Introduction

After a series of mighty clashes with Upper Rank Demons, the Ubuyashiki clan prepares for one last battle with the hellish forces of Muzan Kibutsuji. In order to finally defeat the Demon leader once and for all, the clan devises a training camp for the Demon Slayer Corps, one led by the remaining Hashira—the most elite warriors in the organization. Each Hashira forms a specialized exercise that will hone both their own abilities and the skills of the ordinary soldiers. Tanjirou Kamado, a boy at the heart of the brewing conflict, recovers from wounds received in a recent fight. While his half-Demon sister Nezuko is studied by researchers like Shinobu Kochou, Tanjirou embarks to train with the Hashira, seeking mastery in each of their assigned areas of expertise to be best prepared for the coming war—skills vital to Tanjirou, as he has vowed to be the very warrior who will eliminate Muzan for good. So, i know that there are a scathing number of Reviews that dont recommend watching this Arc, but without being spoilery, just understand that they are wrong, as this short Arc is a setup for the Movie Trilogy to come. The first part of the Infinite Castle Movie will soon be on Crunchyroll and other sites, should you prefer to view elsewhere... you should watch this small Arc and get ready, because i can tell things are going to get hectic from here on out. Now... to those who are writing all those scathing reviews, please take consideration on the rest of the fans, can you really expect them to just drop the series now, then wait 2-3 years bare-minimum, before we see the Finale via the Infinite Castle Movie Trilogy? To that i say, NO. they need to see the Arc, then they can judge for th…

This arc is an odd one. First off, the pacing in this arc is rather questionable. Can you even call this a "season" of anime with practically 7 slow, boring episodes, just to have a good last one? I appreciate that we got some character development for the Hashiras in this arc. That's something I can confirm that I 'enjoyed'. But truthfully, this arc is just a boring build-up for the movies. Of course, this season is important to the plot and nothing would make sense otherwise, but it's also just, pretty pointless? A lot of the training could've been cut down. They really didn't need to do all those side quests, in what world do paper planes help you train? No clue, but I suppose if you like a season with very little action, leaning more towards a slice of life anime, this season would b…

This season is a short prelude before the Infinity Castle Movie. Might be a hot take but this season was the weakest for me. I will start with the positives, it was cool to spend some more time with the Hashiras, particularly the Stone Hashira. Another positive is of course the animation and the fights (albeit more rare this season), both were still amazing. The character work with Kagaya was great, and his interactions with Muzan were as well. Zenitsu is also finally getting shown in a better light where it seems the movie will lead to a cool arc for him. Now the main gripe I have here is that it’s very repetitive, feels like every episode is going through the same scenario where Tanjiro goes to a Hashira, the training is tough for everyone, he cheers them up and they all end up happy.…

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer - The Hashira Training Arc is not the most exciting season in the series because it does not have a lot of action. However, it shines when it comes to providing character development. The characters get more attention than before, which enables the viewer to get to know the Hashira better. The animation in this episode is, as one would expect from Demon Slayer, truly astounding. Each scene is filled with exquisite details, yet again reminding us how one of the best anime franchises continues to shine through its beautiful visual elements and outstanding direction accompanied by magnificent music. The element that I loved the most about this arc is that it focused on character development, determination, and preparation, rather than on action scenes alone. T…

The beginning of chaos. Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc may be the shortest season in the franchise so far, with only 8 episodes, but that doesn't mean it's any less important. Quite the contrary: this arc serves as the great preparation for the definitive climax of the work, organizing all the pieces for the final confrontation against Muzan and the Upper Moons. And honestly, even being a transitional arc, it manages to deliver extremely memorable moments. At the time of its release, the fact that the season was shorter ended up being a very positive thing. Because the number of episodes was reduced, the anime managed to return relatively quickly, keeping the hype for the franchise alive. And considering the gigantic success of Kimetsu no Yaiba, this was something fans really wanted.…

The Hashira Training Arc was by far the weakest of the seasons but holy hell did it end on a fucking high note. After all the battles they've had up until this point and Nezuko overcoming the sun, everyone is now on a training arc which DS has done things a bit differently with this one. I mentioned that it's by far the weakest of the seasons and I whole heartedly believe that, but the way they ended off the arc definitely saved it. Normally when it comes to training you'd have maybe 1-3 episodes max, but this time they had the entire season focused on doing nothing but training. I expected some sort of time skip to happen because 8 episodes of nothing but training is a bit long to watch. However, the first episode, last 5 minutes of episode 7 and the entirety of episode 8 was well worth…

