In my opinion this is the weakest season of MHA so far. Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season And here we come to the point where MHA, unfortunately, announces its downfall. Here the viewer again becomes terribly aware of how generic this series actually is and how little value is placed on variety and creativity. -Don't get me wrong, I'm still a big fan of the series and love every single episode, but you can't ignore something like this. This season begins with a training trip into the wilderness, so that the students of classes A and B, find out their own strengths and try to compensate for their weaknesses. But the villains know about this excursion and ambush them, resulting in a (not) epic battle. Perhaps it was better in the manga, but in the anime, its pacing was very slow and lacke…

This season is a great example of how a show with potential could rapidly descend to mediocrity, and this is coming from someone who enjoyed the first 2 seasons. The writing this season has been so bad, that it’s impossible for me to review it without dissecting just how bad every part of this season was, so spoiler warning. Anyone who hasn’t already seen this season, stay away from this review. We start off with a mini training arc, continuing this show’s incredibly repetitive formula of training arc – villain attack – tournament arc – villain attack – training arc – villain attack. Then we’re reminded of one of the show’s weakest points, the villains, they’re just so hilariously incompetent, they always lose, and they’re painfully dumb. Shigaraki, who after his confrontation with Deku l…

My hero academia, one of modern big three. I absolutely loved the first 2 seasons. But S3, for me was a LETDOWN, it had some epic and good moments but as a whole it was a disappointment. • S1 we had the premise of the show, the MC got developed, while S2 developed some other characters including the bad guys, introduced some more. And S2 of it doesn’t disappoint us at all. It got even better than S1. • S3 felt repetitive, [training /exam arc+ villains attacking them]. Up to S2 it was not a problem but S3 following the same formula was kind of lazy and repetitive. There were some shounen clichés in this season, which the previous season avoided, the villains were blunt compared to other seasons, ALL FOR ONE was a disappointment from what the hype he had. Still enjoyed the fight the fight b…

The third season of the My Hero Academia anime series was produced by Bones and directed by Kenji Nagasaki. Like the rest of the series, it adapts Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga from the rest of the eighth volume through the beginning of the 14th volume over 25 episodes and follows the adventures of Izuku Midoriya. The third season ran from April 7[1][2] to September 29, 2018 on ytv in Japan. Toho released the season on DVD and Blu-Ray in eight compilations, each containing two to four episodes, between July 18, 2018, and February 13, 2019. Funimation licensed the season for an English-language release in North America and released the first compilation on May 7, 2019. Their adaptation premiered on Adult Swim's Toonami block on March 3, 2019.[3] Four pieces of theme music are u…

I really enjoyed the first two seasons of this show. But the characters and story have failed to remain interesting, so I will not be keeping up with it anymore. It is so clearly drawing out the story as long as it possibly can so the show can run for as long as possible. This season peeked dramatically half-way through, with a tired "win by punching harder" fight. And the rest of the season was pretty dull. Ultimately Another Forgettable Anime. What else do I have to say? In the first two seasons I fell in love with the characters and the setting, but this season failed to deliver drama, romance, or comedy. Although it did have a few new concepts I enjoyed.

This is actually my very first review so I'll try to be proper in terms of critique. (Very Light Spoilers!!) Boku No Hero Academia is one of those animes that I actually consider as mediocre regarding on how generic it is but at the same time I hate it because of how it leaves out many things in terms of characters, plot etc. and that will be explained in this review ⋆Story- 4⋆ The Plot of this season was based on the Licenses that they were supposed to be receiving through training in the woods and actually applying for the exam. Compared to Season 2, it wasn't done extremely well considering that the beginning arc was rushed and went straight to the actual fight within 5 episodes or so, Compared to the U.A sports carnival Arc where they took the time in order to finish it and its end…

I dont want to lose more time on this anime. Combat have no animation. pretty much boring combat except the tech behind and the strat. The worst thing about this anime is the 15 minutes episode for 24 minutes. They SPAM AND SPAM those names and abilities each fucking minute. Annoying af after 3 season. NO NEED TO TELL ME WHAT SHE LIKES SINCE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FILL THE 24MINS. Oh and yes I know what I watched last week im I dont need 3minutes of the past episode. We all know pop music. We all know trash artist like Nicki Minaj without talent. This anime is pop. Made for kids so who needs art and a vision.

