I decided to pick it up solely for the nostalgia but realized it was great, most episodes are one-offs but the main plot was definitely good and unique for an anime for its time and for the demographic.
Especially the characters and their dynamic, they are just simply too lovable, especially Bongo and Gangu. The pacing isn't all that bad, I think 52 episodes was too much for the story, maybe a bit few (around 30-40) would do better. Much of White Bomber's bomb throws had the same animation too but I didn't mind that much.
All in all, I would recommend it especially if you have an inner-child

This is one of my favorite animes of all time. The show, as you guys all know, is based on the videogame series called Bomberman. The story in this cartoon is about the young White Bomber, joining some kind of police force called Jetters.
Of course who would oppose peace, and the Jetters? An "evil" scientist and his own group of tiny little robots, with a blond tan guy as his second in command. Oh and there is another evil scientist that works for him as well.
Surprisingly there are some plot twists, so it's not just a journey from point a to point b. Before these twists all occur, White Bomber must learn how to create different sorts of bombs, and surpass his older brother (who mysteriously disappeared).
It is interesting to note that by the end of the series, White Bomber never actua…

This is my review for Bomberman Jetters, spoiler-free. I first found Bomberman Jetters by playing the game. Later, I found that there was an anime adaptation of Bomberman Jetters and watched it. It was two years ago then since I last watched it. So I decided to write a review for a relatively unknown anime that some had come to like.
Story: 8/10.
The story starts off rather silly and well, periodic with their monster of the week formula and silly objective of protecting the one-of-a-kind item in the universe! Sounds silly enough. It even has running gags that the characters point out. However, it has a sad tone to it when the main titular character, Shirobon, or known as White Bomber, finds out what really happened to his brother, Mighty. Even with the sad parts, it retains its light-hear…

Bomberman Jetters is a winner over most animes I have seen. The story is a fairly easy one to follow and can keep you on your toes waiting for the next one. Bomberman Jetters has a good range of characteristics and has childish and some funny whitty jokes in it and the ending of both seasons made me cry. I suggest Bomberman Jetters anime to anyone that enjoyed B-Daman Bomberman, Stitch!,Pokemon, Lucky Star and other range of comedy animes. Overall, I would say this is by far my favirote anime and I shall I hope to here from Hudson in the anime world.

This is one of the most Epic Video Game based animes I've ever seen, based on the popular japanes video game series from Hudson Soft,Bomberman Jetters is a 52 episode anime tv series
Unlike Most video game animes which adapt storylines directly from the games such as Sonic X,Kirby right back at ya! or Megaman NT Warrior, ect. Bomberman Jetters on the other hand featured a totally new original storyline not based on any Bomberman games where Shirobon is a member of a space police group called the Jetters and has an older brother named Mighty who disapeared on his last mission to fight the Hige Hige bandits.
Shirobon meets a girl named Shout, who has bad tolerance for white bomber at first, but soon become friends, the other team members Shirobon meets are Birdy,Bongo and Gangu, and together eac…

Bomberman, if you liked the game then you will like the anime. You may think that it is a bit childish, that's what I thought as well until one of the main characters die. It is much darker than your normal kid animes. It is very touching about a Shirobon trying to grow up into a Bomberman.
Warning this may not suit those who like bishies in the anime and intricate drawing. It's just something you watch if you like cute little things throwing bombs around.
The animation is good quality, and the drawings are cute ^_^
I especially like the big heads and no mouth.
I don't really notice the sounds as much, so no comment on that. The voice characters of Shirobon is very cute and suits him very well, I especially like it when he goes "Daijoubu" too cute! Mighty and Max's voice is done by the…
