When was the last time we watched an Isekai that felt this weirdly refreshing simply because it decided to put the entire thing IN SPACE. Yes, actual space. Fleets. Battleships. Thousands upon thousands of ships firing at each other. Giant robots. Lasers everywhere. The biggest problem is obvious though, this show was absolutely held back by its production. The animation is, at best, mediocre. There are plenty of scenes where you can practically feel the budget begging for mercy. But here's the funny part: the 3D CGI is actually pretty decent. You can tell the directors and staff were putting some work into this. Even when the animation wasn't perfect, the ambition was there. The battles felt enormous, and that's something a lot of anime with supposedly massive armies somehow fail to com…

This show is what Emminence in Shadows wishes could be. The plot is rather simple, so are characters and animation as well, sometimes sticking out like a sore thumb. And yet, it still manages to handle all of what it has with quite a grace. Characters feel believable, well mostly, there are obligatory trope ones, but I could stomach them. Only real thing that bothered me was how weirdly the entity (The Guide) acted, or rather, that his power is somewhat inconsistent... Bro is multi-dimensional being, stopping time, possessing people, yet he loses to a ghost of a dog. But that's probably more of how dumb he seems to be, rather than his power level... Besides, that's probably the intention anyway, but it does stick out a little. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Which is rare, because…

Holy peak, this shit is an actual hidden gem. At first, it looked like it was following the normal route: shitty animation, op powers, fanservice, etc. But then it just did a complete turn around, it started to get really confusing. The story didnt make sense and I had no idea what was going on. But they were actually cooking something, and they were not missing. The show is primarily a comedy, it plays around with some common troupes and the jokes do be hitting some times. But the deeper themes in this show were what really made this show so much better than that. A comedy with an actual story/development that isn't complete shit. IT ACTUALLY MAKES MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS TO HIS PAST LIFE! Instead of just forgetting his past life like every other isekai, it actually utilizes his background…

Going into this anime, I expected a fun sci-fi anime with space fleets, mecha, and an overpowered protagonist. What I didn't expect was how attached I would become to the story and its characters. By the end, I was completely invested and honestly didn't want it to end. The first thing that grabbed me was Liam's past. The betrayal he suffered before his reincarnation genuinely hit me hard. Watching someone lose everything they cared about, especially his daughter because of the people he trusted most, was painful to watch. Those scenes gave real meaning to his decision to become an "evil lord" in his next life. For once, I completely understood why a character would want to give up on kindness. And yet, that's where the story becomes special. Liam constantly tries to be selfish, ruthles…

To be honest not gonna lie literally definitely actually you should watch this anime, worth to watch guys you need to give it chance. Definitely good story, worth to watch but not with the first part of the story (I do believe everyone agree with me). The animation itself really suks even with this good story why they can't manage to get too tier adaptions. What a joke, quite disappointing. Need more better animations for the fanservice, this title already had good potential but they didn't make perfect adaptation for the anime. I love the comedy and the cool part's whenever the main characters showing up his appeal. Tbh just want to write some of reviews but have to make it long i really don't like it. Simply what I want to say is: The story is already contain good material for to…

This shit is honestly so peak, and I'm not sure why this anime has flown under the radar of the Isekai community for so long. I want to highlight a few key things. This takes the best parts of kingdom building anime like Overlord, comedy like Konosuba, serious body horror and stakes like Re:ZERO, and one of the sweetest romances I've ever seen in an anime, like one of the final scenes actually made me cry as if it was Your Lie in April or A Silent Voice. This entire anime covers only ONE volume of the light novel. I can only compare the light novels political world-building to that of Mushoku Tensei or Re:ZERO or Ascendance of a Bookworm, but unfortunately that is mostly for future light novel content, but parts are still present in this anime. I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Emp…

This anime has no idea what to do with itself besides an inordinate focus on gags that get stale and boring very quickly. Honestly someone has already written most of the points I want to state. This anime isn't a space anime, isn't a sci-fi anime, isn't a harem anime, isn't an action anime and isn't even an Isekai anime. It is a gag anime and a very bad one at that. The gags are repetitive. Literally all of them are introduced in beggining and there is no introduction of new gags later on. They also get boring very quickly. Honestly this could have been a great anime if it simply focused on story and got rid of the gags completely. The story moves fast in the first few eps but after that it doesn't move at all. It is the obvious case of someone coming up with a good idea and then havi…

