AniWorthAmazing Stranger

Introduction
Bouida Haruto, a hardcore otaku with no interest in 3D (real) women, once appreciated figures from afar, accepting that "if you get into them, there's no turning back." However, when Nona, a character he loved from an anime called "Girls→Planetary Investigation" had a figure of her released, he ended up purchasing it. And then that night, the figure of Nona somehow came to life, and a couple-like lifestyle between man and toy began.

Choukadou Girl ⅙, a short anime with 12-minute episodes, featuring an original concept for a slice of life.
Story: 5
The story stems from an original concept where anime and video game figures come to life to become part of the protagonist's harem, and from there, their daily adventures unfold. Being a slice of life, there is no real plot progression other than new heroines joining the harem. The comedy felt almost non-existent to me. For an anime that only lasts 12 minutes per episode, at some point, the story made every single episode feel eternal and boring.
Characters: 6
The character design is good; each character adapts their personality and clothes based on the context of their own universe, and each has their "unique" personality. I guess my only problem is that being "unique" do…

Recommendation: You can skip this one.
I wanted to like this series. It's a cute concept, it has some funny parts, and I liked Nona and some of the other girls. Unfortunately, there's really not much else to recommend about it. The plot is pointless, dumb, and needlessly convoluted for a short romcom series. The characters are animated with a mix of hand-drawn and CGI, and the CGI faces are firmly in uncanny valley creepiness territory. The main character, Haruto, is pretty unlikable and it devolves into generic harem bullshit pretty fast. It's a real waste.
The initial premise of a figurine girl with the personality and memories of her character from a sci fi anime exploring the human world at 1/6th scale is fun, but it only manages about 2 episodes of that before discarding the concept…

Really interesting premise but I the short episode length works against it leading a lot of episodes to feel rushed, there's episode where he gets stuck in a game, I think given more time it could have been a fun episode but he's freed not long after. The ending was a bit confusing and I'm still not sure what really happened.
The characters were entertaining enough but they didn't really develop too much. This show has promise but a premise like this needs time to breathe. I still enjoyed and I had a good laugh, and really that's all that matters in the end.
