Kingdom Season 3

Kingdom Season 3

Introduction

Following the successful Sanyou campaign, the Qin army, including 1,000-Man Commander Xin, inches ever closer to fulfilling King Ying Zheng's dream of unifying China. With a major geographical foothold in the state of Wei now under its control, Qin sets its sights eastward toward the remaining warring states. Meanwhile Li Mu—an unparalleled strategist and the newly appointed prime minister of the state of Zhao—has taken advantage of Zhao's temporary truce with Qin to negotiate with the other states without interruption. Seemingly without warning, Ying Zheng receives news that armies from the states of Chu, Zhao, Wei, Han, Yan, and Qi have crossed into Qin territory. Realizing too late the purpose behind Li Mu's truce with Qin, Zheng quickly gathers his advisors to devise a plan to address the six-state coalition army on their doorstep. For the first time in history, the state of Qin faces complete destruction and must use every resource and strategy at their disposal to prevent themselves from being wiped off the map. Absolutely fucking fantastic season and theee bessttt out of all that I have seen - the stakes were absolutely mental and so damn high and the suspense during the coalition war was edge of the seat stuff - each fight each side every time a battle started it genuinely had me giving a standing ovation - watching this for the first time will be an experience I never forget - the ost and everything was just perfect and I had goosebumps the entire way - seeing all the generals come together and then the entirety remaining states of china all come together to take down Qin genuinely gave the feeling that they stood no chance - unforgettable experiance

The third season of Kingdom is a massive step up from the first two seasons, especially in terms of animation quality. While Seasons 1 and 2 were often criticized for their heavy use of CGI and stiff visuals, Season 3 finally delivers smoother animation, improved character designs, and far more impactful battle scenes. No more weird "Game cutscene" animation, and the quality of the animation is high like when you order something in a fancy restaurant. Animation = 9/10 The story for this arc is also great, and one could say that it's one of the best arc of the entire season. Outta nowhere, and 6 kingdom just go invading 1 kingdom, and you can feel the thrilling vibe. Key characters are pushed to their limits, alliances are tested, and the stakes feel higher than ever before. The arc balanc…

Season 3 of Kingdom is EPIC and it will give you goosebumps! It is a massive improvement compared to the first two seasons. The first two seasons did not wow me but this one did and I'm happy I stuck through to see this border-line masterpiece. Not many anime can create a magnificent story like this one. This season has much more detail and improvement in the animation. Even the first episode started strong and the detailed animations and facial expressions adds more depth to the story. What I really liked about this season in partifcular is that it made the other seasons meaningful. Everything that the characters experienced in the first two seasons were made relevant and they all made the characters grow. The story is very good. Every information revealed and plot point seems carefully…

To preface things: I'm not a hater, I love kingdom but this is in the top 50 anime, this season is all but unwatchable and coming from reading the Manga with its beautiful panels is truly horrifying. I'm glad the show is doing well and I'll take any adaptation but anyone reviewing this and not admitting that this show IS WORSE THAN BERSERK 2016 can't be trusted. The animation is so abysmal I don't know what shoestring budget they had for this but it's so bad, that combined with the rampant disgusting cgi that look worse than a still pane and just butchering of the great framing from the Manga hurts to watch. I was only able to get through by having the dub up while I did other things. It's as painful as going from miuras incredible panels to berserk 2016, there's just nothing left of what…

" How can you have a war on terrorism when war itself is terrorism? " - An epic Soldier War is EPIC. Going beyond its pain, suffering, bloodshed, massacres, piles of death, slayers, and the birth of killers. We see the absolute pinnacle of human bodies to attain victory over blood relatives in this animal empire. When hands were not good enough, we brought blades; when they weren't good enough, then spears and shields, and now... we kill without even getting ever in contact. This is THE BEST SEASON OF KINGDOM. A to the bloody Z, they dropped 10'er each and every episode and slapped our faces with their golden sandals, and fed us diamonds later to die luxuriously. Absolute pinnacle-worthy war animation and execution of the mangaka's panel works. And now, the most important point, THE CG…