“I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!” is what happens when you order Gundam from Wish. Sooo… is this supposed to be a parody or not? I am truly confused. There are a lot of tropes that are straight up laughed at, like learning fencing and having a badass OP AF master. But they are played pretty straight. I like dry humor as much as the next guy but because of a mishmash of tropes and tones I have no idea if this is just a badly written parody or a badly written isekai (yes, I know, there aren’t many well written ones). The story is surprisingly interesting in the beginning, but the plot is utter garbage from start to finish. Before we start I would like to explain something. I will be talking about “plot” and “story”. Many people use those terms interchangeably. I’m not one of…

This anime held my interest from the very first episode. The backstory of the main character was delivered at just the right pace: neither too long nor too short-making his wish to become an “evil lord” feel completely justified. The MC isn’t overpowered from the start. In fact, he begins at the very bottom, in a situation where most would fall into despair. Instead of wasting time with long episodes of depression or endless self-reflection, the anime paces itself well and shows the MC confronting his circumstances directly. Character design and personalities are well balanced. While the MC can be somewhat gullible, he never allows his naivety to become a liability, consistently making the right decisions. Unlike many protagonists in similar series, he is not portrayed as overly merciful…

Brothers origin story is so compelling I almost was going to give him a green light to be a villain. Brother earned the right. After the compelling 1st episode I was starting to think this could turn into a generic anime. But I am glad to say this isn't your generic slop. Actually the entire show is entertaining, mostly because of the story. It could have been better than its now. While I did enjoy watching him make his kingdom prosperous I wish the story focused more on how he dealt with the poor economy of his kingdom that he inherited along with debt. I felt they had somehow skipped explaining what could have been the best part of the show. I like the situation with his martial arts master. I don't remember seeing any other anime where the sensei is a fraud and yet the pupil still be…

What a surprise! another rare Anime that blows the Manga out of the solar system. Those opening 3 episodes were certainly a stroke of genius, lacking any OP what so ever and directed to capture the viewer into its den of amusement. My review consists of 2 sections; 1. I will offer my thoughts of this show, 2. I will put forth a few ideas which aim to boggle your mind whilst exploring the central theme of the show. A breath of fresh air. Space pirates, Isekai, Struggles between Nobles, Well thought out backstories? It’s got a bonanza of pure bliss. It’s smooth, oozing with sauce and super-bingeable to boot. - Story Fantasy lite, taking a few pages out of the ‘Fantasy Encyclopedia’, plus a large helping of Sci-fi honing in their their efforts there. A great choice by them. Not enough s…

It’s alright. Not amazing, but definitely not trash either. What really threw me off was the first episode. It opens with a five-minute fight scene that’s never mentioned again. Maybe it’s meant to happen after the final episode? If that’s the case, why put it at the beginning? It feels like a random teaser, and it doesn’t make sense. It’s not really a spoiler since it has zero impact on the plot, but it is annoying because you end up meeting characters before the story actually introduces them. That said, one thing I did enjoy was the humour. I didn’t expect to like it, but it actually landed for me. Also how is this anime not an ecchi?😭

"Why This Anime Deserves Your Attention (Tropes & All)" Let’s address the space-elephant in the room: "I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!" sounds like peak self-aware anime nonsense—and that’s exactly why it works. The Setup Picture this: A 5-year-old lord inherits a bankrupt planet, generations of debt, and zero sympathy. While most kids are struggling with naptime, Liam’s outplaying aristocrats with his AI partner-in-crime, Amagi—think Wolf of Wall Street meets Babylon 5, if the stock market traded in mecha fleets. Why It Shines Despite Itself Tropes Done Right: Yes, it’s packed with clichés (reincarnation, underdog rise, OP mecha), but it owns them like a chef leaning into junk food. No pretenses—just competent chaos. B-Movie Charm: The animation won’t blow your mind, but…

In my opinion, this is a somewhat underrated anime. Admittedly, the storyline isn't very deep, but the plot is coherent. It's a fun story to watch. In his new life, our hero tries to be a "bad guy" and, in doing so, manages to revitalize his family's rundown town. The fights are simple, yet the storyline is good. By the end of the twelve episodes, I was disappointed that it was over. You wish there were another season, but I don't know what it could be about. One idea would be for him to finally build up his harem. Some sexual harassment as a "villain" could have added spice to the story.

