Honestly, I love generic Isekai's but the characters in this one are horrible. Not only are they generic, but they're extremely annoying. Why on Earth do writers feel like every character needs to obey their class leader when they're in an entirely different world? Why would you suffer through being told what to do, to the point that you have a bed time. In another world. By characters that are so weak they're completely co-dependant on you?
Just once I wish an MC would either tell them to get lost, or stab them in their sleep, because jfc it makes no sense.
You would think it doesn't get worse, but then it does. Because the MC dares to want to do anything himself, the useless side character women decide to ground the MC and take on their first adventure quest without him. I cannot believ…

This anime was honestly disappointing. The animation is weak, the comedy rarely lands, and the overall story feels like a very average (or even bad) isekai. I found myself getting bored most of the time while watching.
I actually started this anime because I saw a reel of the MC with Angelica and thought it would be a fun romance isekai. But the writing is so poor that Angelica only appears near the very end, and then the anime immediately finishes. Her part was the only thing I actually enjoyed, everything else felt like a waste of time.
Overall, weak animation, weak jokes, weak story saved only a little by Angelica.

On the one hand, it's still generic isekai. On the other it has a slightly unique approach.
It starts when the loner-type mc noticed that his whole class is about to be isekai'd so he tried to escape it.
This leads to the funny premise where all the goods skills are taken and all that's left are trash skills. The god pitied him and gave him all the trash skills. Obviously, as per typical isekai plot, by virtue of finding unique combos between the "trash skills", he ends up being op.
Now here's where I start finding it interesting. In most of the "entire class was transported to another world" trope, the mc gets to be completely separated from his class. Most of the time, the mc just creates his own group and we forget about his class.
They barely get air time and are usually just extr…

There are a multitude of strange aspects to this show that bring it down from a good show to only being okay at best. I consider this to be a great example of a STANDARD Isekai, not really doing anything special or unique, but also not really getting caught up in the common issues.
The MC is not OP but he is also not strictly average or weak. He has sub-par special skills assigned to him, but luckily they can be used in sort of ass-pulley ways. They don't really play THAT big of a role in the story as things progress further, in particular the second half of the show almost completely ignores them and focuses mostly on his level.
The first half of the season is a mix of the class getting settled into their new environment along with Haruak getting roped into helping them. For the first 7…

Just another overpowered protagonist in an Isekai, nothing new here. The characters feel hollow and poorly written. The animation is also quite bad, and there’s barely any real story to speak of.
What’s most frustrating is that the main character wants to live completely alone, as the title suggests. But the setting doesn't support that idea at all. If you want to justify a character choosing isolation, the other characters should at least be annoying or unpleasant. Instead, everyone around him is incredibly kind and supportive. So why would someone still want to live alone in such a friendly environment?

TLDR and recommendations - You can do so much better. If you like a loner having to deal with his class in a real way, watch Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. If you want a whole class that's involved, try Naruto or My Hero Academia. If you like simple skills being taken to the limit, try Kekkaishi or Charlotte. I hope you enjoy at least one of them.
You and I both probably saw the summary and thought "Oh, sending an entire class to another world sounds like a fun and interesting dynamic! I wonder what they can do here that other isekais can't? And the main character gets leftover skills! What kind of interesting stuff he'll have to figure out?"
Both of these questions end badly I assure you. Let's start with the more egregious of the two. The class. I'll keep the secon…

"here's an anime idea, let's take an isekai and... okay thats all let's create it"
This show can be described as boring and probably mediocre, let's break it down
Although the show has tags like "ecchi", "harem", "romance", "comedy" and doesnt even provide you anything
eechi tag : literally nowhere to be seen
harem tag : the girls dont even like him
romance tag : aside from that copycat of the girl in solo leveling who travels with the mc in the dungeon, the romance doesnt even exist
comedy: the only time that i laughed is when i was the time when i saw the cgi beasts. aside from that, jokes are unfunny and consist of a chibi head popping on one of the side of the frame and says something to comment on a dialogue that someone just said or just being loud
MC : a guy who is friendless got…

