Introduction

The nation of Tempest is in a festive mood after successfully overcoming the surprise attack from the Falmuth Army and the Western Holy Church. Beyond the festivities lies a meeting between Tempest and its allies to decide the future of the Nation of Monsters. The aftermath of the Falmuth invasion, Milim Nava's suspicious behavior, and the disappearance of Demon Lord Carrion—the problems seem to keep on piling up. Rimuru Tempest, now awakened as a True Demon Lord, decides to go on the offensive against Clayman. With the fully revived Storm Dragon Veldora, Ultimate Skill Raphael, and other powerful comrades, the ruler of the Tempest is confident in taking down his enemies one by one until he can face the man pulling the strings. This review is for the entirety of what is currently available on blu ray in North America as of the time of this review (March 2024), which is all of seasons 1 and 2, through episode 48. In mentioning the blu ray, I'd like to start this review by quoting, word for word, the back of the blu ray case for the very beginning of the series- "Ordinary 37-year-old Satoru Mikami dies and is reincarnated as the most unremarkable creature imaginable- a slime. Initially things are pretty grim. He's blind, deaf and weak". There's a bit more, but it's these opening remarks I'd like to discuss. In short, they're very misleading. Perhaps they use the word "initially" very, very loosely, but what ACTUALLY happens is our main character is completely, utterly, laughably overpowered within just the first e…

"THAT TIME I GOT REINCARNATED AS A SLIME 2ND SEASON PART 2" Genre- Action, Adventure, Comedy, Isekai, Fantasy. With the coming of the new age, things are bound to change, and just like that, evolutions keep taking place without us even noticing. They might be as big as an evolution of a human to a monster or as small as a leaf turning to dust. Still, without fail, evolution does happen and in the second part of season 2, we see just that with the "Jura Tempest Federation" and its residence. The 2nd part is more inclined towards politics, the build-up of the story for season 3, and more than anything the introduction of characters that we are likely to see further in the coming seasons. Halting us with the defeat of the 'Kingdom of Falmuth' in its prologue, the 2nd part starts right wher…

The second part of the second season of that time I reincarnated as a slime is great. If the last part was a scale up from regional problems to problems with countries then this part scales it up to dealing with demon lords. The story follows a very similar pattern as it did in the first part of the second season. First there is a lull and the anime slows down to deal with the aftermath of Rimuru becoming a demon lord. After that there is another escalation and things heat up like in the first part. The story stays very interesting and keeps revolving around the worldbuilding and the development of the city/country. This part of the season follows the pattern of adding more different characters. At this point I actually like this system. Instead of having a lot of character development…

I have not written any reviews for any of the previous seasons cause I think the story content and overall execution was fine but for this particular part 2 of the season, its really bad. Ignoring the fact that this is basically another season for an ongoing series, the actual content explored in the story is not worth a 12 episode season. Spoilers ahead but compared to so many other shows out there, who enjoys a season that amounts to 6 episodes of pure debating and then followed by some one sided action with no in universe tension. It is cathartic to see one sided fights but that only works when there is tension to go along with it. What make it so satisfying is seeing someone get their just desserts that deserves it and that does happen here but its the only thing that happens this sea…

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season Part 2 At first, the Slime anime really captivated me, although the setting was overused, this show had appeal and charisma. With the constant growth of Rimuru and his empire, you could see how the protagonist deals with different scenarios in this world and what alliances he makes. Unfortunately, this was implemented in a worse and more monotonous way over time, making it almost a running gag. And Part 2 is no exception. 6/12 episodes refer only to slice-of-life moments and various gatherings and meetings where the protagonists made their plans. Unfortunately, there was no tension whatsoever, nor were these episodes entertaining in any way. It comes down to the same thing over and over again. Rimuru sits around with his "Thehe" reaction, new…

