GPDonghua
This donghua is an adaptation of a novel. I will review it both as an independent work and as an adaptation; however, I have not done a serious read of the novel, but I have read the manhua (which is an adaptation very closly following the original novel), so I will do some manhua comparisons as opposed to novel comparisons.
General Plot: During a training exercise, Wang Sheng (our MC) meets an unusual situation and is isekaied to an ancient cultivation world with his deployment equipment. He lands in a sticky situation, forced to kill an assailant and is then introduced to the world of cultivation. So begins Wang Sheng's integration into the cultivation world and journey as a cultivator in this new world.
The premise of this donghua is certainly interesting. There are currently quite a…

Yuan Long is a Chinese donghua where MC, a chinese infantryman isekais in the middle of a sky dive into an Ancient Chinese world that uses qi and cultivation. Wang Shen, becomes a target of a large family when he kills the young master of that family and claims to be the Fiance of the girl he just met which stirs trouble among the noble families. The noble families order the couple to be captured or killed which pisses off Wang Shen to the point of using his military combat prowess on his enemies.
Story: 8/10
The beginning is eye catching and straight to the point, killing smallfry opponents above Wang Shen's league using the power of modern firearm and military tactics. All while slowing progressing romance between him and his 'fake' love interest. His battle ready MRE attracts a power…

The initial story premise was good. A soldier in a isekai world with his advanced AI based tool which sounds really interesting. A mix of guns and magic was an interesting concept. Even the story of initial episodes was kind of entertaining to watch. But by the end everything falls apart. Last few episodes were just forced deaths. Barely 1-2 arc is finished, but most of the important characters introduced are all dead. It's very disappointing. The ending is not conclusive and is made in a way for future sequel. The entire thing went from very good to average by the end.
The CGI is better than average Chinese anime. Though don't expect too much.
Characters were average to mediocre (The protagonist was kind of interesting). Character development (other than protagonist) is very poor. Worl…

Pretty good as an action series. ARMY SOLDIER gets ISEKAI into historical China cultivation world with his modern warfare weapons. The medieval guys using Chi/spirit power tries to fight him and army guy kills with bullets LOL The 3D was great with this theme because it made the action cool, authentic.
Episode 1 was hype when he saves the girl like a BOSS and unwittingly becomes her fiancé by shooting the asshole from a rival family who was starting shit with him, gun vs magic, guess who wins? lol and oh it was self-defense.
There was a flaw in the story though. When army guy took all the blame for the killings and had to run, the girl strangely still stayed with her own family even though they are scum like the rival families, and it was army guy that protected her the whole time. They…