A whole class isekai-ed type of anime, with the MC being a "loner" type... or so it would seem.
I will get straight to the point, this anime is dumb, and not the dumb fun type. It does go onto the comedic route, but it fails. Everything about it screamed to me like this is a 12-year old's written wet dream of an isekai... And after finishing the anime and reading online about what happens in the light novels and web novels after the story (and some stuff that was skipped), I was right on the money. The anime doesn't show anything or reaches the point where stuff really gets off the rails, but I highly encourage you to read what happens after finishing the anime... it will put some stuff in perspective.
The plot again makes the decision to instantly transform some of the classmates into p…

Now this anime was a breath of fresh air because it knows exactly what it is. The story is not overly complex and it does spend an exuberant amount of time trying to pretend its something its not. It is your generic isekai where the MC knows it a generic isekai. He even realizes he got the raw end of the deal and got stuck with all the useless skills! Funny how in a generic isekai those "useless" skills make him one of the strongest characters in the show... What a great watch! It was fun from start to finish even if the class rep pissed me off. Like hey ladies he saved you multiple times stop treating him like crap!!!! Oh and Angelica? Talk about a boss. Apparently the WN is spicy compared to the manga and anime? Let me know...

Finished the series in one seating and honestly the class rep character really really REALLY get on my nerves.
Haruka is a chill MC the way i see it and the plot progression is okay but mannnn class rep is really annoying and noisy.
Typical isekai plot with a bit of different setting with the whole classroom.
I've never known or read the novel and manga but these 12 episodes are easy to watch, not a single heavy plot.
Kinda curious on how Haruka's power progression continue on because it's a combination of small power/quirks and not the usual imba MC buffs.
If there is ever a second season, i will watch it just to see how they carry on the story.

“Loner Life in Another World” is what happens when a good idea meets incompetent writing.
From the very first episode You know this will be a master class in lazy, subpar writing. It’s actually amazing how fast we see the world bending over backwards for the MC. Even the garbage “Re: Monster” waited 2 episodes for that.
Before we start I would like to explain something. I will be talking about “plot” and “story”. Many people use those terms interchangeably. I’m not one of those people, so to make sure everyone is on the same page…
I use the definitions for “plot” and “story” as Lisa Cron describes them:
“What happens in the story is the PLOT, the surface events.”
“STORY is about how the things that happen affect someone in pursuit of a difficult goal, and how that person changes inter…

This one's... honestly rather meh. In all categories . The world building is weak, most characters don't even get named and all, the one character that got me riled up only appears in like 2 episodes, and with these many chicks in the anime you'd at least expect some semblance of fanservice ,but it's non-existent. The premise they start on is a really good take on isekai. But they drop it as soon as they introduce it. He's never actually alone . I got a laugh once or twice but that's about it. The animation is also ... real bad . The CGI looks a little bit better then what you'd usually see, but not enough to actually make me wanna see more of it.
Could've taken it in an actual solo isekai story, and introduce Angelica as his only partener along the line. Even with everything meh, a premi…

This anime starts as "average good", but goes downhill pretty quickly. So why am I recommending it? Because towards the end we get a new character that saves it.
"Loner Life in Another World" is a deceiving name for this anime, since the only time he's alone is in the first episodes. It's fun to see him getting around the new world, but the plot has too many inconsistencies and holes that quickly kill our enjoyment.
Not only that, but the female characters are insufferable, specially the 'Class Rep' which is somehow supposed to be his "romance".
If you manage to get through the mid of this anime, at least I can promise you that the ending is rewarding. Without giving spoilers, I can tell you that he actually finds a character that we can come to like, and that matches his good vibe.

