Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi

Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi

Introduction

Kanan is a demon who descends upon the human world with one goal: to feast on the sweetest delicacy of all—young human souls. Disguised as a high schooler, she sets her sights on her first target, an unassuming boy named Youji Kyougi. But just as she prepares to claim her meal, things take a very unexpected turn. Instead of devouring him, Kanan ends up forming a "romantic contract" with Youji. For someone who's lived for millennia without experiencing love, navigating high school romance proves more terrifying than any hunt. Between awkward dates, hand-holding mishaps, and feelings she can't quite name, the once-proud demon finds herself flustered at every turn. A supernatural romcom about a lovestruck demon and the boy who was supposed to be her prey—sweet, chaotic, and full of firsts. (Source: MAL News)

After seeing this, I can say that it’s not the worst thing I’ve ever seen, but it’s not the best visual work either. It’s a 50/50. It has its good points, such as the appearance of the female characters, which the studio handled quite well. The ecchi content is good; I feel like sometimes it goes a bit too far, but it’s not bad. Now, putting that aside, this anime has no story, no development. The protagonist’s boyfriend (Kyougi) is poorly written, although he does have some good moments. But aside from that, he genuinely feels like a typical protagonist from some harem anime. Then there are several characters who are given a lot of focus at the beginning and then completely pushed aside later. For example, Masurao or Ami. They are given some development at first, but later, if they even app…

In the early episodes, Mistress Kanan seemed like a pretty one-note ecchi-comedy anime, with a lot of the gags starting to feel a bit samey, but this is strongly remedied once several members of the supporting cast are introduced. Once the show establishes the comedy duo of a dumbass saint with "Golden Retriever" energy and a sexually voracious demon maid, is when the story really starts to hit its groove. At that point, the brakes are off and the train keeps gradually accelerating right into the final arc of the season, which introduces even more ridiculous characters, and delves into some... pretty wild subject matter. Make no mistake, this anime has several kinks, and it gets increasingly unsubtle about them. It's likely going to be way too much to stomach for some, but the tone is…

What kind of crazy person would enjoy a ecchi anime like this? It's me. I'm the crazy person lol. After finishing it, I have to say this ended up being one of my favorite anime from the spring season. Of course, it has plenty of ecchi moments, and I won't lie, I enjoy those moments. But ecchi is only one part of it. Comedy is the other, and I'd say this anime absolutely nailed the comedy. To start, we have our main character, Kanan, a demon from the demon world whose goal is to farm what she calls "lowly human life forms." So what's her brilliant plan? Enroll in a high school and raise her own livestock, of course. Though that plan would quickly get derailed when she learns that the first humans she was planning to eat, a simple and genuinely kind guy named Kyougi-kun, actually has feeli…

Heaven Be More Perverted Than Hell? Mistress Kanan Is Devilishly Easy is a show about a demon princess, who is surrounded by fans that are so desperate for her, that she has to go to earth to find her a man, to save her. Are you a fan of sexy dumb comedies, that are way too horny then this is a very much for you. Cause for me it presses all those buttons, that makes me have the most shit-eating grin possible. Truly has a joy for sexy big breasted designs and most cute embarrassed facial expressions. The courtship between the two main characters are so fun to watch, because the side characters are just having as good a time, as we are watching the two goofy characters trying to be boyfriend and girlfriend. The character design is pretty and has lots of good highlights in the clothing an…

Rating: 8/10 Mistress Kanan Is Devilishly Easy was a really enjoyable watch overall. I went into it expecting a simple ecchi rom-com, and while it definitely delivers on that, it also had more charm and sweetness than I expected. One of the biggest strengths of this anime is its comedy and character interactions. A lot of the jokes landed well, and Kanan is easily the highlight of the series. She has a fun, lovable personality that makes many scenes entertaining, and her chemistry with the other characters helps keep the story engaging. There are also plenty of genuinely cute and wholesome moments that give the series more heart and make it stand out. My biggest issue is still the ecchi content. While I understand it’s part of the show’s appeal, it felt a little excessive for my persona…

