Introduction

The final battle against the Dark Territory drags on, as players from all over the world flood the Underworld's servers and plunge the Human Empire into utter chaos. Asuna Yuuki and her friends defend their new allies with everything they have, but their numbers are falling. Meanwhile, Alice Zuberg heads toward the World's End Altar while Gabriel "Vecta" Miller relentlessly pursues her. Meanwhile, members of Rath strategize a plan in an attempt to restore Kirito's damaged fluctlight. However, the intruders occupying the main control room have other plans. Surrounded by death and despair, when all hope seems to be lost, one voice reaches out to Kirito—a familiar one saying, "I will always be by your side." Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld 2nd Season is the epic conclusion to Akihiko Kayaba's dream of creating artificial human intelligence. Now it is up to Kirito and his friends to protect this collapsing world from the people that still think it is just a game. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

To start talking about Sword Art Online, let me make it clear that, in my opinion, it is a completely mediocre anime, with occasional flashes of becoming a good work. Now, let's get into the details. SAO is a collection of dramatic catchphrases and "cool moments" that might impress a seven-year-old. We don't even need to dig too deep to see how the characters lack personality and are utterly incapable of standing on their own. It gets downright frustrating how shallow their interactions are. As for the story told in SAO Alicization War 2, it’s just as weak. The villains feel like something written by someone lacking creativity, and the previously established rules are constantly broken, rendering everything illogical. For example, the villain enters the game with a super-powered account…

Yes. This is a rant, but an honest one. I watched the Aincrad arc in 2016 an ever since I've been a fan of the series. I am one of those fans that acknowledges the series to be shit but still loves it. The Phantom Bullet and Mother’s Rosario arcs had me whither from the series a bit but Project Alicization brought my love back to life and on full steam. The first season of Project Alicization had all those SAO problems we are used to but was really damn capturing and emotional. I really recommend the first part if you ever felt inclined to watch it. Now for this second season... I felt betrayed. Lots of emotinal loads that come out of the blue and don't really grab you. They don't even allow you time to engage in them and mourn the dead before brushing it off and throwing another "epic"…

story: - i see the peak of the virtual VRMMO game, where tens of thousands of players from different countries gather and wars together. the creation of A.L.I.C.E, the world’s first AI with a soul and a brain like a human, is wild. a walking piece of metal wanting human rights? of course, the government isn’t going to agree that easily. they just see it as a hunk of metal run by a program. they don’t see it from kirito’s perspective. - kirito got nerfed and became paralyzed. yep, this is what all the fans who followed the series wanted. hopping between games and always having OP stats and strength. it’s pretty annoying because they never showed kirito grinding to level up his skills. he always just shows up with some new power that no one else has. honestly, i was getting bored of him if…

Spoiler-less, TL;DR, fast, simple, and easy-to-digest review: "Mom can we have Avengers: Endgame?", "We have Avengers: Endgame at home", Avengers: Endgame at home: 5/10 Animation? Excellent (+++) Crisp, hype, and jaw-dropping fight scenes. This season might have the best fights in this series. This is peak animation in SAO so far. Good job animators! Characters? Ok (+) FINALLY OMG!!! MY BOI KLEIN FINALLY HAD HIS MOMENT! HIS ENTRANCE IS SO FCKING AWESOME!!! THE WAY HE DROPPED IN IS LIKE ME DROPPING INTO THE WARZONE AS SNOOP DOGG WITH NICKI MINAJ AND JOHN WICK FROM FORTNITE! YEAH GET EM KLEIN!... oh for other characters? Pretty decent. Most of them do not disappoint... some are... maybe like a handful of them are unbearable I guess. Story? Meh (-) The only payoff in the story are the fi…

I don't have it in me to write three different sections on the Alicization arc, so this review is going to cover the whole thing from start to finish. The Sword Art Online series has been a mixed bag for me, and that trend continues with the Alicization arc. Ordinal Scale was a decent build up to it, but did Alicization really live up to the hype the movie brought up? Let's DIVE right into it! The story of Sword Art Online: Alicization is by far the most complex of them all. For each main arc, there are a few general requirements they all must have. 1. A new virtual reality world. 2. A new deuteragonist. 3. A new antagonist. What's interesting about Alicization is that it fulfills the second and third requirements twice. Compared to previous arcs, Alicization is long with a grand total…

