My Hero Academia Final Season

My Hero Academia Final Season

Introduction

The final stages of an all-out war between heroes and villains unfold as the world watches its symbols of peace and destruction collide. When All Might is critically injured, global fear takes hold as the fate of society hangs in the balance, and the threat of All For One and Tomura Shigaraki makes it clear that the conflict is far from over. As hope begins to fade, Izuku "Deku" Midoriya stands at the forefront, refusing to let the war end in despair. Pushed beyond his limits and supported by Katsuki Bakugou and other heroes fighting beside him, Deku becomes the central force opposing collapse. The conflict becomes a defining turning point for society—one where the future will be entrusted to the victorious side. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

If you made it to this season, there is no reason to stop watching here. That being said, I think you may be disappointed based on the rank this season has on this site. If you are deciding whether to watch MHA, I think it is important to understand that this show is very milquetoast overall, with an ending that is pretty satisfying, but safe and predictable. There are some really epic and sweet moments in this show, but they are bogged down by many boring segments that I do not care for. Ultimately, the show never really did anything surprising, which in turn did not make it very interesting. The final season focused on fight scenes and emotional payoffs, which is probably why it is ranked so high. Many of those emotional beats fall flat though. The show and this season are a fine wat…

I never leave a review. I have almost 90 days of watch time I've never left a review. This is not going to be a meta review, moreso the thoughts and feelings that I had after watching the final season. My hope is that in understanding how much I would have to be moved to write this out, you will understand why I personally find this to be the best ending to any story I've ever had the pleasure of expriencing. My Hero is a story that has always put the "other" first. Everything the heroes do is for the betterment of others. A hero puts their body on the line for others. A hero cares about everyone. A hero can't help but think "how can I help someone else". It's honestly so moving for me. I think Horikoshi does an amazing job in encapsulating that. For all of My Hero's faults at the end of…

End of an era. "Boku no Hero Academia: Final Season" is the last season of the anime, minus one epilogue ova that was announced after the season finale aired. My Hero Academia went from the start of another great shounen, to the end of another great shounen, and managed to stick the landing, mostly. My Hero Academia's main lesson was just one single message that Horikoshi (the author) kept consistently beating readers & watchers over the head with: Reach a hand out. Doesn't matter the circumstance, doesn't matter who it is, just always help. It's a noble, naive, yet simple lesson with good intentions. Although like many other stories out there, this lesson/trope is often taken to some extremes. The story is very straightforward, a superhero academy for hero trainees who wish to become g…

This animation is horrible. Either showing characters without background or close ups of faces. Close to 0 wide shots and even if there are ones it's either a rubble, sky or grass. Cheap, ugly and rushed. Emotional disaster. It tries to be emotional 24/7 making all those emotions empty. Everything is a last stand. Last stand every 5 minutes. Makes all those scenes empty and it's not the first season they done that. Typical to many anime powered by friendship so is the case here. Other side characters must be involved in some shape or form for some reason. Given their background story, given some redemption arc, their last appearance in the story before the big end. To get more screen time. Every move, every decision must be explained by the characters otherwise it would be like 4 episo…

A disappointing end to a great series. I was a big fan of MHA as you can see from my very high ratings of early seasons, but I think the last two seasons, in particular the final one were a real let down. Almost Game of Thrones level downfall, with cringe dialogue that put me off watching the last few episodes for quite some time. I'm not sure what happened with this anime, perhaps they left themselves with too much to do to wrap up, but even then, the final confrontation just seemed incredibly dragged out, and the plot for the final season was just one deus ex machina after another. I must have rewatched* this anime dozens of times, when new series were coming out, and found myself moved by very cool scenes such as All Might Vs Nomu at the USJ, Deku Vs Shoto at the sports festival, End…

29/12/25, 18:12 pm I grew up along with this anime.First watched an episode of it on TV when the first season aired around 2016. Then later on, I went on to watch it season after season. Today, after about 9 years or so I watched the last episode of Mha. Feels so bittersweet.I grew up along with these characters. I watched them grow and see them achieve what they did alongside them. This anime will truly be one of the greatest anime I've ever watched. This story told me to never give up, told me that even you could become a hero even if you have nothing to start with. Izuku Midoriya will truly be my favourite Mc till the end of time. He was the guy with the kindest heart, always wanting to lend a helping hand to someone in need. Being quirkless, and facing all kinds of battles didn't stop h…

