As a Precure fan, I've watched all the previous seasons, and this is undoubtedly the worst I've seen so far. I'm going to focus on three points I want to complain about.
1. The fairy who should be the icon of the season (Pekorin) is relegated to a secondary role, so much so that she barely appears. Then they try to give her a power, but in the end, it feels flat due to her lack of screen time.
2. The main characters: there are so many of them in such a short time that you don't connect with any of them (I especially dislike Cure Macaron).
3. The villains: they are very flat and irrelevant, especially the final villains, Noir and Elysio. It feels like they aren't a real threat.
In short, one of the worst seasons so far

honestly, it's very wholesome, I really really love it. The characters are very lovable and this season as a whole really cheers you up no matter how you're feeling.
its main motif is desserts and animals, it's a very cute theme and really has an unique aesthetic to it, making it pop out more than other precure seasons in my opinion, the songs for the opening and endings are great, the voice acting, animation, character design and storyline is just magnificent.
if you're just starting and don't know where to begin in this rabbithole, i really recommend watching this season first, or you could always watch them in order! one thing is for sure though, this season is not for everyone, a lot of people don't like it, others like me do. And that's totally fine. I really recommend it though becau…

The first Precure season I ever hear about , I did not know it’s was a cooking season about delicious sweets with a animal motif too , it’s another non violent season of Pretty Cure , also I know this season exists because of a King of the Hill meme , is it worth to watch ? Maybe , the season is about villains taken away the sweetness from food by taken their taste away , this feels like a Shoujo Toriko ( Also by Toei Animation ) the animation looks as good as ever , the characters are cool to look at , the plot is simple , I still don’t know how to cook sweets , Kira Kira Pretty Cure a la mode is a Precure season with a theme of cooking , and wanting the food to be the very best food ever , the villains are okay too , the ending is just another Precure ending

This season definitely is one of the lesser-liked seasons of Precure for several reasons, but it also did a bunch of cool, interesting things as well. This is my favorite Precure season so far. I've watched Healin' Good, Tropical Rouge, and I'm currently in the middle of Splash Star, so I'm a fairly new fan.
First of all, I love the fashion. These girls (except for Gelato) have my favorite magical girl outfits of the series, honestly. I wish that the animal theme was expanded upon, but at the same time, this season already gets compared to Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power. Still, that particular theme seemed thrown in, and it would've fit Healin' Good's theme much better. The animation is good, the backgrounds are nice, and the characters are well-written. Yukari is such an unique character. H…

I've watched everything Precure-wise up to this season so I am quite familiar with the Precure formula.
Visuals: considering this anime is from 2017, the visuals feel dated and not polished at all
Audio:
1) nothing special about the soundtrack
2) unlike 99% of the Precure seasons, this one decided to cast unknown seiyuus for the main characters and 2 or 3 legends for very minor roles. The only exception was the casting of Fujita Saki as Yukari. The cast performance wasn't bad or anything. I just think it's a fun trivia fact about this season and wanted to share with you.
Story and characters:
1) This season mixes two completely unrelated themes: cakes and other sweets with animals. Why? Probably because they couldn't decide which one to go with so they ended up doing both at the sa…

Kirakira Precure A La Mode, the sixth season I'm watching in the Precure franchise. This season definitely took a very out of the box thing as its theme- Desserts. And like desserts, I think this season was bittersweet in both story-wise and quality-wise. Basically, it's kinda awkward to pinpoint how I feel.
Story: 7/10
Definitely a bit different from what I'm used to from the first five seasons I've watched. We first start out with a whole bunch of smaller villains before moving on to the main ones, which isn't something I've ever seen, so that's cool.
One thing that makes me feel awkward about giving a lenient score like I always do in this aspect is just how far the season can be divided…

It's best understood when you realize that the theme of this series isn't just about sweets - it's about what you love, and what you don't, something that comes across much better with a little understanding of Japanese that it does without it. That said, it's still far from the best Precure ever.
STORY: 6.5
Oh, how it tried. It's perhaps best seen by splitting the series in two.
The first half starts out ambitious, before loosing steam. The protagonists motivations seem not entirely logical, the enemies aren't that interesting or even scary, and frankly, not much really happens. Sure, you get to know all the cures, fairies, and their families a little more in depth than the same span of other seasons, but that's about the best of it.
But oh, the second half! Everything is deeper, loud…

Having previously watched go princess & Heartcatch, this season was so blatantly bad (script/direction wise) that i couldn't stop thinking about it while watching each episode.
Let's start with the "good" about Kirakira Precure:
- The precure character designs were great, specially post-henshin.
- The transformation sequences were mostly great ~! Chocolat, Parfait & Gelato had the best ones but the other 3 were good.
- The fighting style lacked impact but was as creative as you can get with a sweets related theme for a weekly kid show with a average budget as most anime get.
- Action Animation / Sakuga wise episodes 1~3, 5, 6, 12, 23 & 48 were the best kirakira had to offer.
- OPs, EDs & Insert Songs were really good and mem…

~Let's La~ ANIME REVIEW~
Story: Honestly, they had a good thing going with the story. I had high hopes. Alas, I was disappointed. At first, I thought it was going to be a lighthearted, fun Precure season, but it soon became clear that it would become more depressing.
Character: It was soon revealed that all the Precure had mental illnesses. It was just depressing. They also made it so that I had no attatchment to the characters whatsoever. They didn't connect with me as much as the other Cures. I really hated Cure Parfait becuase of how they introduced her and how much stronger she was than the cures.
Overall: I am in love with the precure fanchaise, but this truly is disappointing.

WARNING: Spoilers all through the review! Considering how bad the plot is honestly this might actually help out...
KiraKira is just awful. Back then PreCure fans would fight among themselves on which season was the worst one. Some claimed Suite was awful because it was not as good as the previous two, some that DokiDoki was because the main heroine was the center of the universe, some that HapiCha was worst because Blue sucks and smart ones that it was GoPri because the princess theme was dumb. But now these discussions have stopped since we have the unarguably worst season ever: KiraKira.
There is absolutely nothing redeemable about KiraKira. It's just bad from beginning to end. The plot never makes any sense, probably because the show has twice as many writers the average season does a…
