Introduction
Momona is an ordinary junior-high school student hailing from Jewel Land. At her cousin's wedding, she envies the bride, Lady Diana, due to the fact that she is marrying the cousin who she had a slight crush on. However, once she sees Lady Diana and her cousin together, Momona begins to like her, and accepts her as her cousin's bride. Just as Lady Diana is about to properly meet her and introduce herself, Momona is transported to a snowy place in Jewel Land where the ruler, Lady Jewel, is giving a speech to the Petit Ladies, girls who are chosen as Jewel Candidates to be the next Lady Jewel. Momona meets her partner and mentor, Ruby, a white rabbit, who will guide her through the tasks in becoming Lady Jewel. Whoever passes the most tasks wins and becomes the next Lady Jewel, but standing in her way is Lillian, a girl who also aims to win the title of Lady Jewel, so she can choose her brother, Cayenne, to be her King alongside her. Momona soon also begins to fall in love with Cayenne, yet Lillian doesn't want her to get too close to him. Cayenne also seems to harbor feelings for Momona, but who will be chosen in the end as Lady Jewel to decide it all? And will Momona and Lillian ever become true friends and will Cayenne and Momona ever be together?

Lady Jewelpet belongs to the "Jewelpet" franchise but you don't have to watch any of the other shows. The story in Lady Jewelpet is mainly focused on tasks for girls who want to become ladies and relationships between characters but even though it is a bit repetitive it doesn't get boring. It is told in a continuous way without plot holes. However, there are some stupid things like a character stumbling too often (for example from a cliff) and most of the time she is getting rescued in the last possible second.…

Hear me out alright? I know this anime aimed at a child audience but mighty God on high I love this anime.
The story follows a girl named Momona who is transported into Jewel Land. There she and other girls were selected as candidates to compete for the spot of the next ‘Lady Jewel’. Momona’s assigned partner is an adorable rabbit named Ruby that will help her in the tasks. The girl that passes the most tasks will be crowned Lady Jewel, but standing in Momona’s way is the fair Lillian. Lillian’s goal is to be the next Lady Jewel so she can pick Cayenne to be her King. (Soon Momona will also fall in love with Cayenne). We also begin to see that Cayenne may be harboring feelings towards Momona too, but who does he truly love? Who will win the honor of being crowned Lady Jewel?

I was really surprised to find out Sanrio is making a long running anime. Well, it’s very cute anime. Character designs are really lovely and stylish, especially boys are good looking and fresh. Girls are a bit of mainstream, the main protagonists are shy (Karon), outgoing (Momona) and boyish (Mizuki) girls.
Momona is at his cousin's wedding where she meets his beautiful wife and then she suddenly is wandering near the Jewel Palace, where all the lady candidates studies to become the number 1 lady!
