace to develop any attachment, sure at first 12 episode we are entangled with villain that will be put to suffer for eternity only then we see spark of emotions and it is expected that viewer connect to it.
WHAT A JOKE.
i made myself watch all episode so that any plot, any world making, anything would red…

This anime looks and feels like it was made by AI. Reminds me the famous quote "Not great, not terriible." Its sweet, nice and relaxing and I could not find anything really bad in compare of other animes in same sub-genre (sword fantasy harem with OP mistreated protag) but same I can say about good sides. In fact its awfully generic. If you have seen any similar animes you can easilly predict anything happening in the plot.
If Aparida had a plot, its more like setting. Usual OP super-useful protag is treated in his elite party like anmoying servant despite him doing the most work. When he complains he is laughed at, so he leaves, gets harem (new party of beautiful girls totally doting on him), gets appreciation, fancy titles, becomes hero, saves one kingdom, other kingdom and then the whol…

The anime overall had an amazing world building which I'd love to see with a much better story/plot than this. This started off as a generic harem, but for me harem means that the MC will give equal attention to his girls yet he clearly made a choice so the rest of the girls were just there boosting him for no actual reason. I also personally disliked that the MC is a "weakling" and barely made any manly choices. The MC only made exceptions for that single girl he have choosen so there was literally no point in making this into a harem. Not even fan service to at least let us enjoy the female characters.
The MC is not OP neither weak but just a very average guy who happened to own a single magic that is actually OP. The anime is unable to give any emotions through the entire 24 episodes a…

“With every anime that I watch, I ask myself, is this anime rushing or dragging…?”
Most shows fall somewhere on that spectrum. Some sprint through arcs like they’re afraid of being forgotten. Others linger so long you start checking the clock instead of the screen. But every once in a while, you get something special—something that manages to do both at the same time.
*A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu.* is that kind of show.
It rushes past anything that might have required actual emotional investment, while simultaneously dragging its feet through scenes that contribute nothing of value. It’s like watching a drummer in Whiplash—except instead of pushing toward perfection, this show keeps losing the tempo entirely. Not fast enough to be…

What was the snap for?? Nothing appears and that’s just his quirk and that’s the cringest thing I’ve seen in a protagonist. I can’t believe this show was made in 2025. Surely I have no expectations because the title itself proves it’s just another adventurer slop. But this? This is horrible. The world building is ass. They talk to each other like their viewers are toddlers. Even if you enjoy harem, this is just outright pedophilia. And if you enjoy this, everything is wrong with you.
This is the ugliest animé I’ve seen in a while. Only a five year old can enjoy this.

I Left My A-Rank Party as the name suggests, is another one of the seasonal underestimated op mc trope.
It started off as pretty generic but you get invested with the world and characters as you go.
They have a deep lore given there's over 20 episodes. I like the progression and growth of both the story and the characters.
I like that there's a harem but one clear winner.
I hate that they lost 2 people and they got over the loss in less than a minute.
All in all, not the best but also not the worst fantasy anime put there.

Honestly would not have been as good if the girls weren't what they are. Story is better than other shows I've watched but still very basic. Not necessarily predictable, but tropes you''ve seen before. Does some stuff differently. My biggest gripe is that sometimes stuff happens, and everyone agrees that it makes sense, but there is no explananation for why things work that way in the universe. There's a lot of: it works like this because it is most convenient for the author.
Some fight scenes can be interesting, as well as the monsters they use.
Music is pretty good too.
Animation is probably the best part of it.
If you like this genre of underestimated heros, it is probably not the worst one to watch, but it won't be one you'll remember a lot of.

A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu is an anime that starts out with good ideas and clear potential, but unfortunately doesn't manage to make the best use of them. The world presented is well constructed, with clear rules, an interesting magic system and a fantasy setting that works. In addition, the romance present in the story is simple and predictable, but still cute and pleasant, bringing some lighter moments in the midst of the adventure.
The problem lies in the execution. The story follows an extremely generic path, resorting to clichés that have already been explored in the genre, such as the classic group of heroes facing a demon king, without bringing any major twists or identity of its own. The development of the plot is slow and,…

The anime starts with quite high expectations and plot promises, but little by little the characters develop and the protagonist lacks the ability to make decisions, which affects both his character development and the overall plot progression
I liked the theme of magic and fantasy, but they don't explain most of the relevant topics or points. In the last arc, there is a noticeable rush in the story, forcing it to end quickly
The romantic or harem themes are not well developed
There are some very striking scenes and a very good soundtrack
I would say it's one of those anime to spend the afternoon watching, but don't have such high expectations.

Realistically, this is a solid 6/10 show, but the degree at which is executed make it an easy 9/10
Watching A-Rank Party is like eating a tub of vanilla ice cream on a lazy Saturday at home.
You sit there on the couch, watching some Netflix or YouTube, and eat it because it is a basic inoffensive flavor that satisfies your ice cream craving. And before you know it you realize you've eaten half the tub and need to decide to either refreeze it for later knowing all of the melted sludge is going to be gross and borderline inedible when you come back to it later, or you just be a fatass and finish it now while you're still enjoying it and accept you'll feel like garbage for enjoying it.
I was the latter, and while I'll acknowledge the diabetes in the long run may not be worth it, I do not re…

