AniWorthSuper Dragon Ball Heroes

Introduction
In May 2018, V-Jump announced the promotional anime for Dragon Ball Heroes, a Japanese arcade and trading card game. The video game has been adapted to a Nintendo Switch port for western audiences, whilst the card game is released under the name "Dragon Ball Super TCG" and is combined with the other card game of the same name in japan. The anime is expected to be short and it is not expected to broadcast on TV. It has adapted the game's Prison Planet Arc, as long as the manga original arc "Big Bang Mission" and "Ultra God Misson", also fully detailed in the Heroes manga published in Saikyou Jump, although under 2 separate canons. They have never been published officially in English. The first episode debuted July 1, 2018 at Aeon Lake Town.

One of the worst (if not the worst) Dragon Ball productions.
This anime is basically a spin-off based on a promotional manga which, in turn, serves as a complement to a game of the same name. Being a promotional anime, it was expected that it wouldn't have the same quality as a main production of the franchise. Even so, the result managed to be worse than I imagined.
The story idea might work within a game, where the main focus is on battles and the narrative serves only as a backdrop. However, as an anime, it simply doesn't work. The plot is full of holes, script conveniences, and poorly explained power escalations. This is very much non-canon and completely made to promote the card game of the same name. That being said, I loved this show. The show is NOT good in the normal sense. It's basically Dragon Ball fanfiction. Do you want to see SS3 Future Trunks fight SS4 Goku? How about SS4 Bardock against Ultra Instinct Goku? If you want to watch something that has alot of DB 'what if's then give this a look. Don't expect anything tho. Also don't bother with the last 6 episodes, I think it's called "Meteor Mission". They cheaped out after the card game was discontinued and made those episodes in the in game engine.. It's atrocious and unwatchable.