An anime that I avoided for a very long time. I knew it existed, I even knew most of the things from there and I really didn't understand why it had such a hype. The main problem for me was that it was absolutely everywhere = spoilers, and that my friend was constantly talking about it in connection with her ex (I hated her ex and I felt sorry that it was connected to her, because it's from my sister's fav anime and she kept trying to convince me to watch it. Unsuccessfully...). Anyway, this year my sister started talking about the Demon Slayer movie, that she wanted to go see it with me, to which I told her why not, it's an anime (I love them), but that I wouldn't know anything about it, so she simply summarized it for me. Last week, however, I thought I could at least watch the first epi…

Not many shows in their finale make you go crazy and beg for the next season, or in this case, the movie - right away. The finale was a blast, perfectly setting things up for what’s next. Gyomei’s past was the real standout here, easily the most memorable part for me. Outside of that, the slower “breathing space” moments were well written, beautifully directed and performed. After the disappointing Season 3, this felt like Demon Slayer getting its groove back. The comedy timing also hit just right, i missed the two crazy lads in the previous season. Definitely recommended, especially going to Infinity Castle.

what a end to a training arc nah seriously i don't know about muzan but i was surprised by the masters actions what a move took my feelings from 0 to 100 real fast great season ....with some great art as ever not rushed or mis paced... . though i thought it was abrupt how things happened before the end but if you think about it was a perfectly fine action and that is why love this season too ..... . this series from the start with it's problems has never failed to fire up feelings the best thing i can say i love how they make every character be part of the gang in it's own way ...which if done right i can enjoy and up till now it has been great for me.. . though didn't enjoy the ops &eds too much i loved the art....all n all can't wait to watch the movie in cinema ..this journey has been g…

A damn filler season with nothing interesting — just blah blah, yada yada, and a tiny bit of character development, but barely even that. I’d say if it weren’t for the final episode, this season would’ve been completely useless, since no Hashira awakened their mark, and the characters didn’t even seem to have grown in any meaningful way. The entire season existed just for that last episode, just to set things up for the movies, which are going to be the peak of ANIME. I feel like if that was all they had, they could’ve just made a short movie or something. But I guess they realized there wasn’t much to stretch out, so they only made 8 episodes to speed things up — at least there’s that.

What can I say after what's been said? What can I say after what's been said!! Muzan's plan, the Hashira gathering around him, the excitement and preparation for one of the greatest arcs in anime history. (The Infinite Fortress) The art and production are among the greatest you'll ever witness. The song and the excitement coming in the trilogy of films that will sum up the enjoyment of completing them. The Hashira training, Muzan's past with our master, the expressions of the trio: Inosuke, Tanjiro and his vow to kill Muzan, and not to mention Zenitsu's intense stare that I will never forget. There are 10 days left until the first film, 47 chapters, which I will start today, God willing. July 9, 2025, without hesitation. 10/10 for this episode. Prepare yourselves for one of the film ser…

I don't get the hate. People call this 'boring filler'. First of all, it's not even filler. It follows the manga. Second of all, I wasn't even bored. I liked the slow pace, and it was a nice break from all the exhausting action. There was a ton of character development and beautiful animation which you had to time to look at. And on top of that, the last episode was absolutely brilliant, really thrilling and hit harder after the slow pace. The surreal Infinity Castle looked stunning and I was sad I didn't get to see it enough. It's probably my favourite part of the anime and I'm so excited for the September movie which looks incredible and literally focuses on it, hence the title 'Infinity Castle'.

