Gushing over Magical Girls

Gushing over Magical Girls

Introduction

A team of three magical girls known as Tres Magia protects the town where Utena Hiiragi lives. Like many others, Utena loves these magical girls who valiantly fight in the name of justice. One day, a mysterious black mascot character appears before Utena and grants her the opportunity of a lifetime: a chance to transform into a magical girl. However, the offer is not what it seems, as Utena has been recruited for an evil organization to fight the magical girls she has always admired. Utena is then forced to confront Tres Magia in battle; but instead of feeling remorse, she unexpectedly finds pleasure in inflicting pain on the magical girls. Completely giving in to her desires, Utena embraces her role as a villain, slowly transforming her adoration for magical girls into a new sadistic obsession. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

This anime. THIS ANIME. oh my god. All I have to say is it's really funny, the plot is actually interesting, but the amount of fanservice actually kills me. I get that it's an erotica, but the thing I have an issue with is that they are literally highschoolers.. that's the weird thing. Oh well, that's what fanfics and AUs are for; you can always age them up. I think the plot actually has a lot of potential and I enjoyed seeing the characters transform (some of the outfits were... interesting to say the least). The way Utena slowly realises she's a sadist but doesn't want to accept it, it's pretty funny how different she is when she isn't transformed into Magia Baiser 😭 I got a lot of good laughs from this show and I got attached to some of the characters like Utena, Kiwi, Korisu, and Sayo…

This show tries to both be a serious, meaningful mahou-shoujo romp and a plotless ecchi at the same time. Needless to say, it doesn't work. It is incredibly jarring when scenes where the characters have deep interactions with one another are followed by inexplicable sexuality, and this juxtaposition happens repeatedly throughout the show, muddling any gravity the character interactions actually had. It feels like the writers haphazardly mixed together elements from standard magical girl anime and hentai without any attempt to reconcile the differences between the two genres. If you're just interested for the anime titties, you'll probably like the show. But if you were drawn in by the interesting premise, then unfortunately, its insistence on gratuitous eroticism makes the delivery of th…

The Mahou Shoujo (magical girl) theme was a trend between the late ’90s and early 2000s. It was known for its flashy transformation style started by Sailor Moon, and character designs with eye-piercing bright colors. These elements formed a distinct identity for this theme, but over time, the spotlight started to fade and shifted toward isekai. Regardless of the fact that the decline in its popularity is due to the demand moving toward isekai, the magical girl theme, in terms of writing, is restricted by stereotypical constants that are difficult to bypass without losing its identity—compared to isekai, which is considered more flexible in its storytelling. The idea of being transported to another world smuggles the writers out of the restrictions of reality and opens limitless possibiliti…

Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete is not a 7.6 out of 10. There is no convincing me that this is even remotely on the level of Ishuzoku Reviewers, which has a 7.4 out of 10. I didn't even hate this anime, but seeing the glaze going on for it is insane. At best this is a 5/10. The anime is a Temu Madoka Magica, it's nothing special. The first half of the series is a slog and gets better in the second half. Unfortunately, there isn't much going on for a story development. It's 13 episodes of magical girls, and softcore hentai scenes. Again, no hate, but let's be real, this is extremely overrated. Animation 6/10 - This is as basic as it gets, with 2 or 3 scenes where Utena looks bad ass. Sound 6/10 - Nothing of significance comes to mind, mid OP/ED, Utena has a good VA though. Story 1/10 - There is…

this shit was so ass like holy hell what the fuck did i just watch T_T but holy this was some good quality trash and fan service anime. Everything fit in pretty well with a decent story and good characters and uhh... scenes... but it was very high quality imo in how they delivered this! This show was pretty funny at times and I fell inlove with the cast's chemistry as they slowly grew closer together hehe. If you're in the mood for some really unfiltered degenerate yuri anime close to being hentai watch this 100%. This show will not only please your cravings for some really horny Yuri straight girl to girl fetish full action, but also introduce you to stuff you didn't think you'd enjoy after all T-T. 8/10 this was so ass but I NEED a season 2 loved this.

