Wow. I decided to watch this on a whim without knowing truly how bad this was. Since it's a sequel to The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, it must be good right? Wrong! What can anyone expect from such a short anime? 12, 3 minute episodes. There's nothing to this story, it goes nowhere. The art isn't very good, rarely it would look okay for a frame or so but overall the art wasn't good and the animation was stiff. The sound had no standout qualities and the characters were extremely bland with no memorable anything! The villain was laughably bad. This show is a sad shell of its predecessor. Atleast in the original show, it had charm to it with funny moments and decent characters. (It wasn't a perfect show) in my opinion. I can't name 1 positive this show has to offer. Just stick to the orig…

As someone who is a big Star Trek fan, something just clicked with me when I started watching the Irresponsible Captain Tylor, and by the end of the series it had become one of my favorite animes ever. Some friends have told me that Musekinin Galaxy☆Tylor was awful. They were right. Story: 1/10 The story is basically a flanderization of the 1993 anime's plot, with Tylor, "Yamamoto" and Azalyn going on a journey. Art: 2/10 The art is pretty standard modern anime, but Tylor and Azalyn look really bad and the new character looks somewhat out of place but doesn't reach the ridiculous appearance of say Shia Has in the original 1993 anime. Yet there is random sexualizatiion, and plenty of it. Sound: 1/10 The soundtrack sounds more fitting to something like Non Non Biyori rather than something…

As a great fan of the original Irresponsible Captain Tylor and appreciator of short anime, I can safely say: This crap stain just don't know which public it was made for. Is it for the fans of the original series? Well, ICT aired in 1993. I was born in 1993, and watched the series in 2015. I am 25 years old. Why in the world would someone like me enjoy a series that's just a very very poor attempt to make a children's series? Not even a kid would find this funny. Now. Imagine the people who watched ICT in the original airing. These people are probably 30-40 years old now. This isn't adult humor - they would sleep. And isn't children's humor either. It's not funny to anyone. What about the original characters? Would a long-term fan be happy to see them again? Well... They just aren't he…

I actually wanted this to come out...I was excited for this...what was I thinking? Remember when in the original, after Tylor left to do something for a bit, he came back, celebrating by telling the crew to set sail while he danced with confetti and a paper fan and shit? I wish the franchise came back in a similar fashion. Instead, it's like the franchise woke up from a cryogenic sleeping chamber and realized that it was tired and uncomfortable and subsequently made a sad face instead. It's disheartening and makes us feel like this was pointless, especially as a fan of the original Musekinin Kanchou Tylor. So, what exactly happened here to spoil what was supposed to be a fun return for the franchise? Well, let's find out, shall we? This anime doesn't understand the structure of a joke.…
