Being a song major in my 8th year of college I thought this anime would help me get one step closer to my dream of reaching the top of the music world. That's not what I got.
As a Huge fan of Love Live I had to give this anime a chance. I thought that the character development I had gathered from the last 2 seasons of this anime would make me fall in love with them more. NO! That's not what this is about. The bad pairing systems made the characters lose their shine.
The bad CGI in this anime is HORRIBLE. How do you draw the characters so clean then mesh them together in such a bad fashion.
The principal continues to get on my mind as he continues his antics of wanting a lawsuit to be filed against him. This anime does not make me feel comfortable because of his presence.
If your a H…

This anime is weird because I can't give any of the seasons higher than an 8-- and that's being generous-- but I'm still really enjoying it? It's like a guilty pleasure, you know? I know it's trashy, but I also love the music and the boys, so whatever. Let me live.
Okay, I know this is a dumb thing to bring up, but the art got knocked down a damn peg this season because they decided to CGI the dance moves in STARISH's final performance? It looks like garbage. That being said, I still love the art in this anime. The colors are absolutely beautiful, and the blending that's done on that characters' hair (I know, I'm weird) is really nice.
I feel like it's hard to top a good thing, so the music every season does kind of take a hit. This season's music wasn't the best, but the ending song wa…

To be honest this is by far the worst season. Seasons 1 and 2 were much more enjoyable, so it makes me kinda sad to write this review because I actually really like this anime.
The only reason I kept watching was that I am super fond of all the voice actors and of the music, otherwise the plot was extremely dull until episode 10, all previous episodes were disconnected tiny quite irrelevant stories. The script was so repetitive and boring I just could not even pay attention properly.
Things that actually made it worth it: Quartet Night becoming an actual team, the music in general which is still wonderful, and well, that open ending that I can't spoil. Starish did not really do anything worth mentioning at all, so hadn't it been for the other groups I would not even bother watching season…

Compared to the first two seasons, honestly, this one was very disappointing. It fell so short of my expectations that I actually dropped it.But being a big fan of UtaPri, I forced myself to pick it back up and watch it through.
I don't hate this season so don't get me wrong. Let me jump right into the pros first. The story is great. This season shows more personality and character in the Quartet Night members. If you love the Quartet Night members, you should definitely watch this. The STARISH factor lacked a bit but I still appreciated the development of the Quartet Night members.
Then the cons.
I was severely disappointed when I realised they changed the way they animated the live performances. The style is now similar to other music anime such as Aikatsu and Dream Festival. I mean, t…

When I watched the first season of this show years ago, I loved it. It was its own thing. Watching the second season, I still enjoyed it. But something went wrong with this one.
It was repetitive and very boring. Nothing really started happening until the last few episodes. In a show where all the characters have been introduced already, it's so unnecessary to chop up episodes into little groups.
The dialogue...don't even get me started on it. Not only does everyone feel the need to repeat EVERYTHING, when they don't, they're saying something generic and cheesy that seems all too forced to be quite honest.
Nanami still has no *real* character. Just about every time someone says something to her, she repeats it in the form of a question. Her lack of character is getting real old, espec…

I only got into uta no prince sama recently and despite knowing it for a short time, I fell in love with both the characters and the story (I also shipped Tokiya and Haruka really hard - MAKE IT HAPPEN) so when I heard about this season, I was really excited only to become slightly disappointed with the overall show.
Story: Much like the previous seasons, the episodes focus on a certain character and their involvement with Haruka. The show also introduces some new characters that Haruka spends time with as well aside from the main cast of our familiar seven boys. This then comes to a climax with the last few episodes focusing on the group altogether with some hints of romance. In this season however I felt rather unhappy with the overall story and wished that the show had demonstrated it…

Notes: There’s a TL;DR with pros and cons listed near the bottom if you don’t feel like reading the whole thing. There are very minor spoilers in this review. Also, this review is mostly for those people that haven’t watched Maji Love Revolutions yet (I’ll just be calling it MLR) and have watched the other 2 seasons and want to know if it’s worth watching but people who have already watched it are welcome to read it too. This is also my first review, so feedback is greatly appreciated.
When I heard Utapri was getting a third season, about a year and a half ago, I was pretty excited, I really liked the first two seasons and I just really couldn’t wait until MLR aired. Was it worth waiting a year and a half? Nope. The only feeling I got after watching it was disappointment and the impressi…

I was really excited for Uta no☆Prince Sama♪, especially after the great commercial success of Maji LOVE's 1000% and 2000% seasons. I have a love/hate relationship with reverse harems, mostly watching it because BISHOUNEN, but Prince Sama became a favourite after the depth they went into character development and non-annoying (not a word; don't use it) female lead who doesn't know how to do anything other than be torn about which guy she likes better because they all got equal screen time.
However, Revolution was a considerable disappointment. It lacked the vigor that innovated me to change my skepticism about harems and come to love the series; personally I found myself skipping through the episodes rather despondently. It played the usual aesthetics of reverse ha…