I discovered My Hero Academia years ago, when I was so much younger. At the time I was still in school, I was thirteen I guess, I don't remember well. I was often lonely at lunch and was passing the hours I have at the library in my school, when I was checking the manga area I always saw this yellow book with a muscular man looking like an American hero, and a young boy. And at that age I was already judging the cover book and the drawing, I was already passionate regarding of what I am doing now (background artist/2D rigger, 2D animator/director). At this time I though why so yellow ? I didn't like the cover haha. I didn't understand (I think I still don't but I accept it). Anyway, I took it and read it at the library and finaly, borrow it, since I didn't finished to read it. And when I w…

I started watching My Hero Academia because i really loved the appeal of a superhero anime. At the surface level, it gave me exactly what i wanted. The story however, is so much deeper and has left me in tears multiple episodes (especially the last 2 seasons turned me into an emotional trainwreck). The character growth, the connections between the characters, the characters themselves, the story and the hidden message it carries along are what make this anime, my new favourite. I'm not gonna lie, i'm not ready to say goodbye to this franchise yet. I'm hoping on more spin off's, sequels, movies or a game of some kind. I have enjoyed this ride so much, that i am now buying the manga chapter by chapter and reading it. Deku, All Might, Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight and everyone else, t…

I gave this a 10 not because it has great quality or amazing animation. while neither of these are bad previous seasons have done better job at pretty much everything. I give this a 10 because its the final season to a show that was incredible. Season 8 itself was still good though, the last couple episodes feel rushed, yet dragged out and having the spilt between season 7 and season 8 killed the tension the season 7 built but I also watched both seasons as they came out. As of now people can now hop directly from one season to the next without having to wait. Could the season have been better? Absolutely! Is this the worst season of MHA. Probably... However it closes of the show well enough and if the worst a show ever gets to is a 6 or 7 while it peaks at a 9's and 10's then the show is…

I was in college when the series first aired, and watching it grow over the years alongside my own life made the final season hit especially hard. It landed like a truck. It felt like the series was evolving each season, just like me. I sometimes wish I had been more invested back then and even now, but being part of the journey still meant a lot. Sharing that final episode release with everyone else, all at once, felt special in a way that’s hard to put into words. Even though it was quite frustrating as a series at first because of the “power of friendship” being thrown at you all the time, internal monologues, and slow pacing at times, it would continually bore me the first few seasons until the action hit. But by the final season, it was pretty great. The entire final season was a gr…

My Hero Academia has finally, after 8 seasons of unrelenting cringe that would make even an edgy teenager wither, has finally come to its conclusion. Good bye and Good Riddance. This is a garbage pile of a series that somehow manages to rip off Sky-High, a terrible B rated superhero movie about high school super heroes, while still being worse.... MHA as a series that is extremely overrated, and is fundamentally, just not a good show. The vast majority of the series is just Midoriya embodying all the worst traits of the "Well I want to try and redeem the villain regardless of how many people they killed" trope. And besides our main protagonist, the rest of the cast is so large that in essence they all end up being defined by one or two dimensional tropes based on relevance to their plot.…

This review will serve as an entire series retrospective. My hero academia is about a boy showing that the spirit of a hero is more important than the power of one. It was exciting seeing someone without powers suddenly get an incredibly strong one but with limitations that only the right person would be able to use. The first two seasons are the peak of this, a lot of characters feel important. It feels like the first academic year of these heroes and how they are starting to evolve little by little. We get the stein battle which was probably the best arc. In season three we get the training camp arc which is where the flaws definetly start to showing up. Lets do a million percent ignoring everything previously stated because it is flashy. Now that we have taken all the possible soul f…

Where should I even begin? Season 8 of My Hero Academia disappointed me just as much as Season 7 did. It was tedious to watch and felt completely rushed. The story jumped from scene to scene, creating a confusing mess. What exactly happened to the previous holders of One For All after they entered Shigaraki’s soul? The series leaves the viewer alone with far too many unanswered questions. The fight against All For One had no real consequences. It was predictable, and of course every student had to get their own moment against him. To me, the battle against All For One was one of the worst if not the worst final battles I have ever seen in an anime series. There was no drama, no tension, nothing at all, because everyone survived even in a fight against the supposedly greatest villain of a…