A predictable narrative is not always a weakness. This series proves that exceptional execution can elevate a familiar formula into a must-see spectacle. While its story follows a well-trodden path, the journey is made unforgettable by a masterful command of visuals and sound design. Every frame is a testament to its world-class production quality, creating a cinematic experience that captivates from start to finish. It’s a powerful reminder that how a story is told can be just as important as the story itself, demanding attention through sheer artistic merit alone. A deft balance of comedy and gravity is maintained throughout. The series cleverly signals its tonal shifts through its art style; moments of levity are rendered in a charmingly simplistic, almost doodled fashion. This creates…

Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc, also known as Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hashira Geiko-hen, is such a fun shonen arc that stands out because it’s mostly about humor instead of fight scenes. The final episode, where Muzan Kibutsuji meets Ubuyashiki, is so amazing—it’s honestly one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen! While the other episodes might not be absolute masterpieces, they’re still delightful and definitely worth your time. If it weren’t for that last episode, I might have rated it a six or five, but because of how great it was, I’ve bumped my score up to an eight. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this show!"

As has become standard for Demon Slayer, the fourth season continues to impress more with its visuals than with its storytelling. Ufotable's animation is a spectacle in itself, fluid, cinematic, with scene compositions that seem crafted for emotional and aesthetic impact. It's hard not to get drawn in when every battle is treated with such grandeur and technical detail. However, the story still faces the same limitations. The main plot progresses predictably, with little depth in the conflicts, and the villains , despite their striking designs, lack consistent dramatic development. Even so, the anime manages to elevate the original manga material, which suffers from weaker narrative construction. The pacing, soundtrack, and voice acting help create a more cohesive and immersive experience…

Skipped over the goofy stuff with the NPCs. Other than that it's actually decent. The last episode is honestly awesome, exactly what i watch this show for. I'm actually interested in seeing the conclusion now even if i complained about the overall storytelling and character stuff being on the weak side. But now it seems we're headed for one of the coolest anime action movies of all time. I was doubtful i'd even want to continue after S3 but i'm glad i took the 3 hours to watch this. Most of it is still fairly goofy childish stuff. As i said any time Tanjiro was talking with the NPC demon slayers i just couldn't bother but i'm glad we actually got (some) real characterisation. The actual training was fine, nothing too interesting but i'm rather attached to this show since Mugen Train. I'm…

8 episodes, with two of them being 40 minutes long, that could have easily been condensed to half the time or less. I'm not going to talk about character depth, or how the show is as thin as a sheet of paper—because that's clearly not what it's aiming for, and that's something you can tell from the start or even mention the blatant sexism, for the same reason. My complaint this time is that, even knowing all of i said before, the series still managed to surprise me again with how useless its scenes and dialogues are, leading absolutely nowhere. It’s not even a presentation arc; they introduce a few things, but that’s it—there’s no further exploration, even though there was more than enough time for it. The last episode could’ve easily been the fourth, or even the third, with the whole tr…

This is the most middling entry of the anime bordering on near bad. It is almost all exclusively nothing really happening for almost the entire season until the second to last episode and the very last episode. If you cut out 6 episodes of this anime it would be so much more watchable and for that I can't even recommend the whole season just the final two episodes are worth watching. This is possibly the worst nothingburger demon slayer has put out. For example, if they just shortened the training to a single episode or two this would not feel like such a waste of time, unfortunately it drags on for most of the season. It's not even a calm before the storm. It's the boredom before the storm.

When filler is actually good: After becoming an anime of which nearly everyone has expectations on, Demon Slayers fourth season tackles the challenge to adapt its shortest arc. While many think that a training-arc can't be interesting, Demon Slayer does what it's known for: surprising again with insane visuals, great enhancements of the manga, outstanding animation and direction. Every step of the training was interesting and granted with great animation, every episode was consistently entertaining and the final episode just speaks for itself, hyping the fans up for one of the most intense arcs in anime history. As always the story isn't that good, but as long as the production value is that high, the show manages to overcome the flaws left by the manga becoming an exceptional experience f…

- German translation below - Story/tempo 20 % 7.5/10 After a weak fourth season, there is a lot of progress in terms of story here again. Although this season is quieter than the last seasons, you can tell that it provides a good basis for an epic finale. All the plots in the season make sense and nothing feels stretched out. Even though the season doesn't have the big action of previous seasons, it manages to build tension and keep you excited for what's to come. Despite this quiet season, there are still surprises and realizations that might not have been possible in an action-packed season. Animation 30% 9/10 The animation is once again outstanding, CGI is almost never noticeable and is appropriately staged. Character depth 15 % 9/10 This time the characters are integrated into the…
