My Tiny Senpai

My Tiny Senpai

Introduction

"My senpai from work... is tiny and cute." Shinozaki is an office worker who is taken care of and coddled by his senior team member Shiori Katase: a gorgeous, profoundly kind, loving, and diminutive woman. Shinozaki certainly hopes that she's not doing it out of duty... but her joy of doing so increasingly exposes her feelings! (Source: MU)

i mean i guess it was allright. i'm just not a sucker for the string along type anime. i don't know why but i had rather high hopes for this, but as time dragged on it just became a farce. Like okay, not always are the MC's destined to become a couple but after all that.. friends?.. bro what are we doing.. The tensions are so high and then you keep getting slapped in the face with "ow nwo we cwant do dwis" like fk off. and it keeps going and going and then the end comes and you're like "is he at least gon admit his feelings or?" and he get's the nuts to do it but she's like "oh look at me am awkward so great work dude".. bruh.. Was fun to watch but that's really it. Sadly only 6/10 from me, if there was a second or even 3rd season sure maybe even a 8/10 but like this, i can't give it m…

At First I didn't have any expectations from this anime but when I watch 3 to 4 episodes I actually found it quite cute and interesting My review on this anime is this that you can watch this anime if you are looking for something wholesome comedy and romantic scenes The characters are quite interesting in the series especially you will all loved the character of manager of protagonist department At last As I said you can watch this anime with popcorn or some snacks on your sides and I am sure you will find it good and loveable And The animation is decent what you can expect from a rom-com genre Our female main protagonist is obsessed with cats and will find some cute and adorable moments of her with cat or I can say by becoming cat And aside from main protagonist male and female th…

It's a great watch but has an identity crisis. It's a typical high school shoujo romance disguised as a seinen romance in an office setting with adult cast. The story is pretty simple, it's just a slice of life with the 2 MCs kinda having a crush on each other and stuff just happens to them/around them to set them up for usual tropes you'd expect from a shoujo, but with minor twists to better fit their worklife rather than a high school. But honestly they could've done a cultural festival in the office and nobody would've noticed that it's not a high school. The character act like high school kids, constant blushing, hiding emotions and just being childish and unserious in general. They have a good dynamic and they're enjoyable if you look past the fact that this is supposed to be a work…

My rating was originally a bit lower like a 5 or a 4. 5 being average and not that special to 4 being unrepeatable, unwatchable even. First of all, the scenarios and main characters involved, feel like your generic lovesick high schoolers rather than actual adults dealing with love in the corporate world. I'm not saying it's impossible, it's just really misplaced and misguided. You could say the reason they are mostly acting cutesy and annoying is because of the genre or even because the characters are all "relationship rookies." But the chemistry and scenes of the 2 main couple, Shiori & Takuma, makes it so awkward and often downright irritating. I have my qualms with both of them like Shiori making me feel harrassed with her stupid hehe face and other "accidental" yet, questionable ac…

This show is very similar to your generic middle school romance anytime it has the same sort of plot and events but it also feels different with it being an adult work Romance which is good as it was a nice change of pace from the school stuff it’s nice to see it happen in adult life and the working worlds to give the audience who watch the school one when they’re in school old enough to watch the new one I feel a genuine connection between these 2 characters which normally doesn’t happen but this time I do like what I see and feel with the two protagonist This is why I like it the only bad thing is how the show abruptly ended with no hint at a season 2 or anything. IMO I’ll probably watch season 2 if gets announced as I did resllly like it 7/10

"Boring, boring and more boring" There's really not much to talk about this work that deserves a extensive review. There is no story, there is no romance (at least not one that worth it), just a lot of visible cliches and a attempt of making something entertaining without success. The characters are extremely unnatural and have no consistency, they shift personality and act like different persons in different scenes mainly because every interaction is blank and plain that there's no much to take out of each character. There's like a half of dozen jokes that can make you laugh, and mostly are from Akina the supervisor. He's a dumb genius. I would be more interested in a show with him just trying to bring couples together with the most crazy plans ever.

