If you're debating whether or not to watch this, I say that there's about a 60-70% chance that you'll enjoy it, depending on your preferences for anime. It's very simply and heartfelt and hard to dislike unless you find slice of life boring, simply put. I don't remember sitting here and reading through all these reviews-- the show takes barely an hour to watch and it goes by so quickly that you'll forget you were watching it in the first place.
That being said, let me go into the specifics for those who want to hear them.
Super Seisyun Brothers doesn't have a really specific overarching 'plot'. Only a few episodes have a major plot that carries over to another episode, though it's all in chronological order and there are developments that happen. I wasn't sure about this anime a few ep…

This is a funny and very relatable for young adults, however is are no clear theme.
There is essentially no plot, however this isn’t a major issue and isn’t expected for such short episodes. This is a fast paced comedy drama which shows the teeangers in their typical day to day life, like going to school, work, or just hanging out. The teenager’s challenges are very relateable. The series explores many themes like having a crush, or struggling to find a purpose in life. Although the series never really focuses on one specific theme or challenge which means there’s less emotional depth in the story. None of the themes were well developed as each theme (like finding your passion or relationships) was only mentioned in one or two episodes most. And the ending was a little disappointing as I…

As a 4-minute-per-episode short anime, Super Seishun Brothers certainly fulfills the saying ‘good things come in small packages’.
2013 saw a number of good shorts so far, and I was spoiled by the likes of Senyuu and Ketsuekigata-kun. However, despite being up against pretty stiff competition, Super Seishun managed to hold its own.
While having a good plot is always appreciated, there are times when you don’t really need one. That was the case with Super Seishun. As per the opening of episode one, “The older sisters are best friends. The younger brothers are best friends. And between these similar siblings, existed a strange relationship”. The series chronicled the daily lives of these siblings, focusing on the quirky relationships between them and their interactions with other characters…

This anime is a quick-to-watch, sweet, slice of life type which mainly focuses on the interaction between two pairs of siblings - elder sister, younger brother.
Story: 6
If you're looking for a very light romance-comedy, this one may be for you. Each episode is only 4 minutes long, so don't expect much of a story line. It barely ventures out past their interactions with one another in their houses. But it's still cute in a simple. romance-comedy type of way.

The characters are beautifully drawn. The colours are so vivid and bright, and everything is pristine.
Sound: 9
The voice actors/actresses fit the characters perfectly. They're exactly how I imagine them to sound. The ending sequence is also very bubbly and cute, and compliments the short anime.

"He's addicted to net games, so we go on dates online!" - Kohara Shiyo
I've had this anime on my list for a while now so yesterday I decided to start watching it. As a fan of short episode anime anyway, I was not disappointed at all.
[Story (8/10)] : As I said above, I had watched a couple of s.e.a (short episode anime) before starting this such as: Aiura, Chitose Get You and currently Onee-chan Ga-Kita! and this was by far the best in terms of story.
Now I wasn't for looking for any sort of continuity between the episodes at all because they're not meant to have a solid plot but what I really liked about SSB is the fact that on multiple occasions, they had episodes that would carry on from the last and it made for some great character development.

Oh god how I hate this anime. "How could you hate an anime you rated an 8 Bento, how could you!" Let me tell you why.
I hate this anime because I enjoyed it way to much just for it to be over that fast. Whoever thought of making 4 minute anime needs to be wiped from this planet. ON TO THE REVIEW!
The Story, Is stupid. there isn't really a story. But, that makes it so much more fun. Since the anime is short it concentrates more on small developments and character elaboration. What you have here is a sister and brother being friends with another sister and brother from another family. The brothers are best friends and the sisters are best friends. Its very mild and easy to just coast along with.
The Art is fantastic to me. I love the colors and the fact it seems bright but dull at the sa…

A cute slice of life mini-series revolving around the friendships of 2 pairs of siblings.

I honestly thought that I would hate this Anime because the storyline seemed so random at first but it was absolutely fantastic!
The storyline is very real & relatable (relatable in the sense of friendship & love).
Super Seiyun Brothers is one of those Animes that you'll enjoy watching in a laid back manner.
The animation is pretty smooth & not choppy with the cuts from scene to scene.
The art is very nice, At first the eye coloring bothered me but you get used to it & see it as a norm. kind of thing.
The narrator is a nice touch to this series & makes you chuckle at some parts.
After the series ends it makes you want more & I find it a shame that there is no manga on this.
Overall:
Good Anime…

A short anime about a realistic group of people and their interactions with each other.
Story: 6
The story follows two groups of siblings, the Saitou siblings and the Shinmoto siblings. The older sisters are best friends and so are the younger brothers, but everyone is in good relationship with each other. Their isn't much of a story since each episode is approximitely four minutes long, but the short stories are very enjoyable and actually quite entertaining to watch.

This is the thing that stands out the most with this series, the art style. It is quite unique and uses very bright colors as the main color palate and heavy focus on circles to give details and depth on certain things such as hair. I found the art to be interesting and it works quite well with what the anime was ai…