The best genre on the market, sadly overflown with subpar slop, that is isekai. Now, in what category does this show enter? Well,it's complicated. First of all, this isekai isn't exactly set in a medieval fantasy, but in a sci-fi kinda setting. That's already pretty unique compared to most others. Does it help the story as a whole? Ehh.... In a way. It does offer a breath of fresh air, and the setting feels pretty ... legit? If i had to pick a word. Of course, they still have sword and ... some magic? The magic part's ... barely there, but they went the 40k sci-fi route. And im all for that . But this one's really far from a masterpiece. There's plenty of issues, small but additive. First and foremost is the fact that there's not much development for any of the characters . And most of t…

Boy oh boy, this anime is amazing!!! Like dude, the title is literally called "I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!" it can't get more epic than that!!! Aside from that, I really enjoy and love this anime to the fullest of what it has to offer, just like what I wrote in that other anime called "Your Forma" about AI/robots "There's no better feeling than seeing an AI/Robot developing feelings that's more than enough to make her human, the same as anyone else. If she has the will so strong to even cry when showing her true feelings, isn't that more than enough to be said!!!!!. Amagi and Harold from "Your Forma" are the best examples of such actions!!!" So if you like these types of anime, then go for it. But let's talk about our boy Liam, literally at the age of 5, our boy gotta d…

A man that got a lot of really bad events/traumas in his earth life, full of regrets, gets on his death bed a second chance at life in another world from a God... but there's a twist why this happens. The story is pretty simple, the MC gets isekaied in a world with magic and sci-fi stuff as the son of a count, which is someone that has as its domain a planet system, easily becomes the count himself and then the story begins in earnest. There are a lot of events and things that should have dragged him down a lot and make him despair and fall off even more, but the MC always gets out of them usually in some absurd way (the absurdity is a big element of the comedy in this anime). The story's events keep getting bigger and bigger, and more fun to watch and quite hype, as there are fights with…

"I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!" is surprisingly different when compared to the isekai's of the past few seasons. I'm not a big isekai person, but the plot being mechas fighting in space and dealing with intergalactic scenarios was definitely a breath of fresh air to me compared to the usual fantasy/guild or medieval-esque route, which is always available every season. That being said, I'm not saying this is a diamond in the dirt; the anime does have a lot of clichés, the story is over the top/exaggerated at some points, and the character development is nothing to brag about. The plot follows the MC being reincarnated into a sci-fi era as a count of a poor family after facing a horrible life. Now he is determined to just be evil, but his actions don't make sense, and you…

This series is intentionally over the top in every way, and it makes for a fun ride. This feels like Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu crossed with The Day of Sagittarius from Haruhi, and of cause, Gunbuster, but something to note here is I didn't find myself ticking off a list of recycled tropes when watching this series, I wasn't watching it and thinking about how other series did certain story beats and tropes better. So nothing about this series feels tired or overdone. In the first episode we get introduced Liam's past life, how bad it was, how he was betrayed repeatedly, how he suffered... it is so intentionally over the top in how it is all done We then encounter his parents in his reincarnated life, they are ditzy, happy go lucky without a care, and keen to have Liam inheri…

The story was a bit predictable but because I enjoyed it I didn't even think about what's coming, it's a good comedy at all. The humor is not heavy and it's light, there is a serious tone that exists alongside it. Also the show carries a deep romance which will be memorable if you finish the anime, that's because it's very unique and I haven't see it in any anime before. The characters were simple and acceptable, they look funny but there is a real meaning in that fun (ex: the struggle of one person to spoil the life of others). And at least, the dialogue of the characters doesn't feel robotic, hard to understand, or (like a monologue). Isekai fans will obviously like it if they are already mature.
