My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me!

My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me!

Introduction

Akiteru Ooboshi lives by one principle—efficiency above all. As the producer of the 05th Floor Alliance, a small game development circle composed of his fellow apartment tenants, he oversees the release of their latest title, The Night the Black Goat Screamed, which unexpectedly surpasses a million downloads. Thus, to secure the circle's future and steer their next projects toward even greater success, Akiteru turns to Honeyplace Works, a major company run by his uncle, Makoto Tsukinomori. However, his uncle presents an unusual condition before accepting their partnership: Akiteru must pose as the boyfriend of his cousin, Mashiro. Seeing no reason to refuse—after all, it is the most efficient solution—Akiteru agrees for the sake of his team. Unfortunately, adding to his troubles is Iroha Kohinata, the younger sister of his fellow developer and best friend, Ozuma. A relentless tease, Iroha takes special pleasure in breaking Akiteru's composure. Yet as the lines between work, school, and personal life begin to blur, Akiteru finds himself entangled between two girls who might just as well decide his entire future. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

The first couple of episodes was good qs the typical love school life anime but then there is no progress in the story and the plot changed once from one of the fmc and he was supposed to be a fake bf but there is no progress there and even with the main fmc we dont see anything its just here playing and giving some fan service and bully and tease him but its overr bullying like she had a lot of chances to at least make him get some wrong ideas it was till the last episode and she even teased him with it

Damn, this anime title is way too long. I’ll just call it Imouza. 😅 Romcom. School. As usual—there’s a guy, there are girls, and of course… drama. 😅 So the story is about this guy (our MC) who keeps getting teased and bothered by his friend’s little sister. Why does she keep bothering him? Well… you tell me. 😏 But like most romcom MCs, this guy is completely clueless and still doesn’t realize anything. Our MC is actually pretty serious about his future. He gathers several people at school to create a game/app because he wants to join his uncle’s big game company. But even though the game made by him and his team turns out successful, his uncle still doesn’t accept him right away. There’s one more condition. Since his cousin is going to transfer to his school, his uncle asks him to becom…

Even though many people dislike the dense MC and harem aspects, I honestly enjoyed the anime a lot. Yes, the protagonist can sometimes be frustratingly oblivious, and at times it follows the same misunderstandings and romantic clichés that many harem series use. But despite that, the show’s charm easily outweighs those flaws for me. What I enjoyed the most was the teasing and the chemistry between the characters. The interactions felt fun and entertaining, especially the cute and awkward ways the girls tried to hide or cover up their confessions. Those small moments made the romance feel more genuine and wholesome rather than overly dramatic. I also liked the character development throughout the series. The characters gradually became more expressive about their feelings, and their relat…

My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me! is a fun, light romcom even if it doesn’t really stand out from the crowd. It sticks to classic tropes like teasing, awkward moments, and slow burn romance, but it’s still easy and enjoyable to watch. The biggest highlight is definitely the character chemistry. The interactions between the MC and the “friend’s little sister” are super playful sometimes annoying, but in a funny way. There are a lot of simple moments that still manage to make you smile or laugh. That said, the story can feel pretty predictable. It doesn’t really take risks and mostly follows the usual romcom formula. Some side characters also don’t get much depth, so a few moments don’t hit as hard as they could. Animation wise, it’s just decent not bad, but nothing special eith…

This show is very meh it’s listed as a romance and there’s hardly any the closest you get is a little bit of teasing and that’s about it from what I gathered there was a bit about making a video game but I don’t think much of it or I completely missed it and then it’s swapped into doing a play so I missed something or it’s just very badly done so I can’t say much about it because maybe I wasn’t paying attention But yeah, I feel like they tried to do too much with not as much episodes but it was meh like I made it to the end, but it wasn’t much to talk about you probably enjoy it as a casual watch but if you’re looking for a something more generic you’re probably best looking for something else 6/10 listed as fine because it was fine but I would say it’s a 5

This was a fun ride, and I'd watch s2 if ti comes out. I liked all the characters, but I think I've watched too many anime like this. At this point, I get upset when there is no movement between the first and last episode. I did not watch this thinking its a slice of life so its an annoying feeling here at the end. I don't like the MC either — somehow good at everything yet super oblivious only for romance. The art and animation was good though, no complaints. Not sure why MAL is asking me to write more lines to fill this review. I just want to use it to log my own opinions of the show, not necessarily to share with others.

