Kizumonogatari Part II is good, but disappointing. Similarly to Part I, I loved the exploration between Hanekawa and Araragi's relationship, I feel however, that I couldn't empathize with Araragi's reasoning for pushing away Hanekawa. If he wanted to protect her from the danger of running into a vampire, that's one thing. But thinking "I need to make an ass of myself and cut off Hanekawa so I can increase my power level to over 9,000 so I can beat up this vampire guy" is ridiculous. Putting that aside though I really enjoyed the dialogue between the two and is the major reason along with the necessity of this part to the plot I've rated it as high as I have, I would personally split this movie into two parts. Hanekawa and Araragi's relationship. And the three fights. The latter half is whe…

As the second movie in the series of movies of the monogatari subseries being the kizumonogatari, what has already been established in Tekketsu-hen gets added on to(Not spoil but some problems established in Tekketsu-hen become establishingly fixed here). How it gets only are the completion of some holes in character dynamics of kizumonogatari between our protagonist Araragi Koyomi and another, spotlighted character Hanekawa Tsubasa, the 2 of whom are being well integrate in the monogatari series from this subseries with the current progression done up to this iteration of Kizumonogatari.
To speak more upon that, it is imperative to watch this specific movie with the mindset and ideals that it not only a continuation on Kizumonogatari, but an exposition on the characters of Araragi Koyom…

I Gotta Survive For Her Panties Sake
Kizumonogatari Part 2: Nekketsu Is a movie where all Talk, finally goes into action, and it could not be any more satisfying.
The movie just has a real playful energy to it. How it plays with dramatic moments with silly music, and how the character just cannot stop teasing each other and having fun. It's just so exciting to watch.
the dialogue between the characters are so exciting to listen to, may be more correct to say read.
the action scenes are wonderfully animated, and creative. the character designs are so expresses, and of course the movie is wonderfully perverted as well.
The movie is wonderful to look at, the blend of 3D and 2D design just matches amazing, and real life cut out of panties or sandwiches also looks great.
Compare to the fi…

“Show me your panties again, and we can be friends.”
Araragi to Hanekawa.
It’s been a long time since I felt this disgusted while watching certain scenes in an anime. The last time was with Mushoku Tensei. Honestly, Araragi’s perverted side strongly reminded me of Rudeus. Kizumonogatari II, despite having an interesting plot and compelling characters (everyone except Araragi), felt suffocating because of the constant, unnecessary fanservice.
Visually, the movie looks great. Shaft’s style is pleasing to the eye, though two things really annoyed me: the text cuts introducing scenes and those ridiculous helicopter shots. Seriously, whose idea was it to show events from the perspective of a flying chopper, complete with realistic rotor sounds? It looks weird and makes the viewing experience…

Nekketsu builds upon the character dynamics established in its precursor, revealing the more intimate sentiments of the cast through social understanding. The dialogue and mannerisms evolve to contain more nuance, embracing the series’ characteristic sexual humor and applying it in ways that enhance the character depth. Creatively, it continues to mature, utilizing a wide array of color palettes and excellent lighting in its nighttime setting, consisting of fluidly animated fight sequences with the occasional jazz vibe. There is a noticeable push toward the theme of humanity, contrasting the ideologies of the three antagonists based on differences in their blood while simultaneously pairing Araragi and Hanekawa to indicate the significant role of choice or lack thereof in ascertaining huma…

This anime's character expressions, drawing structure and animation style are quality, unique and quite interesting. It has a nice story design in itself, but some parts of the story do not provide enough depth and some moments are really absurd.
~ But of course, what does it matter, isn't this a fiction? Does it have to be logical and consistent?
Also, as a philosophy student, when I watch meaningful scenes in the anime, I say "Ah! Yes, this scene can be examined and commented on beautifully." and then suddenly a woman's underwear image is included in the scene. Then I find myself saying "Yaw?!~ What's the connection? What do you have to do with it right now?!" (Stun and nervous breakdown)
Apart from that, the anime's commentary on the human-monster (non-human) connection are both nice.…