A barely mid and fine anime, so mixed feelings. There are parts I enjoyed, but most of the time I was yawning. I can't decide if this anime is chill or boring (probably boring).
As the premise goes- Yuke leaves his party of arsehole and joins a dream party of capable pretty women. Harem, acquired. They go on adventures and save the world and stuff. Sounds interesting, right? Except, it's not. The execution was kinda deadpan. Like, they'll say oh new mission- okay now Clover (Yuke's new harem party) goes here, and now they fight this monster. They defeat it. Yay. Now back to the city. And repeat.
How are the characters? Yuke is..."okay". He's a softy, but he does have a backbone when it matters, so I'll give him that. Like when he stands up to his former party. I also like that he does sh…

I left My A-Rank party relies on popular dungeons and "dream-teams", it has its own story, but at the same time it is full of clichés and does not take many bold steps - it simply plays it safe and has a "nice and kind" story. The greatest effort to develop the plot is made by the first arc (about the first 8 episodes), when the most happens and a more personal line is also followed. The fights are really simple and any action of the main character Yuke is full of colors (which make the eyes bleed /read hurt/) - that was also honestly the only thing that really bothered me. However, I have to at least praise the nice music in the opening (like in many anime). Overall, average, but average that I enjoyed every week (and was careful 😅) - all in all, a nice relaxing adventure fantasy thing.

At first glance, A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa… looks like your typical “MC gets kicked out of a top party” setup, and I honestly thought it was going to be another sloppy anime with an overpowered main character and a predictable harem. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. As the episodes go on, it transforms into something much more engaging, a hidden gem that doesn’t seem to be getting as much attention as it deserves. Hopefully, over the years, more people will discover it because this was a genuinely good watch.
What makes it stand out is the dynamic between Yuke and Clover. Their adventures together are fun, heartfelt, and exciting, and you can really see how their bonds strengthen as they face challenges. The party is arranged with your typically 3 architypes, with the mage…

Grade - Somehow, its a B, it should be a barely passing C-, but the parts that make this good are honestly incredible.
I've never seen a story outgrow its Title so quickly. It honestly is important for only really the introduction arc, and then becomes quickly irrelevant. I've started just calling it "The Red mage's Harem" and that honestly would feel better as a descriptor.
As a garbage coinsure who enjoys harem trash, support main characters leaving parties, and general dungeon world style stories this one left me on kind of a weird point. Some of the world and story ideas are far better than this show deserves, a slight magi-tec dungeon punk society with the begging's of faster travel. The way the "Bad Party" is handled, for example, is a serious surprise, and I was constantly surpris…

This is another series that overworked Japanese salarymen can use to fantasize about leaving their jobs with bosses that don't appreciate them enough. The catharsis here is that things would immediately fall apart for the team that didn't realize the true extent of the protagonist's silent contributions, and the self-insert goes on to immediately become ultra-popular with a bunch of cute girls, followed by the satisfaction of the old team crawling back and begging him to return.
This show does almost nothing particularly new or noteworthy. There's a small handful of plot details that are interesting, but otherwise it's all about as generic as could be. It's playing the tropes pretty much as straight-up as it can, and its execution is only somewhere between "mediocre" and "average". All th…

If I could summarize the show in 1 sentence it would be "Tell, don't show."
While I enjoyed this series and think the first few episodes were good, it didn't take long for it too develop problems. The series became way too fast paced, introducing an issue or threat and within three episodes it was eliminated. Character development, backstory and even normal story telling feels like it went out the window by the end of the first season. The ladies that joined the harem had decent personalities and desires but quickly turned into slightly different versions of the same person. There was some fleshing out of one girls background but it was only really their as a pretext for the harem to get started.
I don't know if the manga also suffers from this problem but it kinda kills the show for m…

This is Trash Anime at it's Worst or Best... depending on your view.
Sometimes stories, evolve into something, the author did not intend. Take Food Wars, I believe Erina was intended to connect with Souma at the beginning. However Megumi becomes a much strong and more reliable character and companion. Could I be wrong a both the original intentions, sure, but you get my meaning.
The Good....
OP - I really Like it. Rule of Anime, if you like the OP, there is a good chance you will like the anime. I got Tricked.
Artwork- pretty Solid. If Arifureta this quality, it might not have been trashed so hard be reviewers.
Macro Level Story World - From the Top level, I was intrigued by the World Building and interested in where the story was going to go.
That's the Good.
The Bad....

Nothing new under the sun here. They're just reinventing the wheel, that's all.
So what's this about?
1. It's a harem - one guy, multiple girls
2. Not ecchi though - don't expect naked women everywhere
3. Fantasy setting - magic and special powers included
4. Action-packed - fight scenes scattered throughout
5. OP main character - strong but not god-tier like others in this genre What you should expect:
1. A decent story. With 24 episodes, the storytelling and logic hold up better
2. Cute characters (especially the girls) with great voice acting. Nene as Rain and Mao as Jamie are standouts
3. Above-average animation and colors - it's Bandai Namco after all (the Gintama folks)
What not to expect:
1. Deep philosophical themes. This is pure entertainment, not award-winning drama
2. Any rea…

Superficial story, even more superficial relationships. Fails at making it relatable and fails at making you feel whatsoever for any of the characters. Only decent points are the animation quality and the okay voice acting. Characters don't look unique at all and their backstories are even less unique. Their interactions are very bland and their quotes are extremely cliche. You can guess the entire season by watching the first 2 minutes of each "important" event. If you've never watched an anime before, it will make you hate anime. And if you have watched anime before, there's no way you can drop your standards to like this.
