Decent hentai that probably had a lot more oof to it when it premiered nearly two decades ago in 2002.
For the time, this would likely be one of my top hentai.
If you're looking for a hentai that dives right into the sex, this is definitely not the one for you. It is very slow, does it's best with trying to throw in some character development, and plays into the rape fetish genre which it hits pretty well.
Really hard to write reviews on anime that came out so long ago and had much lower budgets and technological disadvantages as opposed to their more modern counterparts.
If you are into rape, watching a woman repulse at the idea of giving into hooligans, but then slowly realize she wants nothing more than to be a slut/slave for cock, this is an anime that you might take a liking to.

So much wasted potential in one anime.

And how much do they talk anyway?That is what they were doing the most in the 1st 2 episodes.
I like how she was fighting,kicking and biting and then at the end they ruined her character by letting her submit to these lowlives.

Decent animation / art. Don't expect Bible Black level detail or fluidity, but Depravity is still one of the better h-animes around; it doesn't have many obvious repeating frames and the camera angles are varying and interesting. If Depravity was remade today, I'd expect the style would be a lot better.
SOUND
The Japanese audio is realistic and accurate. Yuki-Lin does a great job with Kiriko. I can't say the same for the English dub. The SFX and BGM are the same quality as the Japanese audio, nothing too wacky or out-of-place. The sound quality itself is excellent, no noticeable static or other noise; it's very clear. The "OP" comes off as pensive and the BGM throughout the entire h-anime is ominous. The ED is surprisingly upbeat and catchy.
