Element Hunters

Element Hunters

Introduction

In 2029, a large scale ground sinkage occurred in the Mediterranean Sea. Chemical elements such as oxygen, carbon, gold, molybdenum, and cobalt disappeared from the earth's crust suddenly. The human population was decreased by 90% in sixty years. Researchers found out that the disappeared elements were drained into a planet "Nega Earth", located in another dimension. To save the Earth, a special team called the "Element Hunters" is organized. All of the members are under 13 years old, because young and flexible brains are needed to access "Nega Earth".

This is definitely, without a doubt, one of the best nostalgic animes I ever watched. Very average characters, decent music, good storyline with a mix of proper comedy, and execution. Even if the anime may seem good but not ppopular aka underrated and is pretty much identical to other anime in the late 2015 above, I find that its really getting mediocre. How is it mediocre? I see that people don’t really watch this anime a lot because the episodes further can really be boring at times as the storyline progresses. I understand, but if you look back, you might make yourself interested once more, but if you don’t have that feeling, then it’s understandable. People have different tastes you know. If you’re one of those nostalgic boners who watches anime back in 2010 below, this can be the a…

I'm writing this review because this shows truly deserves it. I feel I discovered a hidden gem here. Judging by its looks, you could say it's just your normal, average shonen anime from 2010's but once you step into the Opening, you encounter the sad but determined faces of three kids. That first glance impressed me: I knew this wasn't going to be just a silly action with some comedy series but a drama-charged one. Story: (8.5/10) To be short and not repeat synopsis, the story and the world is very original even though I could relate it in some way with Digimon (''monsters'' and kids jumping into another ''world''). It centers around the drama of the Earth being endangered by the disappearance of the elements. If you actually pay attention to it, you'll see it's focused more in the poli…

It is still fairly early in the series so this is my initial assessment of the anime and the various components that make it up. This anime reminds me of a combination of FLCL and Busou Renkin only with a story line that needs to be more developed and artwork that could be cleaner. All in all at this point I would say that this anime is worth watching if you have some spare time on your hands but I wouldn't make a point of jumping on the new eps when they come out.Its very educational but its a little boring but still a good anime

I think two years ago i attempted first episode of this anime and dropped it. Again on 6th of November 2015, i watched it till 8th episode thinking it as boring. But i watched it this time with my mom, sister and her 9 year old son and it did excited us till the last episode. Literally i hated Chemistry especially periodic table and electron configuration while i was studying 10th class. But after watching this anime i remember that silver is Ag. What i mean to say is that anyone can fall in love with chemistry, especially the topic i discussed above. Story: It is complete fiction story of creative imagination of what will happen to Earth and its residents if the elements of the Earth evaporate resulting in wholes in the surface of Earth, which is termed in this anime 'Element demateriali…

I first found this when I was browsing for Anime to watch. I found the cover fairly appealing and quite liked the overview summary. This series has a very SLOW start, so unless you're a patient and tolerant individual as myself, then I suggest finding a more fast paced, more mature anime, but it's worth the wait in my case. Even though it's basically a children's anime, I guess I can't really judge it too harshly. I mean, if I showed this to my 5 year old cousin, she would have fallen in love as I did with Pokemon when I was younger. It's basically depending on your age, if you're younger/very childish, I guess this anime can appeal to you, but if you're a young adult seeking more fierce battling, I suggest watching Naruto or something else. It's rated for kids, so not a lot of blood. A…

I took Element Hunters as a kid's show, and with that in mind I thoroughly enjoyed the show. It is a cut above kid's shows today and I even learned some things, with amusing characters and compelling friendships along the way. You would enjoy this show if you want one that is mostly light, but with an important goal in the end - the first episodes are quite light-hearted and stand alone, while later the show culminates without getting too heavy. Anyway, I thought Element Hunters was adorable and I would definitely want kids to watch it.

Ok, as others have mentioned, this series has a bad rap. However, the concept is amazing! I really enjoyed this series, since I am a scientist... I loved the idea of nega-Earth and element dematerialization. The story wasn't too complex, but it had a sense of learning, which is important in its own right. The animation was alright but I really liked the music. I thought it was catchy. The characters were straightforward and sweet. There were some "twists" that arose, which made the plot more interesting. Overall, don't knock it till you try it!!

I'm one of those people who doesn't judge a show by a slow start. This is because it is not unusual for shows that start slow to become better and more interesting as the story becomes deeper, the characters grow on you and become interesting, and specific features of the show, like action or drama, become more intense. Unfortunately, Element Hunters is not this kind of show. It starts off slow and stays slow. The entire time I watched the show I never felt much in terms of interest. The main reason I kept watching it was because of my earlier statement about slow starting shows and I don't like quitting things I started. Something that always bugged me about this show is that it feels like it was made for a younger audience, but the conversations can become so complicated and detailed…