(SPOILER WARNING FOR HUNTER X HUNTER, FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, AND NARUTO + SHIPPUDEN) Season 3 is bad. It's the point where you finally realize that all the potential the earlier seasons flashed was no more than just that: unrealized potential. And all the problems with the writing weren’t blips, they become a constant problem that deflates the tension and drama in every arc. Every time Deku we’re told Deku is risking his body only for him to be fine after a day in the hospital, every time a villain is hyped up only for them to lose while barely accomplishing anything, every time stakes are established and then retreated from immediately. It all starts to add up. Decline of Visuals 1 Now, one thing that’s important to note is that the decline of the MHA anime is not entirely due to Horiko…

I liked boku no hero season 1 and 2 and looked forward to season 3 with great enthusiasm, but to my surprise when I go through chapter 6 or so the fight between deku and muscle I notice something strange that this is not so exciting and epic as I thought it would be, I continue to see, useless, foolish villains, then the strongest of all appears but is easily defeated, the story is super repetitive, then started school matters super boring, unfortunate, the fight of deku vs bakugo me I like it not so much for the reason of it but for the choreography, in general very disappointed, this is a roller coaster, the story seems to go nowhere. the animation is fine and the music too, conclusion : I expected more from this series, but it is what it is, a school series disguised as superheores.…

Have you ever liked an anime's characters so much you wished they got out of the dreadful story they are involved in? Well, BNHA is this case. Why does a season 2 or a season 3 always get more praise than season 1? That's because people who already saw the awful plot already dropped the series and the only ones remaining are the ones who praise it a lot. But why do i keep watching it even though i almost gave Season 1 a 5? Well, because people told me Season 2 was a "masterpiece". I decided to give it another chance and I was not disappointed. Midoriya's plot armor had disappeared for a time being and the anime focused on other great characters (such as Todoroki and Ochako). As a matter of fact, I decided to give Season 3 a go. Season 3 is the worst season of BNHA, and it's not hard t…

Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season Review Story (9/10) Great More Specifically (9.25/10) Great The pacing and the story for this season of Boku no Hero Academia I felt was great, everything by Studio Bones was adapted either nigh perfectly or was a better execution of a scene than it's manga counter part which is was is ideal. My only nitpick is the filler that they tried to inject into the season, I did not care for the episodes as I felt it was just fluff that honestly was not needed. One can say "oh it didn't hurt the overall season though" and to that I say "I didn't hurt the overall season FOR YOU" for me if didn't make overall season better then leave it out. There was enough manga content to adapt for them not to have to put in said episodes regardless if it was a small amount or no…

The first cour was amazing. The fights and the story were top tier. Bones did a great job in making emotional scenes. The buildup and context made the fights 100% better. The second cour fell. Most of the story was boring, with 1 episode of filler. The scenes just didn't live up to the 1st cour. Some characters were just plain annoying. The characters made this story feel amazing. The fights were brilliant because of the characters. Without the character's backround, the fights would just be boring. Bones did an excellent job with animation this season. The fights were full of fluid movement. You can easily tell Bones gave extra effort for this show. The sound was amazing, especially at crucial moments. The sound alone can change your emotions while watching.