The second part of War of Underworld is a clusterfuck of magnificent proportions. Though the main storyline is consistent, the subplots are very chaotic and constantly changing what's happening. The story has lots of twists and turns while maintaining the goal of extracting Alice from the Underworld. Some episodes feel like collections of various deus ex machina while attempting to fit as many different characters into the episode as possible to create a big crossover. The anime also decides to display a blatant disregard for the concept known as death by randomly having characters that died appear both spiritually and physically. Basically every concept that was previously established about the Underworld is thrown out of the window in favour of creating as many climactic situations as…

I am definitely lost, why this anime is getting so much hate from some groups. I guess just popular pieces have to face to this. Entire SAO Alicization is really awesome anime. I won't deny it has here and there some smaller or bigger holes, however it's not a burden for this anime. You can still enjoy it and it won't just shatter your experience in 2 seconds with some total nonsense. I am not some hardcore fan of SAO myself but I liked original concept and I'll try to review, why this anime is good. SAO Alicization continues in path made by first and second season with few things from movie SAO Ordinal Scale. When in 2012 original SAO season unleashed, many people like it. And then it started, with people, who actually liked it, came also people, who just needed to hate it for any cost…

Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld 2nd Season Well, the first part of this war was already a disappointment, but to bring this to a new level is something you didn't see coming. Not sure how many times I joked about what we watched and what happened this season. If anyone has experience with Kingdom Hearts Writing and the Youtube Channel "Just a Pancake", that person will know what I'm getting at. This season is a pure definition of "Random Bullshit Go" "That's not even my Final Final Form" and "Okay I believe you" - these 3 memes represent the entire plot of this season. And having Simito fight the Anti-Miller at the end made me completely cry. How and why did one almost end in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann? What's with the ending of Alice? Why, why, why? The ending of th…

SAO's franchise has always been full of disapproval babbles between the anime fans, we can look that in the continue hate and rants that we can find in every place. However, even if it is hard to accept for several fans, the light novel is considered the best of Japan's decade, where it matters. One of the arcs from that light novel is titled Alicization that concludes with these eleven episodes and that for me, it is probable the best part of SAO's plot until this date leaving aside the new arc (Unital Ring) that is being published right now. Moreover here's my rating Story - 9/10 Track - 8/10 ( "Unlasting" Was the best ) Animation - 9/10

“Jesus shall come again in glory to judge the living and the dead; and his kingdom shall have no end." -Corinthians 15:23 I used to be an atheist until I watched Sword Art Online: Alicization: War of Underworld Part 2. History has proven Jesus was a real man, but the second coming of Christ was merely a myth to me. I never truly believed Christ would return from the heavens to liberate us… until now. Reki Kawahara has created the final chapter of the Bible. This tale rivals Shakespeare, Dante’s Divine Comedy, and The Odyssea. It is the most spectacular writing I have seen in the entire franchise, maybe even of all time. War of Underworld Part 1 began this mythological story. Kirito, the holy spirit, was trapped within the vessel of a sleeping man. The fake news viciously scrutinized Kirit…

So it took basically 3 and a half seasons for Kirito to actually deal with any of his trauma, and I am absolutely beyond caring at this point. This half of the season definitely put a downer on things, and not just because Kirito eventually does come back and take over things again. We did have at least a minor point of ''oh, this is actually okay" with Bercouli's fight against Vector, but that was about it sadly. First of all - why the hell did Leafa's introduction into the world have her literally being raped by a tentacle monster? It was so unnecessary - there could have been literally any other way to have her energy/life force drained by this women, but instead she gets partially stripped and giant tentacles with teeth bite her and drain her in intimate places - you can't convince me…

This is a review for the entirety of the series. "If there is a God, he has abandonded us". Having watched the entire series, from the beginning to the end, I can responsibly say that this is but one giant stroke of Kirito’s d*ck. Excuse moi for the language but there is no other possible way to express it. “It can’t be that bad”, “It gets better later on”, lies, such lies. SAO IS that bad, and it NEVER gets better. It only gets more pretentious, and somehow even more insulting. I can’t decide whether this series underestimates its audience or overestimates its own ability in offering an engaging story. The ones of you who might have thought like me: “But it’s MAL’s 3rd most popular series, since the franchise is so big it must be doing something right, I don’t mind trash anime as lon…

So after Alicization Underworld 1st part started off promising, I was excited to see how this arc would end. Boy was I disappointed. I mean, it's not all bad- but my goodness this ending to the arc was a complete mess. Characters that are dead come back to help during crucial moments. The power of friendship is so annoying and overly done. Characters are either overly emotional or dead as paperweight. Anyways, here's my review. I'll keep it short as always. Story: 2/5 at best. A lot of things that happen make no sense. Like...warping in real players from other countries to fight. And the main baddies have the stupidest plans. The war actually wraps up relatively quick, thank god. But then something happens, which isn't explained clearly. Then some time jump to who knows when because it's…