Every so often you come across an Anime that is so Good you do not want to stop watching, Maybe one or two a Year, sometimes none at all. This 3rd Season of Kingdom is definitely one of those, it is even better than the 2 previous ones. All the Characters have a chance to shine in this, especially the Generals who are portrayed as twice the size of normal soldiers. Depending which Country you come from there is no good or bad sides, even the opposite characters are given their special moments. The Tactical parts of this War were exceptional, brilliant minds pitted against each other, trying to bring down the opposition. He Liao Diao ( Ten ) is becoming one who will be great in the future, she is also looking more Feminine after hiding her Sexuality from those closest to her, for obvious re…

I haven't seen such an intense anime season since Attack on Titan season 1. Kingdom returns after a long time but it comes with massive changes which eventually made the season a masterpiece. The animation moved to a new studio and they used traditional 2d animation rather than CGI which is a huge change. The character designs are so refreshing and lively. They brought Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto to compose the music for the series. The same composers are responsible for Attack on Titan epic soundtracks. And you can totally feel the music change and how it impacts the story and scenes to a great extent. Fortunately, the third season adapts the coalition invasion arc which is one of the best arcs ever written. And even though, the adaption lacks in some aspects, it's still th…

Honestly so good, if you like tactical war, or even war and historical anime in general this is a must watch for those facts alone. When you through in let the characters and improved graphics and marvelous story you get a 10/10. Xin's growth is so good and the first 3 seasons really do a great job of depicting it. This show is very bingeworthy, to be honest I tried watching kingdom when it first came out. I failed. I get a few episodes in I think to the poison villian at the old mountain people temple place and I just stopped, and then forgot about it for awhile then when season 3 came out I was like damn this looks dope, so I binged, and cut up about half way through season 3 airing and I finished it week by week. The point being is that some anime are binge worthy but are not so good…

Season 3 of Kingdom is, in my opinion, a defining moment for the anime as a whole. Whether it is the animation, music, or the already incredible story line, Season 3 out does the seasons that came before it which is why I felt compelled to write this review. Art style and Animation 8 It goes without saying: the art style and animation for season 3 has vastly improved over its predecessors. The use of computer animation has almost vanished this time around to the point you barely notice its use. The character design has slightly been bumped up from the previous season but it’s the animation that has truly gone through a huge transformation and I’m certainly hopeful things will get even better for the next season…which has already started. Story 8.5 The story line for Kingdom has trul…

Kingdom 3rd Season Review Story (10/10) Masterpiece The story for Kingdom Season 3 (minus the last 3 or so episodes) main purpose was to adapt (at the time it was released) the best arc in the Kingdom manga and one of the best arcs in manga period, that is if you ask manga readers who are or were in the know during that time. So this adaptation had to massive shoes to fill to say the least. I feel in regards to adapting the source material of the Coalition Arc of the Kingdom manga, it was done justice surprisingly. Every moment I felt from a story standpoint was more so or less 1-1 to it. Although if I am missing anything, because it's been quite a while since I've read it Kingdom in general on top of the fact that Kingdom Season 3 went on a year hiatus because of COVID and also on top…

I want to start by saying, this is one of my favorite anime so I apologize in advance for my bias. Story: 8 In my opinion, the story was better than in the previous seasons. It focused more on different characters and events whilst also showing quite a lot of Xin. The suspense of the whole war, individual battles, and duels kept me on the edge of my seat. Even though it might not have been entirely historically accurate, I still have to praise it for trying to incorporate real history and real people and making the romance of war even more captivating. Characters: 9 All of the important characters had their chance to shine on the screen. It wasn’t all about a few characters but rather a whole bunch of them. It felt like each of these characters played a big role which made the dynami…

KINGDOM is back as a 3rd season, with its 'SPINE CHILLING' moments! (You feel the same, right!) [Li Mu] has returned with his [coalition army] with the neighbor nations to attack [Qin]. The season is focused on this war, and how (if) Qin fight this war when it's at such a huge disadvantage! ----- What will happen to XIN's goal of becoming the greatest general? I've watched all the 26 episodes and enjoyed every bit of it. *NOTE : The review contains spoilers First Things First : - The art is just the same, and I didn't notice any change in animation quality. - I like XIN as a protagonist from season 1. He is just as reckless as ever, and kind, and 'Baka'. - The ED song is just so Epic with its animation! - Forget about story. It's about war, and I like watching Brutes! That said,…
