Introduction

Chisato Takatsukasa, a 35-year-old author, has such a youthful appearance that anyone would think him to be in his early twenties. His work is inspired by his idol—the best-selling mystery author Saki Shunka, who is as much of an enigma herself as the plots of the books she writes. Chisato is also the extremely overprotective father of 15-year old Riju, convinced that the "friends" his son constantly brings over are nothing but predators waiting for the perfect opportunity to defile his precious boy. As a result, Chisato will stop at nothing to ensure they never come over again, resorting to the most extreme of methods. There is not a man he hates more, however, than Riju's rather persistent best friend Shunsuke Sakaki, who just won't go away regardless of what Chisato tries to do. But the motivations of these characters lie as secrets bubbling just below the surface. Why is Chisato so wary of Riju's friends, and what exactly does Shunsuke know about the mysterious author his friend's father idolizes? [Written by MAL Rewrite]

It's so so. Probably because i watch it in 2026 so lots of the jokes didn't make sense to me and the plot is pretty much overused and typical. There's a lot of better BL anime but if y'all really want to then you should watch them. The story is rather questionable consisting a high schooler ( it think? It doesn't really mentioned but ther wore some sort of uniform) with his friends father. Its practically the "your mom" jokes accept it's your dad and they're really going out. I mean it doesn't necessarily THAT bad so i would still recommend it.

This show is actually so ridiculously absurd, it's hilarious. Yes, it's extremely problematic right from the very beginning. Starting from the age gap to the harrassment to the imaginations lmao. This show is not meant to be taken seriously. I really hope the author wrote the manga as a satire because if they weren't, they are seriously mentally ill. Anyhow, I won't recommend this show to anyone. I was still able to sit through the two episodes because the premise just got absurd progressively and I found it utterly hilarious. P.S. Chad Shunsuke actually scored a friend's dad! 🗿 DILFs are only a dream for many.

This is the worst piece of shit I've ever watched. I thought watching an already weird yaoi anime for this month was going to be a cheesy, boring anime. But no, I was wrong, This is gross and I could barely take it with my own two eyes. Wishing for the character's death every waking second wasn't enough for me. I like how the dad (the dad's dad) was more concerned about his son hooking up with a man (a boy, mind you, who is 20 years older than him). Lol this is so bad and I'm glad I know not to watch this again lol byebye

This is your typical BL. Seme x Uke style. Muscular (kinda) guy likes cute guy. Cute guy rejects muscular guy. Cute guy has a best friend who also likes him. Two guys compete over one. Obviously the main character wins, takes the cute guy and they make love. The end. (Seriously, it's like that. Well, almost.) Anyways, I loved the animation. I found it very gratifying, and the sound was more or less. The plot was kind of cliche and really predictable, but I can't help loving it. I recommend it for anyone who's looking for a funny but interesting ova. Fellow fudanshi out.

It is kinda silly, but since it is comedy it is allright. It is really was hilarious, though guy who went for main hero was too persistent - on the place of main hero i wouldn`t trust him, excuse he made for overprotective father "if i were just fuck-toy for him he wouldn`t went through such trouble to get me" it was poor excuse, if guy is persistent it is not neccessarily means he likes you, maybe he just don`t like being rejected or having his caprices not fulfilled, IMHO. Also was weird how main hero worried about his son might get raped - while it is usually happened to girls and in that moment he didn`t know that his son is gay. What saved impression is hilariouds moments and light-hearted atmosphere because of which you hardly could perceive that story seriously.