While the last season of slime was really disappointing, the last few episodes gave me hope for the next season. Well it seems I was wrong. Episodes 1 - 6: Just like in the last season, nothing happens in these episodes. Instead of actually progressing the plot, they attempt to talk about the politics of this world and completely fail. Its like watching the council of rivendell writen by a self learing AI. Here are some of the highlights: 1) In the last season Rimuru completely massacred a whole army leaving no survivor and consuming their souls or some shit. This reminded me of the Massacre at Kazte Plains from overlord. In that show it was a big wake up call for the enitre world that they need to do something about Ainz. In this show the other kings congratulate Rimuru on leaving no su…

After the way the last season ended you know I was hyped for more of this show. It's hard to keep an isekai fresh over a long period of time, especially as the genre has exploded in the last decade to encapsulate a large market of the medium. The ones that get more than one season are the ones that were really special or memorable in some way, and the fact that we're here at all is a testament to how fun this series can be when it's at it's best. So after the big climax of the part 1 we get a little bit of a breather as the characters regroup for their next big conflict. Most of the season is just ramping up to that. There's just something so primally satisfying about the way Rimiru absolutely bodies all competition. He doesn't even face the big bad himself, saying it would be like beatin…

the show follows the trend of the previous seasons, rimuru's faction stomping everyone and recruiting followers, this time he got his most powerful asset yet (veldora) the anime keeps exploring the world building which is nice but, what's the point? everything is too easy, everyone just seems to agree with rimuru's plans and barely few are a threat to his faction. the anime is getting to a stalemate where everything is too predicatble since they never lose or die (as show in the previous part where he ressurects everyone who died in the last battle) and there doesnt seem to be anything new that moves the story forward. can't avoid to not mention how atrocius those first 5 episodes where, 90% of the cast is just sitting in the same room talking about future/past events, horrible.

Story: 5 episodes on a meeting that should've taken 5 minutes. Appalling. I spent 5 weeks waiting for a new episode but got hit with the same thing for 5 weeks. Art: The best thing going for it so I have to give it something. Sound: I don't even remember it so it wasn't bad. Very mediocre and forgettable. Character: Quantity over quality. You can't even remember half the character names. Enjoyment: None Overall: Mid. Nothing going for it. Had so much potential but wasted it. Character development is terrible or nonexistent, the plot is scarce, and 5 episodes on a meeting. Longer than a whole cultural festival arc. Meeting arc mid.

I don't have any complaints with art or sound but the story dragged too much. They could have finished this story within 6 episodes but dragged to 12. In my opinion it wastes time unnecessarily. The pace is that of One Piece. The story was not bad but it was too short. All that for defeating one enemy. The art and sound were up to standard. Not too bad but not too good either. Only very few new character were introduced because of the pace of story. It was too much boring because of the pace and I didn't like it. It is trash compared to first season

This will include my overall review from both seasons! Also, I would give this a 7.5 if I could! As I searched for shows to watch, this one kept popping up in 'recommended' or on 'most popular' lists. While I love anything based in a fantastical setting, this one just never interested me enough. However, I recently decided that maybe I trust the hype about this show and give it a chance - and - I am very glad I did. With that said, here are my pros and cons! First, I will say it was a slow start for me during the first few episodes of season one, and there was a lot of exposition and world-building. So much so I nearly didn't continue, but it does start to pick up, resulting in the pacing throughout the end of season one and all of season two to be far better! More so, many shows have a…

To be fair you can't use same value to review sequel anime and fresh anime. This second season court 2 are climax from Clayman theatrical play. It bring us to the 'Walpurgis' somehow it feel not satisfying. We know Rimuru become the awakening Demon Lord and one of Octagram but the conflict still unfinished. The good point from this court we can see some action from Rimuru subordinate like Benimaru, Geld, Gabiru. We also see the surprise reaction from Tempest Allied Nation (King Gazzel etc) because Veldora release and Rimuru awakening. Oh also we got tease of Rimuru real enemy, the one behind Clayman and his circus troops. I hope Walpurgis can show us more about another Demon Lord ability but I guess we can wait for another season. In conclusion just keep a good work and we hope we will h…

