Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun

Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun

Introduction

Seiwa University High School is renowned for its elite athletes and national-level sports teams. Despite not playing any sports himself, Kouyou Kotesashi enters the school hoping to become a sports doctor and accepts a live-in position as a dormitory's caretaker. Upon his arrival, Kotesashi learns that the dorm is also home to five skilled female athletes: Aroma Kusunoki, Miyuki Hongou, Izumi Sumiyoshi, Chiyo Sayamagaoka, and Aoba Kitahara. Although faced with skepticism, Kotesashi quickly proves his worth by using his vast knowledge of the human body and massage techniques. With a single touch, he identifies what is troubling each of the girls and helps them recover properly. When the chairman promises him a scholarship if he takes care of the girls' well-being, Kotesashi is determined to ensure that they stay in top shape. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

This anime is the worst of the season. It offers nothing but pretty girls, and there are much more interesting anime for that; or better yet, watch hentai, since this adaptation doesn't even offer that. All this series does is take up screen time that could be used by a higher-quality anime. I don't understand why people were recommending the manga; it was probably just wishful thinking, fueled by that repetitive fetish of giving massages to pretty women and the absurd idea that all the girls in high school would let themselves be massaged as if it were normal. Besides, in a real job as a physical therapist, you don't give those kinds of massages; the protagonist is completely making them up. Even if you were a sensual masseur, most of the clients would be older women, and definitely not…

I'll start with something a bit off topic, I do find it interesting that the manga page of this series here has no recommendation, yet the anime is full with recommendations, as in, do the ones writing reviews on the manga a bit to hasty, or the ones who recommend the anime a bit to dirty-minded? Either way, back to the main topic, I must do a disclaimer first, firstly, I haven't seen the manga, but I must say I most likely would check it up if I have the chance, and that I have no knowledge at all about massaging techniques or theories, although I do know about anatomy. With that out of the way, I'll start with, I put the spoiler warning off but this might be a bit of a spoiler that I believe isn't considered as a spoiler, the MC has no sexual drive, or rather, he "turns it off", as he…

Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun SOFTCORE FANSERVICE ! yep thats what I would say to describe the anime its beyond ecchi but a hint of nerdiness and borderline safe measures to keep the anime on " R+ catagory instead of Rx " well if you get to see a bunch of busty girls with mhm " ambition " and some exercise and stretching ain't it 2 birds with a stone ? You are getting the knolwedge of exercise with fanservicethat you drool for ! Jokes aside the anime is fine, the last ep left the spot for a sequel which would be " APPRICIATED " and if Crunchyroll is the platform the anime came in then sure a sequel isn't impossible afterall the manga is still going on as of the date the review is being written . So yeah, the anime is a fun watch tbh and a sequel would't be bad .

I think this is a winner in every way. The story is unique in that it strikes a great balance between sexy and serious. Some drama, some comedy, some harem. Characters each have their own distinct personality that provides different avenues for our MC to challenge. The animation and sound are decent, pretty standard stuff. Love the uncensored version. Episodes are short and to the point. Everything is essential. Our protagonist has a heart of gold and genuinely cares about his girls. He is confident and purposed. Unlike Food Wars which has similar orgasmic cutaways this is almost believable because his hands are pro-grade. It's almost a wholesome ecchi which normally would be contradictory. If this is your thing I think that it's definitely worth a watch.

All other reviews for this anime have completely missed the point. They're all centered on the shallowness of the plot in service of ecchi, the lack of character development, and so on - you couldn't be further off base if you tried. Sawaranaide, Kotesashi-kun is not a boring, run-of-the-mill ecchi anime with some boobs (though, for the record, the boobs are quite nice in this) to keep your waning attention, but an unbelievabley well-written comedy disguised as a boring ecchi. To an ecchi anime's audience, the characters don't matter, their relationships don't matter, the plot doesn't matter - and the writers are keenly aware of this fact. Rather than phone it in, they chose to deliver some of the absolute funniest one-liners I've witnessed in anime in the last couple of years. For the r…

What a shallow anime. This anime has nothing — literally nothing. There’s no story, no character development; the only thing it has is gratuitous nudity, and if I wanted to see that, I’d just watch hentai. Let’s talk about the supposed appeal of the anime, which is the female characters. They are very pretty — after all, that’s all the anime has to offer — but if you take that away, there’s nothing left. Just some shallow little stories. The one that gets the most development is Aroma, but even that isn’t much, and the rest are just there to form a harem for the protagonist. Narratively speaking, the only story I could really notice was the vice principal’s, who for some reason wants to ruin the protagonist’s life — but honestly, what a mess. Still, I don’t know what I was expecting from…

Let's be real: By now, every anime genre is saturated with clichés. Romance, action—you name it, it's tough to find true innovation. Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun isn't reinventing the wheel or poised to change the world, but it delivers a welcome twist: a harem that feels authentically human. Unlike typical setups where perfect waifus obsess over a hapless loser, the girls here—talented athletes at Seiwa High's sports dorm—are flawed and relatable. They can be selfish or prickly, yet kind and multifaceted, without going gaga for protagonist Kouyou Kotesashi. His "magic hands" for massages add a fun, fanservice-y layer, but it's the realistic dynamics that shine. The result? A highly entertaining romp as this oblivious guy dodges romantic pitfalls amid intense training and rivalr…

Hands Off Kotesashi-kun - Ecchi, for the sake of massages? It's been a while since there was a legitimate Ecchi series to enjoy, and while there are many bad ones out there that match themselves closer to Hentai levels for the sake of being such, it can be hard to deduce what is worthy weaving through the temptations of not gassing the nozzle out. In a similar way, mangaka Takuya Shinjo's Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun is a show that should have been made for the degenerates in us, but it ends up serving a niche aspect that, surprise surprise, feels like it has both substance and quality to it. When society hits you with a snag, especially when you are the sole breadwinner in your family to help provide for them, it's not just the decently regular jobs that would pay expenses, but…