When I was watching this, my reaction was mostly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Like, I couldn't be mad at myself b/c I'd chosen to watch Kisepapa, and I didn't think it was going to be that "great" anyway. So I was just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Story: 3 for poor Do I really need to elaborate here? It's just unrealistic, the writing isn't funny. Throughout the series I was only laughing at myself b/c I was thinking, "Why do I make myself watch these things?" Anyway, I didn't like the story b/c it was unrealistic and nothing about it was remarkable or shocking. In fact, during the second episode I literally felt trapped in that ski lodge or whatever you call it. I wanted the setting to change. Watching that episode was like walking through the woods and seeing the same trees over and over and over again. Repetitive.…

Well... I cannot recall when I first started watching YAOI or when I first started liking them, but the thing is... here I am now writing a review on one of them! Kirepapa. Beautiful ... dad? Well that's just right. We basically have a whole plot based on the character of a handsome father, Chisato, who falls for his son's best friend. His son being 15! I don't really understand why yaoi anime often embody this pedophilic aspect inside their plots but, sadly, I have to say, in this case, it works. It may be a liiittle unrealistic (I mean, on what universe does a teenager look hotter and more MATURE than a 35 year old man?) but the truth is the characters of the story bond really nicely together. What is being highlighted here is LOVE above everything. The love of a man towards anothe…

It's a very light hearted anime, and I got a good laugh while watching it. I think it works very well as a comedy, but you can't take the story too seriously. Short and sweet, each episode wraps up its own mini-story very well, so there isn't a feeling of incomplete-ness that I find with some OVA. The art is very good in my opinion, and since everyone looks young-ish it doesn't feel weird while watching it as long as you don't think too much about the logistics of the story (Very big age gaps between couples). Downside is too much random blushing and cliche moments, so it can only be enjoyable if you don't take it too seriously and get a good laugh out of how ridiculous some scenes are. Also would help if you're a fan of BL, because otherwise there probably isn't too much allure for yo…

To summarise it one word : Hilariously brilliant. Oh wait, that's two. The story may not sound compelling to you at first : A beautiful father is highly posessive over his equally cute son. Nearly everyone is gay here, even the father.. (Which makes me wonder how he became a father in the first place..) Well no matter how cliche or overused it may sound, the main focus of the show isn't the plot, and if there WAS a plot, there's no way it would have been able to develop within these 2 short episodes, which is partly the reason why I wish there were more episodes. The art is fantastic, well everyone looks overly young, but I guess that's visually pleasing, though unrealistic. It still deserves a 10 though. It has a very -how should i call it- smooth feel. The colouring and shading is fair…

In Kirepapa, the artwork was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but a far cry better than some of the animation I've seen out there. The storyline is a little overplayed, what with the over-protective father and his precious child, but the way the characters are introduced and pulled together makes it all worth while. I enjoyed the comedic aspects of this series (and there are a few), as well as the puns that were worked into the dialogue. Overall, a decent pair of OVAs that made me wish there were enough episodes to call this an actual series.

It barely passed. The story seems to be something quite overused in many yaoi anime (or even normal guygirl romace. Or even Yuri.): "OMG I'm in love with this person but I've never seen him but owh my gawd he was just under my nose all this time!!!" I mean it's like, "Give me a freaking break. Another one?" And then you'd just walk away and roll your eyes. And even the conflicts are way too commonplace- "oh my gosh i can't accept you because you're my son's bestfriend" and the whole "my-family-won't-accept-you-so-do-I-break-up-with-you-or-not" kind of thing. Absolutely nothing can catch your eye, and all ideas are overused. Even sex scenes aren't all that hot. Even the sex scenes in Haru wo Daiteita OVA are better. Even the characters are not that great. We have the typical (and by typic…

Its my first time doing a review be kind lol There was a bit to much sex but other then that the story was cute... It really focused on the trials an everday cuple might go through.... Even though there is only 2 eps the characters grew within those eps... It covered the same as a full tv series would with out all the extra crap..... So if you dont mind a graphic yoai story then I recomend that you watch this.... it really is one of the better ones

Although this has the overused storyline of one character secretly in love with another, and plenty of the typical misunderstandings, confusion, denials, secret obsessions, etc, it has light humour as well, good artwork and sounds. So overall I would rate it average to good. If you are looking for a lightish yaoi story with some kissing, petting and the final (but discreet) boom-bang, then this would be good for you. I enjoyed watching it although the secret love/confession was getting to be too much, it didn't last long enough to be truly bothered by it. Nice, but I wouldn't bother to watch it twice.