Second part of the isekai of the slime. It is another season of action this part because there are fights everywhere, accompanied by political strategies. We see the secondary characters evolve more and not only that but more interesting characters are added. The animation accompanies how good the plot of the series is, with this we also see a new scale of power. We see how rimuro gives them all. In short, I recommend that you watch the anime very entertaining.adadadadadadadadadadad We can see how our protagonists return to plan a long-term goal to make the city of Rimuro grow more. With this there is not only one plan but several that are carried out by different characters. I can only say that I will play with anias next season and I hope I can enjoy it with you. I'm not going to lie, I haven't been enjoying Slime for a while now. The latter part of season one and the first part of second season were really forgettable. I figured it was building to something decent, and that we would just have to hold out for it to get good. And what it delivered was actually pretty decent! The world is fleshed out more and we see poetic justice to characters we despise. It may upset people that Clayman has always been this looming final boss for a while, but him getting rocked really shows the progress made by Rimuru and the potential for more development. This show still remains very mid in my mind, like many isekai, but it's story and animation is back on the right track. Yay for not failure!

Story: (3/10) Really slow and too much passive scene (discussion, talking, etc.). The ending was very bad. How could Milim play dead just for fun while destroying other people village? That doesn't make any sense. Art: (5/10) Average. Sound: (7/10) No different than other anime. I like cute kawaii sounds so I give it good rate. Character: (4/10) There isn't much character progress through the story. The Milim ending part is the worst part. Destruction just for play? And Rimuru okay with all that? I assume building town is easy in that world. But destruction in other Devil King's kingdom is insane. Enjoyment: (4/10) Decent. I enjoyed some scene like the evolution of Rimuru becomes Devil King, and the rebirth of Veldora. But Veldora in human form is pretty disappointing and doesn't look…

This review may or may contain spoilers as some mild instances from the anime would get jotted down as i review it. Successing its season 2 part 1 , this anime turned to be the most hyped anime this season. It really followed some common anime principles which are not satisfying to every anime watcher. It is considered as one of the most hyping isekai shows of all time. People just wait for the boss demon fights and slime evolution every episode to entertain their eyes. But actually thing is something else. "Quantity over quality". This very statement is totally followed in this whole anime(not only this part 2) and i pretty much guess that same thing was followed in " kumo desuga na ni ka?"...Overwhelmed with a vast number of characters filled with some really intriguing or weird names…

Really boring season as half of part 2 of the season is LITERALLY JUST TALKING. Yabba labba dabba doo that's all you'll be hearing for the first half of the season because it's literally mostly just meetings on meetings. The very end is where the actual actions happens, so you're going to have to suffer to get to the good parts like a metal kinder egg that contains money inside. My positive comments are the female characters, the sound effects, they are nice. The art is same as always. Just can't believe part 2 would be this underwhelming. Didn't really get to see a lot of the stuff I was anticipating to see at the end, or especially a lot of Veldora. I guess the references are fine as well? I mean I guess it makes sense not much happened, It seems like the anime has pretty much caught up…

Another year, another Slime. Remember when we had to actually wait for more content? Not that I'm complaining but this feels like it should have been one season along with art one. You can say that part 1 was a setup, a build-up for what to come, however, the way things carried away, with a painfully slow start for the better first half of the season onwards to the third to last episode, I'd say it would have killed the enjoyment had they been one packaged season. This is, as some people would say, Attack on Titan's season three-part one of the series, a lot of politics and dialogue, putting things aside and listing a huge checkmark to what to be done in the future, it expands the world further and introduces many characters that finally close the circle of void confusion that was always…

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season Part 2 definitely had me excited going into it from how the previous part had left off, but I will admit I wasn't too into it towards the start. That being said however I really did love the closing few episodes, it reached a really satisfactory conclusion and without spoiling the final event definitely lived up to the way it was built up for most of the season. The cast has definitely grown quite large by now but I think most of the characters are really strong and I loved a lot of the newer ones introduced this season as well. It's great to see how far everyone has grown since season 1 as well and the recognition that out main cast has received. I think the animation this season seemed a bit weaker than the previous ones, there was some questio…