Aimed at a target audience. In a phrase, this anime aims directly for fans of romcom, SoL, silly, lighthearted anime. It hits all the tropes, even a number of highschool ones, and doesn't try to be something it's not. It's also aimed at people who have specific tastes, but that's not really worth covering more than others already have. You can enjoy it without that. The main couple have surprising chemistry, though it doesn't actually ever really explain why they like about eachother other than broad personality traits. Again, this show isn't going for depth. The supporting cast are all fun with diverse and eccentric personalities, the small cast also not overcomplicating things. This is a tough show to review really, because it is what it is and isn't very deep. It is quite funny and I…

Having watched the entire series of "My Tiny Senpai," I can say it's a charming rom-com that kept me smiling. Shiori Katase, with her petite stature and big heart, is an absolute delight. Her interactions with Takuma Shinozaki, the new office recruit, are hilarious and heartwarming. The animation is vibrant, and Katase’s cute expressions add to the humor. Each episode brings a mix of office antics and touching moments. What stood out to me was the perfect balance of comedy and romance without being overly dramatic.I genuinely enjoyed the well-developed characters and their genuine interactions. If you’re looking for a feel-good anime with lots of heart, "My Tiny Senpai" is a must-watch!

"My Senpai Anime Is Annoying"... is what I'd like to call this. This workplace slice-of-life/rom-com anime follows a Japanese office worker and his cute, VERY top-heavy, and otherwise tiny senpai. Throughout the anime, they dance around feelings for each other, and a couple of other office workers dance around feelings for each other too. That's... pretty much the whole anime. Nothing else interesting happens there, except for bouncy-bouncy with accompanying timpani-like sounds. This anime had a few things going for it, yes. The characters were well-drawn and weren't one dimensional, the art was nice, fanservice wasn't overboard - there was little actually *wrong* with this anime. If you're looking for a slice of life rom-com set in a workplace that has a few comedic moments, a few touc…

Classic workplace romance. This Anime was funny, cute, and cliche. While this anime makes you laugh, it will also make you cringe at the same time. If that's your taste, then this will definitely be up your alley. However, the only issue I have about this anime is the slow build up. There's nothing worse than the slow build up between two characters who have obvious chemistry. Also, it was sort of disappointing to see how it ends. All the buildup for nothing. If there is a second season, I hope it moves a lot faster. I understand some people like the slow build up and like to see the relationship blossom, but I personally feel like it took too long. I would also like to add that the side characters are all funny. I like the manager and sister duo. I hope we see more of them if there's…

“My Tiny Senpai” is what happens when You want to write an adult romcom but have no idea how adults act. The show revolves around two idiots that have the personalities of teenagers despite being, supposedly, adults. Shimozaki is a new hire in a company. He’s kind and… not much more. He has no hobbies and verbalises no interests, he’s just plain white bread in human form. The other is his senpai Katase - fun sized, big breasted, cheerful young woman who loves the company's mascot. So yeah… she’s just a little bit better than her kouhai.. Both are into each other and both have communication skills worthy of an ameba. Along for the ride are their manager - Akina, who schemes to get them together and Shimozaki’s childhood friend Hayakawa - an otaku who tries to hide her hobbies. Everyone ha…

"My Tiny Senpai" attempts to capture the essence of a slice-of-life romantic comedy, but unfortunately falls short of creating a truly engaging narrative. The series revolves around a promising premise - the dynamic between the titular characters in a charming, everyday setting. However, the execution leaves much to be desired, ultimately resulting in a lackluster viewing experience. One of the most glaring issues with the show is its dearth of interesting characters. Despite the potential for vibrant personalities and unique quirks, the cast feels disappointingly one-dimensional. The character development appears to be an afterthought, leaving viewers with little to invest in emotionally. As a result, the supposedly endearing moments lack the depth needed to resonate with the audience.…

The only thing I can really say about this series is that it was truly harmless. Just a kinda bland office romance with a cute, short stack senpai, and a bit of a quiet, normie kohai. I like the dynamic between them, it's very fuzzy, but there was no development on a character or couple level at all. They both start out kind of crushing on each other (i think) and by the end they're still exactly where they began. Sadly this is another series where the coworkers and their story seem more interesting than the main characters. I really liked their manager as well as the cosplaying coworker. Could have watched a whole series about them and probably would have enjoyed it more. In the end this isn't a series that I'd probably recommend to anyone, but if you watch it, it's not like you'll lose…

