Watching Flower & Snake I am sad to say I kept saying to myself "this woman deserves what is coming to her". I despise when people just let bad things happen to them without trying to fight back. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) by the end I started to feel bad for Shizuko, but honestly I still didn't like or care about her. This film is full of all kinds of people who are just unpleasant and rotten to the core, there really is no hero or good guy to be found anywhere, and its hard to enjoy a series that has no one to root for or care about.