What does Boku no Hero Academia teach us? - There has to be a reason behind why a person is evil, he has to have a background full of grief and the onus on you to hard reset his very own beliefs. - The bully and the victim should be treated equally, they are both at fault. Adults should not help the bully to change his worldview, eventually, he will definitely get a character development phase and there it is, he is a full-fledged grown-up which society admires to the fullest. - Governments should provide the most prominent figure in its liberation history a salaryman job. There are a lot of characters that did not get share from the story (Principal Nezu, Fillers in Class 1-B, Lady Nagant, Doctor really what happened to him?, Midoriya’s father, Mirko) and characters author forget to mo…

Its been 9-10 years since this anime first came out MHA was never a story about overthrowing the world. It was about enduring it without becoming monstrous. Horikoshi rejects cynicism. He rejects the idea that rage is inherently revolutionary. That choice will alienate readers who wanted rupture instead of repair, and without a doubt, MHA will leave its footprint in the Anime industry forever. Even though this anime has come to an end with its chapter, this is not THE end for the next Heroes of My Hero Academia. As a whole from start to now, this anime deserves nothing more but a 10/10 So go beyond Plus ULTRAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

The final season of MHA is a real stand-out. Where the show shines most, in my opinion, is establishing every character's story, even those that would otherwise be quickly forgotten. Not all stories are the deepest, but all are respected. Through this level of care, it's clear the creators have a genuine respect for the "power of friendship" and its effect on growth of human beings. I will admit that in previous seasons the notion felt more average or even trite to me, but the final season upped the ante somehow. Throughout the season I was excited to see the new weekly episode, and the climax in particular, which actually spans several episodes, made me bump up my score to 10. The positives include, this time, outstanding action and a fiery spirit. Even heroes who suffer life-altering i…

In a sentence: This anime is often misunderstood because of the fandom, but it delivers one of the most well-rounded experiences. It gives you a feel of completeness. Story: On the surface, it might look like a typical shonen adventure, but the story is much deeper. There are dreams, forced dreams, conflict, clash of ideals, and hope and understanding, with a careful focus on character growth and consequences. The hardships and challenges are meaningful, and victories feel well-earned rather than handed out. No power-ups or sudden wins. This might be the only anime where I have seen villains having such thick plot armour. Some arcs are really emotional, giving the viewer a sense of accomplishment alongside the characters. Overall, it’s a story about growth, friendship, and perseverance th…

It has been a long run, but we are at the end of the show, one final season, one chance and an unknown future to come. Will All Might and Deku win over true evil, or will their world crumble to dust, it is all decided now. In this final season of My Hero Academia we are seeing the end of the story, with the final battles being fought and us seeing what happens to the victors and the losers. This is done with a fast start into All Might’s fight against All For One, then transitioning into what follows and afterwards on to the end of this long lasting trial. All made with a great animation quality, amazing pacing and some incredible moments. The plot of this season is really something, for this is the final climax and the final resolution, the season has to tie a knot on everything left b…

My Hero Academia, the 8th and FINAL FIGHT - A near-decade rollercoaster ride of bumps depicting highs and lows, that defined a generation of Shonen fans, for better and for worse. And as the quote goes: "We will NEVER be the same again." **Joyful, endless streams of tears are responsible for the making of this dedicated review** The life of an author in the making, is always never that easy to contend with - make a story, have characters support that story from start to finish, and develop it with the sense of how he/she wants the story to be like that tells an overarching and believable story that sells to the masses from Day 1. That's what most aspiring authors intend to be like, seeing mangaka idols from the classic Attack on Titan's mangaka Hajime Isayama, to the modern-day Shonen fe…

In 2015, on a random week at the end of October, the first season of My Hero Academia was green-lit. At the time, my excitement was through the roof, like a kid at the candy store. It made all in the sense in the world to capitalize on its popularity. Animating this show was also no brainer with the growing trend of superhero media in the modern era. Here we are 10 years later, the final season of My Hero Academia is upon us. The rivalry between the heroes and villains in this franchise has been old as time. To make a strong impression, we're thrown back between the struggle on both sides: All Might and All For One. Their battle has much more impact than just than saving the world. From All Might's point of view, he's trying to save the next generation of heroes. In a plot scripted way, h…