DISKOWN

Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete falls short and feels largely forgettable. While it includes some risqué scenes, it doesn’t offer anything particularly fresh or unique. The character designs, especially concerning age portrayals, are questionable and may not be in good taste. The production quality is notably low, with animation that feels stiff. Although there are a few brief moments where the art direction and animation stand out, these instances are rare and amount to only a few seconds of screen time. Both the story and plot are lackluster, and the fight scenes are disappointing. Despite the anime’s efforts to attract viewers with provocative content, the raunchy scenes come across as stale and boring. Overall, Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete is best avoided, as there are many better anime in the…

So, I watched this to get the Braden Flett vibe, but nope, can't vibe with him. This anime? Low-key loved the extra bits, not the main stuff: - Those filler scenes? Skibidi-bop-mm-dada! It's like a slice of life, you know? (No shotgun for me now, gotta finish this review, skibidi toilet!) - If I didn't get jumpscared by the massive HANA moment (not molested, thank Skibidi), I would've vibed with it more. Big mood? This anime is for a very limited, risky crowd. Braden Flett, this one's for you, fam! Skibidi conclusion? This anime is for a very limited, risky crowd. Braden Flett, this one's for you, fam! This anime is W for all the in-between moments, but the main stuff? Major L, no cap. The filler episodes? Bussin'. That HANA moment had me finna dip, iykyk. Honestly, my brainrot couldn't…

You've heard the saying, I'm here for the plot. Well, that was me before I got into this "anime". And oh boy, I am actually here for the plot. No wonder people said this "anime" is one of the greatest anime of Winter 2024, and boy, this is an absolute cinema. Plot. You might be wondering why I kept writing "anime". Well, it's not your regular anime. It's most definitely an H but in the coat of small censorship. But aside from that, let me tell you this "anime" is insanely good. I did not think this anime would hook me more than a regular anime would in such a way. I invested in the world and characters; seriously, every interaction of the characters matters. Fan service here is essential to make the story forward. They made it so you care about their relationship and their interaction wit…

This show shouldn't exist. I believe that any show can be liked by somebody or even be their favorite. Even SAO falls under this rule. This show, however, shouldn't be enjoyed by anybody. Of course this isn't a "This show is trash so you shouldn't like it" situation. I genuinely cannot believe that there is a single soul, nonmatter how degenerate they are, could like this show. Are you looking for a cool magical girl fighting anime? Too bad this show spent half its budget animating the anime boobs. Looking for a well written story with well written and developing characters? Such a shame that this show throws out the development just to give you another disgusting degenerate scene, such as the end of episode 7. EVEN IF YOUR WATCHING THIS FOR "MATERIAL" YOUR STILL NOT SATISFIED. Again wi…

This anime was crazy and I can't believe Satan created this anime to troll the lesbians into watching Magical Girls getting into BDSM. Originally, the Manga didn't have Ecchi but the Animation Studio insert into the anime because...reasons...because they want this anime to sell very to an audience that would watch Boku No Pico and say "Yooooooooo! WTF!". I couldn't stop watching this anime for some odd reason. THE STORY The story is about Utena Hiiragi innocent shy girl that admires magical girls so much that she wanted to become a Magical girl . Until one day she was approach by mascot named Venalita who gives her magical powers, but rather than becoming the magical girl of justice she became a villain that joins an evil organization known as Enormita organization. Utena at first didn't…

Hear me out If you are looking for ECCHI anime. And I mean, let me stress that: "you are going out of your way" to find some horny sh*t, and have a laugh at the expense of the plots (ikwydt) and the suffering of the character, and you are not an easily offended individual, there is literally nothing - I repeat... NOTHING - in the same league as this anime in the previous season when it comes to deviancy, depravity, degeneracy, sexual risqué stuff allied with fun comedic easy going themes and stories. It is borderline Hentai but coming up with some degenerate sub plotlines to make the situations in each scene very funny. The songs are good, the scenes are well animated and very colorful. I don't even know how this came to be, it is impressive how Japan pulled this off. It is even more visu…

Here I present to you the best anime of the year. Logically when you look at this photo and these tags on MAL you think that the anime is horrible, I'm glad I had the recommendation of the great Khyleri. The anime is very good, it manages to get a lot of things right and is certainly the biggest surprise of the year so far. Asahi Production has just made the best anime in its company's history. The anime's proposal is brilliant, the way they present the proposal to the viewer and convey it well, is a great success. I also like that the direction is not that Ecchi anime crap, which is normal in the industry, but they managed to make this anime without any fear, they knew what they were doing very well and that brought an extra quality to the anime. The scenes are well done, produced and an…

How lesbian can you make a series? The answer given by this series was “Yes”. Animation isn't exactly going to win awards. The backgrounds are pretty basic and the soundtrack is nothing to write home about, although the opening and closing songs at least have a certain catchy charm that fits well with the overall tone of the series. The protagonists do what is expected of them in a parody of typical magical girl anime, but the comedy doesn't always manage to get laughs. Instead, the series seems to lean more towards fan service, with a rather aggressive and explicit approach that might make you wonder if you're watching something you should be watching on the family TV in the living room. As for the plot, it's…let's just say it doesn't reinvent the wheel. The series joins the mountain of s…