The anime is at its strongest in the first couple of episodes when it focuses on the four main characters (Katase, Shinozaki, Akina, and Hayakawa). All of them are likeable and interesting (particularly Akina), and their interactions are wholesome and endearing. Instead of developing those relationships (much) further, however, the show starts adding new, less interesting characters around the midpoint and wastes a lot of time on them. By the end, the romantic plots remain underdeveloped. There was also a noticeable change in the use of fan service. While some viewers might be annoyed with it from the very start, it definitely becomes more prominent (some might say obnoxious) as the anime continues. All in all, it could have been another (maybe even better) "Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hana…

first of all this anime is just another rom-com with simple story and rather uninteresting characters. animation: nothing special really. so normal not like MAPPA or Ufotable. 6/10 story : simple yet fun story and sometime predictable 6/10 characters : there are not very top tier characters but some of them are fun to watch like the boss and Shinozakis sister. 5/10 sounds : music is good but not god tier. of course what do you expect? its a normal rom-com show. the voice acting is fine. shimazaki Nobunga is great in his role and does well in his role again. 7/10 op/ed : the songs are so good they are catchy and fun to listen in my free time and when I'm cleaning my room. 8/10

This anime is your average generic middle school romcom. The workplace setting is pointless because all the characters act like middle schoolers. I honestly can't find the words to review this anime because of how little content it has. The series always sticks to safe generic plot and never does *anything* original. You have seen this stuff in most classic (older) romcoms where the two main characters keep hesitating to take the next step. The plot never moves forward, and you can't distinguish between episode 1 and 10 because there's barely any progress. The dialogue, plot, characters, art and everything is just tropes copy-pasted from existing works. The tropes of 1. guy getting cold due to rain -> girl cooking for him 2. gang going to swimming pool -> swimsuits fanservice 3. girl…

It's fine. It's repetitive, and most of the beats you can guess what happens. This isn't a revolutionary anime and definitely was born out of some weird fetish for big-chested soft-spoken shorties. It's an office "will they/won't they" anime. But overall it's not inherently annoying or problematic in any way. Characters - 5 They're mid. Shinozaki is super mid and more of the interesting characters are those around him than anything else. Their chief boss Akina is actually my favorite in the office. There's actually a different pairing, Hayakawa x Akina, that comes up a few times -- and I actually prefer that pairing to the main one (Shiori/Shinozaki) because at least Hayakawa and Akina are interesting. Story - 4 There isn't really one. It's a slice-of-life style. Like if Uzaki-Chan wa…

At first glance, this show seemed very sketchy. The adult "loli" with huge oppai made me concerned that I was about to witness some fanservice trash. I am happy to report that this is only partially the case. My Tiny Senpai tries to go down the cute and fluffy route. There is lot's of forced blushing and bashfulness from our resident loli, and lots of catgirl moments (is the mangaka a furry). On the other hand, each episode is fresh and lively, and ideas aren't really recycled which is another fear that I had coming in. I thought that their office would be the main scene the majority of the time. The comedy might not hit all of the time, but I think that it was up my alley for the most part. Positives: I'll elaborate on comedy here. It writes it's jokes in a way that falls into common tr…

Ah yes, the obligatory seasonal workplace romance story. Chiisai senpai is somewhat of a one trick pony. Its story is very simple, but it executes that one trick very well making for a fun viewing experience. It’s an endearing and charming workplace story that reminds us how love can be found when you least expect it. Contrary to how Twitter erupted when the first trailer for this dropped with “pedobait” allegations, because we all know pedophilia=anime girl short, this is a pure fluff watch that will set your heart ablaze with how sweet it can be.. In Japanese society, the workplace can be brutal and unforgiving. Long hours, unpaid overtime and abuse from superiors. So it should come as no surprise that Katase Shiori’s concern and affection towards Takuma Shinozaki is such a welcome si…

"When one trope starts, all else starts to follow." - A random anime weeb Do you remember a little show called Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi a.k.a My Senpai is Annoying? It aired back in Fall 2021, courtesy of Doga Kobo, and it was one of the popular shows in that season (that was dominated by Mushoku Tensei Season 1 Part 2 and Komi-san, to name a few), that was heavily influenced by Spring 2018's Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii a.k.a Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku, also another popular show from that season. And within the span of 5 years, we get yet another iteration of the now-known adult-casted workplace themes and rom-com genre, in the vein of mangaka Saisou's Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi a.k.a My Tiny Senpai. From what started out as a Doujin self-made work, it was ex…