The second movie in the Kizumonogatari series doesn't feature the constant visual info dumps seen in the first, but it stands out in its own way, particularly during the two fight scenes. These battles go to great lengths to illustrate how our biases can lead to misleading assumptions about the outcome. A recurring theme in the second movie is the idea that one's assumptions will often be proven wrong ( such as the big formidable vampire turn out to be the weakest of the three). The movie also heavily focuses on the interaction between Araragi and Hanekawa, and I can understand why some people feel that Araragi has better chemistry with Hanekawa than with Senjougahara. Overall, while different from the first movie in terms of visual presentation and storytelling, the second movie is excell…

So Writing the review for the first time to express my frustration
story was not just predictable , it was garbage. just a rehash of tropes that felt like an insult to the series.
For story: 1/10
Art and Direction: I won’t waste words on the art style and direction; it’s the usual Monogatari fare. But even the familiar visuals couldn’t save this
Art and direction:7/10
Characterization of Hanekawa:The writing of her character was terribly done imo
Overall writing: 1/10 Audience Reception: I’m baffled by the high ratings. Did we even watch the same film? How can anyone rate this mess so highly? It’s mind-boggling.

Saw lots of people complain about the 3 antagonists being very unexplained and skipped over, but I find that normal.
Araragi doesn't need to know about their details. Araragi is lacking in experience but VERY strong compared to them. Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade (:prayge:) literally explains how this will be an easy task for Araragi (Even though she knows how lowly regular humans are, which he was just until recently).
This movie is not gonna feed you information that doesn't matter to Araragi/Araragi didn't know about. And funny thing is, for those who REALLY wanna know more about them, maybe you shouldn't have skipped the entire explanation at the end of the first movie. Flashing text is not scary, just pause at the right time.

Large improvement from the first movie. I see a lot of 9's and 10's but I don't think it was anything groundbreaking in this film. It is certainly enjoyable however and I must say that the movies should not have been split up in the first place. This film does a decent job of portraying the nuance in araragi's character. In bakemonogatari, araragi seems like a kind saint who can do no wrong, an altruist who wants to save everyone out of kindness. The end of bakemonogatari showed us that he isn't entirely a pacifist but it's amplified in kizumonogatari nekketsu-hen as we see the more irrational and volatile side of araragi. I think the plot started to pick up which is why it was a much more enjoyable watch than the first movie. Etoile et toi is an absolutely magnificient piece of music. The…

So, you're telling me it's easier to give your panties to the guy you love than it is to straight up confess? I honestly don't know if it's me or the author who needs to hang out with more women, and my criminal record is too clean to make the experience myself. So, welcome to Kizumonogatari II: A better vampire story than Twilight (kind of) where Araragi becomes the worst attempt I've ever seen at gaining a fangirl's attention, the story takes a few steps forward (don't worry, it'll get there one day I'm sure of it), Kiss shot is still somewhat underwhelming as a character and Oshino is based af.
As for the story progression, well Araragi beats bad guy number 1, 2 and 3 in a relatively short period of time, I still don't understand what's the purp…

Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen has some of Monogatari's best action.
Spoilers for the first movie since this is a sequel.
Story: 9/10
This movie is more of an action movie, but I still think it's really great nonetheless. Kizumonogatari II serves as a great sequel to the first movie and this one showcases some of the best fight scenes this series has to offer. This has a lot of tense moments in it even for a prequel and It showcases some of the best of Araragi's character.
Art: 10/10
Like I said the action is this movie's strongest, and it does not fail to amaze me during the amazing spectacle that is the fight scenes. The movements are smooth and really cool and quick. Without spoiling too much I will say that the gore is amazing, and I'm not some gore-loving person who loves seeing…

I was correct in my assumption that this film would be better than the last, though I suppose that's only natural. There's a superficial reason and a narrative reason I enjoyed this film so much more than the first. Those two points are: the battles and the character development. Like I said, praising this film for the battle scenes may seem superficial, but they really made a difference to the pacing of the movie; on top of that, some interesting animation and fight choreography (though I'm not sure that's the right term to use for what I'm thinking of--perhaps "fight sequences" is a better term) was presented. Seeing how Araragi progressed throughout the fights or where he failed was all really engaging, but just the tone of the fights themselves were amazing.
The character development…

After watching the first installment, I have to say that i enjoyed the second one much more. Although I'll have to admit, i don't know if I'd rate it as high if this was an individual film and not part of a trilogy. My thoughts overall would be that the second installment does everything just a bit better than the first.
The lore is explained more and helps the world building and understanding of the mechanics better and makes the plot feel more developed. While the characters still remain quite predictable and follow a lot of typical tropes, their background and personalities are explored more in this film as well. I do have to comment on Araragi and Hanekawa's strange 'friendship' though... it really just feels like a Wattpad story with forced sexual tension. I couldn't see Hanekawa as…