This anime was pure art. I found myself watching it after hearing the premise and liking it. Girl that loves magical girls is finally granted powers but she ends up a witch, a good setup for wacky hijinks and a good time. I was warned it was down bad but holy shit did that not prepare me for what was about to happen. In the first minute you get exposed to full frontal nudity and it goes so much deeper than that. Every episode a new fetish or two is proudly displayed in what i can only explain as the total dissolution of the line between anime and hentai. I found myself unable to look away in a way i havent since eromanga sensei. Animation was serviceable, the music was mid, the plot was surprisingly okayish and the fights were, well, basically porn. 10/10 dont watch it

Peak Ecchi anime about magical girls that borders on hentai. Plot: To start, there's an actual story here. It's about a girl named Utena who adores magical girls and even dreams of becoming one. A little spirit companion grants her the gift of transforming into a magical girl, but with a twist—she joins team Evil. As the episodes unfold, Utena gradually comes to embrace her role in evil, largely through her interactions with the magical girls, Tres Magia. And by interactions, I mean Ecchi at its finest, teetering on the edge of hentai. Along her journey, she allies with characters that assist her in tormenting Tres Magia, and that's what it mainly boils down to majority of the episodes. Overall, the story progresses nicely, and it's surprisingly decent. There's character growth in a lot…

"Gushing Over Magical Girls" is a lot of thing, but it isnt for the faint heart, as evident from the key visual itself. Centered around a girl whose adoration for magical girls borders on obsession, the series captures the essence of her passion with remarkable precision. Or should i say, her sadistic nature instead? What truly sets this anime apart is its attention to detail in facial expressions, character dynamics, and the impeccable voice acting, all of which breathe life into the story on an entirely different level. Each episode unfolds with a delightful blend of humor and heart, leaving viewers filled with immense joy. As we follow the shy and friendless protagonist, Utena, we witness her gradual transformation into her true self, fueled by her unbridled passion for magical girl…

Oohh boy.. this one was a doozy. It's one of those animes that really, truly blur the lines between what is considered an anime and what can be considered a hentai. Now, while I might've given this a "Mixed Feelings" regarding on whether I'd recommend this to people or not, I want to preface this first by saying that I gave this an 8/10 rating. The reason why it's a "Mixed Feeling" is pretty much already obvious. People who are used to the usual tropes of anime aren't gonna mind this anime and its antiques. It knows what it's doing and it does it very well. It doesn't pretend to be anything more than a "fun with ecchi" anime (although surprisingly if you dig deeper, there are recurring themes that stay true to the characters' motivations, which I commend this anime's story for doing, and…

Let's get this out of the way first. Whether you like Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete or not ultimately depends on one thing: whether you can tolerate the characters being 14 or not. If you are NOT comfortable with them being underage, this is not a show for you. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'm saying this upfront as it's the most contentious part of the show. For those of you who are okay with it: you're in for one heck of a ride. MahouAko's anime adaptation is a mixed bag, speaking as a manga reader. Let's go over the bad points first: - The story is nothing groundbreaking, nor is the premise innovative. It's an ecchi centered around magical girls, and while it does explore topics like sexual awakening, it's still an ecchi at its core. There's a caveat to this, but don't expect an…

We’ve done it. We’ve peaked. This is the culmination of 70+ years of Japanese animation. It doesn’t get better than this. Mahoako is the crowning achievement of anime. Combine two of the best things ever made, the Mahou Shoujo genre and BDSM erotica and you’ve got Mahoako. A sensual, but surprisingly wholesome experience that lures you with fan service and keeps you with the loveable cast and slice of life moments. While it might not have had the motion that Frieren and Kusuriya had, Mahoako was a force to be reckoned with in its own right. Delivering banger after banger episode, solid animation and levels of degeneracy that I didn’t even think were possible in a TV anime, this show was simply amazing. I was a fan of the manga coming into it, but they took that and elevated the source ma…

Gushing Over Magical Girls - Step aside, Mato Seihei no Slave a.k.a Chained Soldier, I AM THE REAL religious, men of culture, degenerate show that has taken the Winter season by storm! Magical Girls. What comes to mind when you think of the now oversaturated Mahou Shoujo genre? Magical powers; magical girls with fluffy magical girl clothes; the ever-so-iconic Kyubey mascot character; the Yuri undertones like the classic Shoujo Kakumei Utena a.k.a Revolutionary Girl Utena; or even the ever-so-slightly dark take of shows like Lyrical Nanoha and Madoka Magica that meanders to the adult side and it being super edgy just because it can. And who would've thought that this day would come in the vein of, yet another Mahou Shoujo show, that could do all of the above and more, but with sexualized E…