For an ecchi anime in the romantic comedy genre, I think it's very good and well-made. I'm not saying it's a masterpiece, but it meets expectations. You're not going to learn or feel anything in this anime, just enjoying it should be enough for you. The main characters are well-made, the comedy aspect of the story is very high, so don't expect too much romance. I think it's very suitable for watching one episode in your free time or when you're bored. I also have to say about the secondary characters, they're very cute and really enhance the comedy aspect of the story very well.

at first it wasn't much to me but later on it grew on me honestly, heroine character design that would look like from a r-18 VN game, elements they add to from an offbrand anime like demon that would look like succubus, erotic nun, masochist, shotacon, r18 streamer, mesugaki, a person who swing both or etc. then they mix it with cliches from a romcom tropes+ecchi that is so mild but rarely suddenly it spike up like is it ok to really go that far? plot was generic for sure but they make it more "Enrich?" by adding their romcom+ecchi while on the go, like their ED visuals, also i was surprised on how many characters they shown in the anime now i have an advice or reminder, if you judge the anime content based on the opening like thinking its classic romcom of the season or similar your act…

This is an ecchi anime that allows you to disengage mentally and simply enjoy the experience. The art style is well executed, and the character designs—particularly those of the female cast—are visually appealing and offer a satisfactory degree of variety. However, I find it difficult to fully recommend this series unless it is viewed in its uncensored form. It is also worth noting that the protagonist, who is generally not a significant point of interest, tends to detract from the intensity of the ecchi scenes when he is involved. Furthermore, there is a lack of consistency in his characterization, as he is sometimes aware of the suggestive situations around him, while at other times he appears completely oblivious. In conclusion, this anime succeeds in delivering the visual appeal and li…

A ton of fun, though it takes some time to get going. The first few episodes felt formulaic. Kyougi’s a bit of an NPC, so I found it difficult to buy his and Kanan’s dynamic. I groaned every time a sketch ended with “You lower lifeform!” Once the cast fills out and the writing sharpens up, the clichés start to thin out, and it becomes easier to accept the ones that are left. I think the show is at its best in the middle of the season, when all of the characters are bouncing off of each other. The home visit isn’t a step down by any means, and it introduces some amusing characters as well, but it feels a bit more on-rails. That’s sort of the point for introducing the last members of the cast, but also makes the comedy feel less unpredictable. Obviously, this is an ecchi comedy with at lea…

How can something be so incredibly tender and romantic at the same time? How can it be so perverted while still feeling genuinely romantic and pure? That’s the special magic of Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy. It starts off like a classic romcom: two characters from completely different worlds—a human boy and a demon girl—fall head over heels in love. The central romance is genuinely sweet, maybe even a little saccharine at times. But as the story unfolds, you realize it’s wrapped in one of the smartest, funniest comedies out there. The supporting characters around protagonists Kanan and Youji don’t hold anything back when it comes to chasing their wildest sexual pleasures. Everything’s on the table: yuri, incestuous vibes, cuckold, infidelity, sadomasochism… yet every single bit of…

Usually these types of shows have to rely on the lewd aspect and can't be consistently funny, but this is the rare exception that actually managed to incorporate the ecchiness into the humor and not have to rely on it as a crutch. Nowhere was the writing lacking and made up for with showing some boobs. The character designs are all over the top but that all integrates well into the whole story, they are actual devils and angels. The MCs both play their roles perfectly, and the guy isn't the typical loser who just happens to have some gorgeous girl fall for him. He is an actual normal nice good looking guy. He needs to be to play off the great MC whose naive shyness is what makes her character. All the supporting characters too weren't one joke inserts who then became afterthoughts. They co…

'Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi' is one of those shows where you can let a lot of its iffy things slide and not judge too harshly while watching. And it's actually not hard to point out the reason behind that. This show is not serious, and it doesn't pretend to be serious at any point. I think this is one of the strengths of this type of show — you're not meant to scrutinize its story or setting, and you tend to overlook the very visible flaws that this supposed 'Rom-com' might have. Nevertheless, I think I enjoyed 'Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi,' aka 'Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy,' and you might find this show hilarious as well. Story and Characters (6.5/10) : As basic as it gets. A devil ojousama wants to tame a boy but gets tamed or should I say falls head over heels for that boy in…