Kizumonogatari II was amazing, I think they really went above and beyond compared to the first one. It has all of the same good aspects of the first one without any of the bad. I thoroughly enjoyed Kizu II and am looking foreword to watching the final movie.
As far as story content goes, Kizu II is great. Unlike Kizu I, which was mostly set-up for the rest of the films, Kizu II has plenty of action. Not that I hated the slowness of Kizu I's plot, it was supposed to be kind of slow so we could get to where we had to be for II. The fight scenes were amazing, and the more mellow parts were also awesome. There was a lot of great development for Araragi and Hanekawa, and their conversations were never dull. The comedic aspects of Kizu II were also great. The jokes landed well, and had great co…

Story 9/10:
Story is really well written and really interesting, but it doesn't really talk about the vampires and how they got there at first place
Art 10/10:
The art and animation is just god tier. The fights felt really good.
Sound 9/10:
Sounds are pretty ok Characters 8/10:
I really love about the kiss-shot and how she just grown and stuff
Enjoyment 9/10:
I really enjoy the anime. It keep you on the edge of your seat and keep wondering how they will fight.
Overall 10/10:
The anime isn't for everyone because it is sometimes pretty disturbing and gore, but in my opinion this is one of best anime movies in whole existence.

Kizumonogatari part 2 is probably the best action anime movie that I've seen, and it's probably my favorite part of the Monogatari series.
Story-10/10
The beginning of the movie is about Araragi preparing for multiple fights and to return the leg to kiss short (heart under blade) so she can regain her powers as a vampire.
Art-10/10
I've never seen 2D and 3D mixed together, and it looks excellent, and the animation of the fights are spectacular.
Sound-9/10
Even though the music doesn't stand out too much, the soundtrack is ok. Character-10/10
I'm not going into detail with this, but there's a lot of character development in the Monogatari series, and there's a ton of dialogue.
Enjoyment-10/10
I enjoyed this a lot; the fights were great; the part when Hanekawa gave Araragi her pantie…

Oh, I loved this movie! I rewrote the synopsis, so I hope it goes through. There were some inaccuracies. Koyomi Araragi is a new vampire, a minion of Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade. Even though he is a freshly made vampire, he quickly learns that he is a powerful monster on par with the hunters after Heart-under-blade. Araragi duels three hunters: Dramaturgy, a hulking vampire, Episode, a half-vampire who can transform into mist, and Guillotinecutter, a human priest even more dangerous than the others. With the assistance of Hear-under-blade and Oshino Meme, Araragi learns of his new abilities and must embrace the powerful monster within in order to save his dear friend, Hanekawa. But all along, all Araragi has wanted was to be human again. Is that human part still within him?…

Oh my, yes! I will attempt to make that my only embellishing statement, but no promises.
Kizumonogatari II is the second-best anime I’ve seen in years. It has made me feel like I haven’t in a while; in a way that only the Monogatari series can. While watching Kizumonogatari II, I was so sure I would mention the second scene as being the best scene in an anime since Evangelion, but then every other scene was just as good. It feels like Kizumonogatari II is the best the Monogatari series can do. It is Monogatari at its peak. Everything the Monogatari series has ever done well is done at its best in Kizumonogatari II.
Kizumonogatari II is raw feeling all the way through. Kizumonogatari II handles its characters with such love and tenderness like nothing I’ve seen before. Tsubasa Hanekawa…

Continuning the first episode we have Nekketsu-hen. Let me start with a bit of sass and assert that there is nothing "hot-blooded" in this episode (a better fit for that would be the third). Riding on the wings of the exposition of the first, Araragi just continues the fight already forecasted. The 3 introduced antagonists don't get the backstory needed to at least "become characters" of their own. If your curiousity was peeked after the post-credit scene of the first, you will be disappointed, as it doesn't evolve from there.
The art is equally stunning as before, though the "wow" factor has already worn off considerably. Sound is a bit better I think, though maybe that's just me looking for merits. The ending stays the same throughout.
The pacing is the same if not worse. Let me spoil…
