Detective Conan Movies Rewatch Before Watching Movie 26: Movie 12 Similar to movie 11, movie 12 isn't for everyone. Whereas movie 11's subject was more on the childish side, movie 12's subject was more on the "you either like it or don't" side. I enjoy classical music, so this movie was enjoyable to watch and listen. Furthermore, movie 12 gave us something rare, an original character that had a significant role in the movie. Akiba Reiko, while not exactly unique in personality, was a likable character who had a good rapport with Conan. Her partnership and interactions with Conan carried much of the movie, and had the movie failed to make Reiko a likable character, this movie would have been average. The case presented here was decent, but it lacked cleverness. In addition, as mentioned be…

In terms of popularity, Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear pretty much gets the short end of the stick. Would people want to watch a movie with Conan confronting the Black Organization or a movie with Conan attending a concert that happens to be rigged with bombs? Doesn't sound that appealing, huh? Regardless, Full Score of Fear is a solid, well-made Detective Conan movie that is worth viewers' time. Following a bombing incident at a music school, Conan must protect the lead singer from the perpetrator before the big performance at a grand opera. While this movie's premise is basic, it still makes it work with smooth pacing and little moments of character in the cast. The lead singer, Reiko, is interesting enough to work as a supporting character and the subplot with Ran and Shinichi is…

The classical music was beautiful and the story itself had potential but the movement was slow and altogether it was boring and hard to stay awake for. The experience was vastly different from the anime and the earlier movies were the stories were interesting and they held your attention throughout the entire hour and a half.

Every Detective Conan movie has its own pros and cons. One movie can leave a negative or positive impact on you depending on the contents of it. However, combining all sixteen movies of Detective Conan will most likely create an overall masterpiece. The reason for this is because DC does not just use mystery as its ONLY genre, a multitude of different genres such as romance, adventure, and perhaps even comedy are found within. Another thing to point out is that each DC movie concentrates on a certain theme such as video games, architecture, and sports. On with the review~ Story: As I have mentioned before each DC movie contains a certain theme to it. The last movie, for example, contained a theme pertaining to pirates, while this movie contains a theme relating to classical music which h…

This movie was amazingly dreadfull, totally different from the manga and anime series. The story has potential, but everything goes so slowly and then there is the amount of classical music. Seriously, I don't have anything against classical music, but in this movie it is brought so boringly and unfitting. I rather go to a theater when I want to hear some good classics, instead of aspecting it in a Conan movie. So, I give the whole movie a 4 and the stories potential a 7.
