Ryou is main hero teenager who somehow get himself in the middle of the demon vs human fight for Earth. He also has a sister named Saori, in addition to parents. They all will play their roles in this fight. And then plot get twisted around, adds some Chiristian-based side-demons, new angle and almost new story. This is action-focused story, you watch and wait till next plot-reveal thing. It isn`t deep, even boring at some moments. pros: plot twists that changes everything anime 90x early 2000x style some good-old nudity scene, not in echi style but old-fashioned Christianity-based plot (with a twist) cons: animation SUCKS boring moments even with 13ep only, could be better and faster no one has any self-reflectation, feels like they`re just actors following the scrypt Watched it at 1.…

Maou Dante is essentially about this boy who becomes the Devil and it contrasts a lot about demons and gods (like real religion) and has them fighting against each other. The anime starts off with quite a good plot and story idea, the progression is quite good too but it starts to get jumpy and the pacing goes off. Sometimes it will skip important scenes and sometimes it just gives way too much filler which isn’t necessary considering that this anime wouldn’t even need that. The VA and animation is OK as expected for something from 2002, if you’re watching the dub you’ll likely find the VA quite annoying. This anime starts to get quite boring and confusing towards the end and has loads of random themes like nudity and incestual intentions which kind of throws the story off. The music is po…

The story pretty much holds this Anime together. Its a good story that i found interesting and hooked me enough to watch all of it 2 sittings. Thats not to say its not without its flaws. Its definitely a budget Anime and the Animation is pretty bad. The art style for the time isnt that bad its just taht the animation was cheaply done. The music is mediocre, and the Voice acting is kind of bad. I've heard far worse and its tolerable but its definitely not good. The dialogue is also not the best. Im not sure if it because of the translation or what. Characters are just ok. For a budget anime based on a 1970s Manga its not bad in the end. Its just ok in the end. The story was original and entertaining and is what holds it up. This probably isnt going to go on any one's favorites list bu…

This is probably one of the worst if not THE worst anime I've ever seen. The most information you're given on the plot is always the bare minimum, and watching this made me feel like over half the show was just filler because there were multiple times where events that occurred previously were just completely irrelevant. The characters are all pretty boring, including Ryo and his sister who are supposed to be the main characters but just fall flat in every way, most of their interactions in the first few episodes feel like the same scene over and over and over again. The worst part is probably the music, it was pretty funny the first few times I heard the same awful songs being played at least twice every episode but it gets old extremely fast. The animation is incredibly lackluster and so…

Recently people have been arguing whether Go Nagai (Getter Robo, Mazinger Z ) can only make giant robots shows. For the most part, they’re right, he can’t do anything other than robot shows well when shows like Kekko Kamen were created under his name. That does not mean that Go Nagai can not create shows that are entertaining as hell like Demon Lord Dante. The plotline to Demon Lord Dante starts off with a bunch of crazy cultists who try to revive the titular Dante. The protagonist of this series, Ryo begins to have several weird nightmares involving sacrificing. Later on, the cultists decide to take his useless, damsel in distress of a sister, Saori as a sacrificial lamb. After a few pointless events, Ryo gets possessed by Dante and can turn into an odd demonic creature at will. From the…

Pretty good for an older anime. Story has creepy elements similiar to Doomed Megalopolis and Devilman. Action is good at times. Violence is fairly well done, although not too gorey. Odd concept is what comes to my mind when I think of this one and that is why I didn't resell it. Kinda boring in parts and whole story would have been better if it only had 9 or 10 episodes.
