Introduction
Netto's father Yuuichirou Hikari has made a scientific breakthrough by introducing the "synchro chips". If an operator and his or her navi are in a special enviroment known as a "dimensional area", they can fuse together in the real world via a technique called "cross fusion"! Yuuichirou's first test subject, Misaki Gorou, attempts the process and sadly fails. Netto offers to try with Rockman, but his father forbids it. Cross Fusion puts enormous strain on the operator's health, and battling in the real world could mean death.

Rockman.Exe Axess is easily one of my favorite anime arcs of all time and the series that got me into anime. However, I was a little nervous that it wouldn't hold up when I rewatched it. No one likes rewatching their favorites and realizing they don't hold up anymore. But after completing all 51 episodes, yeah my thoughts are the same. Rockman.Exe Axess is still fantastic. It uses the plot of Battle Network 3, 4, and Network Transmission to make its own unique story that is extremely well written and cool. Now it's not perfect, but it's still extremely good.
The plot is simple yet well executed. Yuurichiro Hikari creates a new battle chip, the synchro chip, a chip that allows navis and humans to fuse. Netto and Rockman use this synchro chip to achieve Cross Fusion to merge in the real wor…

I assume you already watched the first season when you are watching this and its better in almost every way, art is the same but the plot and its episodes and characterization are better in every way(the villains are also much better than previous seasons as threats), animation its on average better than the average episodes of last season but it doesn't have the really 2 good animated episodes of the last one.
So despite all those improvements and more consistent narrative and an actual overarching plot its ruined by filler(meaning non relevant episodes) and the pacing goes to hell due to this since they get a lot, hence the low score, this story would be better if it had half of the episodes.
Its ending foreshadows the next season so unlike the previous season, this is more of an adven…
