Introduction
Tokine Amino is the young and overburdened secretary of the CEO at a talent agency. One day while cleaning, she is suddenly transported to a strange alternate dimension ruled by a floating piglike creature. The creature, Hacchin, explains that this dimension is called "Quizun," and transforms her outfit before stating that she cannot leave unless she solves a puzzle within five minutes. While Tokine manages to keep a mostly calm composure and solve the puzzle, Hacchin recognizes her talent and decides that the two will meet again. Now Tokine runs the risk of suddenly being transported to Quizun at any time, along with anyone who may be within her vicinity.

One of the biggest issues is that the plot and the way characters act just make no sense. Oftentimes nonsensical things just seem to be normal to characters and don't require more examining. The puzzles themselves oftentimes don't make any sense either and I have no idea how the character draws conclusions sometimes. It feels like a very sloppily thrown-together show that someone with no concept of good storytelling wrote.
The characters are very bland and flat. The main character is so well-loved for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
The OST does not stand out at all (oftentimes it's some vocal song that's probably the ending theme?), and I found the opening theme to be bad, in terms of both vocals and how it matches the music.
The art is strange - character designs do n…

So, Nazotokine. "An anime about puzzles". I was interested in this since it was announced, since I love puzzles and having an anime which focus uniquely in this was interesting enough. So as soon as it was available in crunchyroll, I watched it.
...aaand it was kind of a disappointment. First, there's the lenght of the episodes: only 7 minutes, minus ending and opening. That leaves us with 5 minutes of actual show at most. This makes the whole experience pretty lacking in content, but it also ruins the pacing, since Tokine doesn't even solve the puzzles in the same episode they're presented. Then there's the obvious lack of a budget. A lot of the art is static, there's a tooon of montages in the show instead of actually animated scenes, and some bad CGI here and there. And then the actual…

A disappointment at its finest. Even if you're a puzzle lover, fluent in both Japanese and English; I doubt you would enjoy this anime.
I am going to summarize my review because this anime is not worth anyone's time in my opinion:
- Boring story telling structure. You quickly realize that each puzzle takes 2 episodes for it to have introduced setting, characters and solution. It was so predictable that I stopped watching it every week and just watched it two episodes at a time.
- A 90 second opening for a 7 minute episode. Every. Single. Time. This just made me angry. What happened to "being short on time" because the main character can't get to a puzzle and solve it in the very same episode?
- Characters are not memorable. I already forgot their names.
- No character development.
- Anim…

Welcome to Puzzle Games: The Anime.
Pretty much the only reason I watched this is because the studio is new and I wanted to support the underdog and because the genre is "Game".
Nazotokine is a "Game" anime, but probably not the game you're looking for. It's not SAO, Log Horizon, .hack//, etc. It's like you're watching a lets play of one of the puzzle games on steam but not as good and you're watching a lets play of a puzzle game. The one anime I can think to compare it to is Death Parade and that's a bit insulting to Death Parade.
There's a lot of CG. So if you're really turned off to anime with overabundant CG this is not a show for you. This is to be expected since the studio is primarily a CG studio (seriously go look up their previous work, they've done the CG on a lot of big shows…

You want puzzles???...you know both English and Japanese?...well good luck with this one, it's gonna be fun!, the others who don't...well just good luck.
So it's about an office lady that gets transported into a "quiz world" and needs to find the answer to puzzle so she can leave, if she can't...well we never know by the end of it. Right this "could" be interesting...if the puzzle weren't a mishmash of English and Japanese and vague hints at times.
Really, if your just in it for the puzzles, it "ok" as an anime short, but as in context to Tokine Amino's character it's fine. But having context to the outer rules of the "Quizun" and a "mascot" of the Quizun doesn't tell us almost ANYTHING about Quizun besides Tokine and how she got here and ANSWER the puzzle, it's not really wasted potenti…

WARNING: SPOILERS. DON'T LOOK IF YOU WOULD RATHER RISK TORTURING YOURSELF BY DIVING INTO THE SCARY UNKNOWN.
Here's the big question I need to ask all of you reading this, including me: Why on earth did you watch this piece of pointless money-grabbing garbage of an anime? This anime is insulting to the highest degree, and is just one of the prime examples of how bad a job you can do with an anime. Not sure what I'm talking about? Get ready to get schooled, my dear otakus.
Let's start with the story. Bland? Check. Makes no sense? Check. Dreadful? Ohoho, big check there. Bottom line is, this story makes me sick, and here's why: This series had potential. I didn't expect too much when I first found out about it, but it had the potential to be at least somewhat half-decent of a story. Enter T…