After we got so much build up in season 1 of War of Underworld we got smash back down to earth. If you know in this season Kirito group must face off against RED ARMY. But the battle it self doesn't feel like we are in the middle of the game. It is more like fantasy setting but instead of dying the player got log off. The only good battle that we will get from season 2 is Bercouli fight when he must retrieve Alice from the enemy. And also we get the continuation from unfinished problem that happened at Aincard. The season it self feel not so bad, we already know the bad side of SAO. (the harem, Kirito plot armor) You will get to see that bad side of SAO again. I just hope they focused into Integrity Knight, but instead of that we didn't get enoungh exploration in this area. In Conclusi…

Though the description of "red army" armor is indeed a failure, but also is the usual routine, male role is either extremely hentai or is killed, women are harmed. But ruined the whole atmosphere is mainly a few key scenes, like li method resulted from a virgin speech changed not good, but the overall is not degrade at this point. But occasionally a wonderful performance is admirable. In the case of frequent bad tail, the result of sword is also a good end. There are some bugs. Lifa should not be so stupid. The spy should not be killed by a scare. Anyway, Alice is very charming.

(take this review with a biased grain of salt.) SAO is my favorite light novel series/anime ever. Everyone complains about Kirito being too OP. And Asuna. And basically, I recognize it's a running joke in the anime community. But for me, SAO is perfect. I love OP characters. I love Kiritio and Asuna and their romance together. I love the storylines. All of it. I especially love how everything connects together in each new arc. Of course, nothing beat the original aincrad arc. That is, until the newest season, War of the Underworld. I got fucking goosebumps watching that shit. Pardon the language. But seriously. I loved every second of it. It easily surpassed the first season for me. I loved how all the characters made a return, even Eiji and Yuna. I loved the character arcs and Ali…

9 minutes in to the first episode and we get a Leafa groping scene, I honestly was about to drop it right then and there and I said that if that pig did what he was told to do then I would...well I'm still here so let's get on with it. I'll spoil some stuff here and there; If you saw War Part 1, I won't waste your time, I gave it a 6 and you can see that this is two points lower so it's not really worth investing into in my opinion. To start, they really wrote a way to make every time a girl interacts with Kirito, it brings him that much closer to saving his life. The writing is the downfall as usual. They amped up the fanservice too and I don't mean perverted scenes, I mean characters and scenes/references to other seasons. It's to the point where it's almost a joke because it's like pla…

where do i begin, sao has been hated for its 2nd season which i admit lacked some details, but the whole alicization and war of the underworld arc really changed alot, the only problem i see people have is the rape seen which everything was censored so there shouldnt be a problem and it was only like 3 minutes and the screen would cut to another character. The animation in the show was god tier the character had some sort of develpment which was really cool, in this whole alicization arc the characters felt like i had a connecting to, i felt like i was personally there with each character and when some died i was sad for sure. the show knows how to do a sad scene and i cant denie that, it was a good arc and people who hate this arc are literally looking for minor problems to exaggerate the…

i try to be fair, sao season 1 was good for bringing people to the show the first arc was good to keep me waching the 2nd made me want to drop but i ddint ggo arc was good to me, mother rosario was also good, but alicization to me was peak fiction, 2 people going to prison to break out and save a long lost friend from the control of a different being thats a good plot and story telling, SAO amazed me with this season with animation and story, the animation was clean epecially in the 2nd part of the underworld, so many new characters and back stories, interesting back stories to, cool character and there weapons, even the weapons had a back story on how they were made is was an amazing arc for the show

SAO has been blasphemed for years by netizens. Yet my friends a pure watcher regardless of what's the SNS said, he still enjoy and recommend it to me. Their fans suggest to at least try the Alicization arc because it's a fresh start with a better writing & not much related with prev arc. I guess, I should give it a try. (this is general review of SAO Alicization & War of Underworld, because they all a one package story) So the story is about MC brain damaged by accident (how come a 1 meter umbrella lose by a 1 cm injector? & he called himself the Sword Hero?). To cure it he must dive in a VR game console that can recover his brain in-trade of carrying a mission to stimulate AI there to break a rule by their own, to make a self-aware AI not a robot. Alice the AI did it but then arrested by…
