Before watching this, know that this is a gag comedy based on a manhua, comprised of short 3-5 minute episodes and lots of 4th wall breaks. So if you're here for heavy plot and character development you should look elsewhere. But if this sounds like something up your alley, then read ahead. This donghua (chinese anime) is quite enjoyable, and it doesn't need the criteria of typical plot/character-focus anime to work. There's not a lot of action, and the action that does occur is mostly for laughs. This is more Slice of Life in a historical/martial arts setting featuring the daily shenanigans of a senior disciple who just wants to live peacefully as a NPC.