Absolutely horrendous. Boring, and honestly felt like a cheap knockoff of Saekano. There were way too many sexual jokes, to the point where it became exhausting rather than funny. I was initially interested because I expected it to be a solid comedy anime. When the plot started to resemble Saekano—with a group coming together to create a game—I actually got invested, especially since it also uses the fake-couple trope, which I usually enjoy. Unfortunately, the execution was extremely weak and nowhere near the level of Saekano. The romance was confusing and frankly very annoying. It lacked clarity and emotional buildup, making it hard to care about any of the relationships. The comedy also failed to land for me; most of it relied heavily on sexual jokes and fanservice rather than genuinel…

My issue with this anime isn’t that it’s packed with overused clichés you can find pretty much anywhere in the medium. Clichés aren’t inherently bad, and they’re in basically every anime in this genre. The problem is that every single one of these elements is something I’ve already seen done elsewhere. Nothing about it feels particularly unique or memorable, aside from a genuinely great and catchy opening and some solid animation. The characters don’t stand out at all, and their interactions feel forced, sometimes even unnatural, especially between the protagonist and his two main potential love interests. As I kept watching, I couldn’t help thinking, “they pulled this straight out of that anime,” or “this part is exactly like that other anime,” and that brings me back to what I said at…

Well, I really liked the anime. At first, I didn't have much faith in it because of the animation, since it's one of my favorite novels and I was a little scared, but the result wasn't so bad after all, and I'm glad about that. At first, I didn't like seeing so many people comparing Iroha-chan to Himari from Danjo, but luckily it seems that everyone reconsidered. If you want to know what happens next, I recommend reading volume 2 of the novel for more details that won't disappoint you. Iroha is a super cute and sexy heroine who secretly loves our protagonist, and although she seems to annoy him, she would actually do anything for Aki and supports him in everything. She may be annoying, but deep down she's a godsend. As for Mahiro, I have to say that I was able to connect or empathize with…

Waiter, waiter! More nothing burger please! This show is insulting, it has nothing to offer while giving off the false hope it does. It starts off like any other 'okay' romance anime with a tease-dere (idk the correct terminology) who endlessly teases the MC, often sexually, while also kinda being the fan service character, then also there's a tsundere. But after that it's not moving anywhere, you get introduced to the characters, their dynamic, their feelings and intentions and that's it, you won't get any progression for the rest of the show. Instead you get uninteresting subplots that add nothing to the story or characters most of the time. There are a few good highlights among these subplots but it doesn't make up for this dumpster fire. In itself, the characters are fine and I do th…

Many decided to gloss over this anime as it reminded them too much of "can a boy/girl friendship survive", but those who checked it out knew that this anime is anything but that infuriating story. While some elements are similar this is very mild love story that can be indeed enjoyable. Animation and sound: they are alright. Animation is pretty average, not bad and not good but well enough that it's passable. Music is average with the exception of OP which not only has catchy song but also has tons of cultural references. Overall: animation and music are fine and the OP is great. Characters: Akiteru is serious high school boy that decided to invest all time he has into improving himself and securing good future. Contrary to him Iroha is his best friend little sister whose favorite past…

My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me! - Umm, hello? What kind of whiplash is this nonsense rom-com of a joke? I have a very serious question to ask, not just lovers of the rom-com genre, but anyone and everyone in general: "When is the point that something is too much to bear, that it cleaves into the territory of love and hate?" I'll say that again: WHEN does it feel like you've known a genre well enough to come to love it, and then something comes along to screw you with a formula that makes you feel contrived to say, "Hey, something's different here!"? This is my gut feeling when it comes to Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai, a.k.a. My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me!, coming from someone with a name you'd be very familiar with because of its rather taboo topic tha…

My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me! sounds like the type of show where 'if you've seen it once, you've seen them all'. The sister type rom-coms has been a recurring trend for a long time, that almost any long time anime fan may have encountered them in way or another. From the advertised materials, promotional videos, and key plot, nothing stood out that made this anime a must-watch. Did you know this anime took more than 4 years to debut on the TV screen? It was announced back in 2021 and made a few updates now and then before announcing its official release window of Fall 2025. That already set off a few red flags and concerns about its production schedule. When the preview videos debuted, it didn't make strong impressions. It was more like 'oh, it's finally airing after all thes…