I really enjoyed this anime. Please give it a chance!
Despite the mostly negative reactions on this show I decided to give it a chance. Nothing about this show stood out, title or animation.
This show was really cute, fun and cozy. Maybe it didn't innovate something new or special, but it was good in its own way. This thought me a lesson that public reactions don't really mean that much, it all depends on how much YOU enjoy the show.
Overall, It was a fun watch! I hope you give this show a try and chill out while watching it.

If you manage to get past the 3 cringe-inducing chapters at the beginning, you can find a funny story, but nothing more.
The story is funny, it can make you laugh a couple of times, but there's nothing more. The story is only about the protagonist who wants to be a loner, but doesn't want to be alone, but when he's not alone, he misses being alone again. For the same reason, it's not necessary to pay so much attention to the protagonist's internal dilemma and just enjoy the adventures of the boy and the rest of his class. It doesn't have great animation, but the character design and art seem cute to me. The monsters that aren't made with CGI are the least threatening you'll find in the anime, and that gives the work a certain degree of personality.
Initially, the story seems promising be…

actually this is a good anime, it's just that there are some things that make me decide whether to give a recommendation or not.
first the MC is quite good, with bad skills but can be great beyond those who have ultimate skills
- in my opinion the title of the anime, a loner is a bit unsuitable for the storyline, where the MC is busy with activities with his friends both when he is still in the forest and when he is already in the city.
- his female friends are very annoying, I thought there would be a fantasy harem story but it turned out not to be. his friends are only obstacles for him.
- there is one thing that makes me quite curious, about the love story of Haruka and Angelica in the next season. it's quite late to bring up a love story in the last episode.
- if this anime does not t…

Calling this a comedy would be the best joke in the entire show....
Story about OP MC that's only supposed to be OP alone, but the story does great job ignoring this fact completely, leading to the biggest disappointment at n1 :
Comedy - most of the "comedic situations" revolves around our OP MC being OP and casually clearing strong monsters, etc...with the punchline being his honestly nice and cute, but annoying and nosy class rep-friend giving him shit for doing anything mildly dangerous, or like any good mother, leaving house w/o permission or coming back late (yes those are real examples). And the OP MC able to solo clear whole dungeon simply takes it and listens like a good boy cause he is...oh yes "not very good with social interaction". Which you might have guessed never happens or…

Since everyone wants to walk on eggshells about what's good and what's not, let me be the one to say this - stop going into shows like this expecting something more than what the title is giving you. This show is as generic as they come for isekais, so if you hate anything about either of those two words - stay away completely. I repeat, stay away.
Now that the riff raff is gone, let me speak to those like me, who will be willing to watch anything as long as it is ENTERTAINING. This show...is entertaining. It gives you plenty of plot points that would hook almost anybody, considering you want to see what the mc will get up in this isekai world, while also having to deal with his classmates. I personally really enjoy the concept of having an entire class of students being isekai'd, but mo…

This show is a good example of how annoying support characters can make or break a show's enjoyment.
I've watched a number of basic isekai/fantasy shows revolving around the same cliche topics and themes, what made those shows enjoyable for me is the generally positive vibes and easy to follow plot, alongside a main cast that I can root for. Occasionally I might find something with a slightly different template such as Failure Frame from last season with a villainous MC instead.
In short, my interpretation of isekai is like giving the class an essay theme that is open ended, and then reading the student's work to see if they are going to go the easy route, or the creative route and create something that isn't commonly seen for the theme.
Coming into the season, my initial rating after t…

The words 'forever alone' is usually expressed as a reflective way of an individual's inability to commit to a relationship, friendship, or companionship in any shape or form. Most kids in school probably have heard of it and some will find meaning in those words in their teen and adult life. For a guy like Haruka, he embraces the role of being a loner and wants to be alone for the rest of his life.
It probably feels like deja vu at this point but this looks like another one of those fantasy/isekai anime we've seen countless times this year. In a twist of fate, Haruka and his class gets transported into another world. The catch for Haruka himself is that he got to choose skills and he took the opportunity to choose ones suited for a loner.
As someone who has read the manga, various red…
