"Kyomu Senshi Miroku" is an action- and violence-packed OVA from the late '80s with decent animation and sound/music, average voice acting, a convoluted plot and stereotypical characters without much depth to them. This anime looks pretty good for 1989 and has tons of gory moments that would make great gifs, that's really the only nice thing I can say about this anime. the story is complete nonsense, no ones motivation for anything is clear and nothings explained that well. it kinda just feels like nonsense soup with a bunch of fighting in-between. the summery of the plot here on MAL tells you way more then the show will. I had no idea the "demons" were actually aliens till I went back and read the description of it again the battles can be pretty cool, creative and gory and like I said it looks good for 1989. 5/10 it's really all style and no substance