I want to keep this review as precise and quick as possible. Story 9/10: It's a cliche plot, a kid with no power inherit power from the strongest hero and becomes the number 1 himself. But Horikoshi's able to turn such a simple concept into something so different, so entertaining, so unique. And it's all thanks to its great characters. Art 10/10: This is on a personal preference. I personally like the art and I think it's great. Also the characters all have memorable designs. They're the type that's hard to forget once you see their appearances/costumes. Also, the girls are cute. Sound 10/10: The OSTs this season mannnn!!! Lit AF!!! Also the ED "Long Happy Philia" is my fav one so far from bnha. Character 9/10: Bnha has a vast variety of distinctive, memorable, and unique characters, an…

My Hero Academia has done something that sets it apart from all other anime in the Shonen arena. The episodes excel in every category. It is written well in that there are good reasons provided for why characters act the way they do. Fight episodes contain engaging animations as well as purposeful dialog. The animation style itself is also enjoyable. They take advantage of crisper animations while retaining the anime feel. My one concern is that the writers made the My Hero Academia universe large enough to keep the series going for years to come! Right now it seems pretty focused on one main villain (and I don't expect it will be a show like Bleach that will open up entirely new words that come out of no-where to add seasons worth of content). I hope the show doesn't end when the known v…

Ya know. I don't think words do this show justice. There's something so special about My Hero Academia for me that it's almost intangible. This season has been incredible. So many amazing moments. Being a manga reader gives you a sort of special insight into how things will go sure, but seeing it animated and acted and with all the music and everything is a whole different experience in my eyes. Going into this season, knowing what would happen, I knew it was going to be great given the material, but I think I might have dominated Bones a bit on just how good it'd be. Cause this season raised the bar and then some. Really elevated the whole thing. The manga was already a high bar but they some how went beyond that, I think Studio Bones is the real embodiment of Plus Ultra!! They deserve a…

STORY - 8 ART - 9 SOUND - 9 CHARACTER - 9 ENJOYMENT - 9 Plus Ultra, the Latin phrase we've come to love ever since the epic final showdown on the first season of Boku no Hero Academia. Meaning to go further beyond, it encapsulates the very definition of what Season 3 is all about. How far can the society of Heroes vs Villains run for without causing major destruction? What does it take to ensure protection, stability, and peace among a changing world full of Quirks? The story wrestles these questions solidly and seeks just how much can heroism triumph against those who wants to crumble society. Upon the villains' ambush, justice treads over a dangerous tightrope. When more menacing personalities and powers arrive on the doorstep, the suspenseful atmosphere becomes a trigger that sends ou…

Before this, I would recommend reading my reviews of the first two seasons of Boku no Hero Academia. Many details that explain my opinion on this series in a broader sense are already covered there. This season picks up where the previous season left off, with the students preparing to go to an inevitably doomed summer training camp. The plot takes a much darker tone this season, with The League of Villains newly-emboldened by Stain's actions in season 2, and full of fresh faces. The first arc of this season gives the new villains a chance to show off what they're made of, and set up the league as a more immediate, tangible threat. Without spoiling too much, the following arc goes even further into developing The League of Villains, finally introducing their leader and revealing his true…

"I want to win like All Might. No matter what anyone says, that will never change!" - Katsuki Bakugou What does it mean to be a "hero"? Is it someone who saves those in need? Someone who defeats all the bad guys? Someone who brings good things to the lives of others? All of these? Or maybe something entirely different? Maybe it's all a case of perspective. But what does it mean to be "the Greatest Hero"? ---Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season--- Story: (9) - Art: (9) - Sound: (9.5) - Character: (10) - Enjoyment: (10) Introduction: In July of 2014 a new series appeared on the pages of Weekly Shounen Jump titled "Boku no Hero Academia" (Eng: My Hero Academia). Superhero stories feels like it’s been populating the entertainment industry from these recent years. Marvel and DC successfully adapted many of these superhero tales with huge fanbases. The CW Network have aired shows with a large following like The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. My Hero Academia always reminds me that it has a place with its own set of superheroes and villains. With that in mind, I was pretty ecstatic about the return of My Hero Academia. The third season does a bit of recapping at first to get viewers comfortable with its characters, story setting, and general concepts. As someone who has been following both the anime and manga, I knew what was to expect as the series is structured with story arcs. From the first half of the show, we follow Class 1-A…
