At this point, I think The Seven Deadly Sins had officially lost me a little. I still cared about the characters and wanted to see how everything would end, but the excitement I had for the earlier seasons was mostly gone. It started feeling like I was watching more out of obligation than genuine hype. There are moments that remind me why I liked this series in the first place, especially whenever the Sins are actually together, but the story had become increasingly difficult for me to stay emotionally invested in. And honestly, the animation situation definitely did not help. Not terrible, just disappointing. I wanted to love the final stretch of this story, but instead I mostly found myself thinking: "Please, just let this end properly." Score: 6/10

I loved this conclusion to this Seven Deadly Sins series. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. But I still loved the story and fights. Now, lots of people are complaining about how the quality of animation dropped compared to the first seasons, and they would be right, there was definitely a decline. But honestly, it didn't bother me all the much. For me, the animation and fight scenes were still pretty good. And the story is still pretty compelling. Loved the twists and turns that the plot takes. It was fast paced and there are no lull moments. (Although I believe the whole chaos part could honestly be skipped, it felt forced and rushed). All in all, I find the whole series and its conclusion to be very satisfying.

Bad to the point of becoming a reference for how not to do it. It's difficult to talk about Nanatsu no Taizai: Funnu no Shinpan without immediately addressing the most glaring issue: the animation. Just like with One Punch Man in fan discussions, this season carries a heavy reputation even before being calmly analyzed, but here, unfortunately, the bad reputation is no exaggeration. The animation isn't just a technical detail; it's half the experience in an action anime. And when that half fails so obviously, everything else crumbles along with it. What was already a story with an uneven pace and questionable development becomes even more compromised. Moments that should be impactful simply lack strength because the visual execution doesn't sustain the emotion. The problems are hard to i…

I will have to say, if you've watched the previous seasons and want an ending to the story you've been following for years, then watch this.. But I have to say, this story is full of plot holes at this point. Characters are also beginning to act out of character in certain situations and also, things that some of them have been questioning all of the seasons because they didn't know, now in some flashbacks it shows that exact thing that they "didn't know" in sitauations involving those characters.. Might be a weird explanation, but basically just more plot holes and stuff that doesn't make sense.. But this isn't even the worst part of it.. The worst part is the animations.. They've become so sloppy! This is especially in regard to the fighting scenes... If you look at season 1 and 2, yo…

This whole adaptation was a complete clown show by an incompetent animation studio starting with its second season and keeps going down ever since. I'm not the "manga was better" type of guy; an average animation does the job for me to enjoy it, but for this series it definitely is and there is a huge gap between the quality of the manga and the anime. Fights are usually images of characters standing still and a flash of light with a piercing sound on the background. This is "animation" as they call it. Story wise, I cannot say good things either, I hate the fact that everything has to revolve around Meliodas because he's the "main character" but has nothing interesting in his story writing that would make him feel like an actual MC. Escanor for me was the best bit of this series, I thi…

I’d probably rate this season about the same as the previous three. That said, I’m starting to wonder if a 7 might be a bit too generous for this anime—but for now, I’ll stick with it. Honestly, this is one of the hardest anime I've had to rate. It’s not boring to watch, but it’s also not particularly exciting either. Season 4 does have quite a few solid twists—real, proper twists that keep things interesting—but even with those, it still doesn’t take my breath away. The impact just isn’t strong enough. One recurring issue for me is the overly dramatic love story. It feels like the core theme of the whole anime, and while I don’t mind romance in general, this one is just way too sweet and sentimental. It ends up being more annoying than touching. One thing I’m sure of: I won’t be rewatc…

Now for the review lol. The shows not the best but it's not the worst. Its a bit better than average. It does everything mediocre except for the story and character design in my opinion. The characters are original, and have depth. Each one experiences a lot of character development over the 5 seasons. The story reminds me of a pure fantasy story. Like a fairytale out of a story book with lots of twists, turns, and with lots of emotion. Albeit they do use the same techniques and ideas over again as plot devices. However almost all longer animes they do this maybe just not as much. More than the fairytale story that it first seems like and Many people view it as, I view this as one long love story which isn't mentioned much here but that's what this show is from beginning to end. A story…

Let me start by giving my opinion on the series as whole before i get to this specific seasons critique. The seven deadly sins is mid fan service, its so painfully mid, which mind you, does not mean its bad, or horrible, its just there... nothing special, which is painful because there were moments where this could have been amazing, they have the characters, they have the character design, a big cast... but alas...theres too many weirdo pedo themes in it, too many characters being suspiciously young looking and too many older characters getting into relationships with them for no good reason, like i can list the number of times its happened, its bizarre the most vile one was ban who is a really old immortal character, who fell in love with this loli ass fairy character, who looks like a…

Nanatsu no Taizai: Funnu no Shinpan And this is where the plane finally crashes. After hearing years ago that the third season was going to be a disaster, I at least hoped that the fourth season would fix it. I thought to myself, this must be an exception, time pressure? Stress? But no, here with the fourth season the low point in quality is set. It should be forbidden to even charge money for this because no quality standards are being met here. Despite the massive disappointment, I got through the third season relatively well, at least there was still plenty of story, structure, and character background. But I can no longer say that here. This season is a pure disaster. Not only was the worst arc in the manga adapted here. It had an immensely stupid, broken power system, but also a mas…

I love seven deadly sins and would reccommend it to anyone because the story and characters are brilliant. That said, it is a huge let down as an anime with lots of fight scenes. Comparing it to season 1 and 2 it was painful to watch. It was like watching a slide show, there were no good transitions and the animation is reminiscent of anime that came out in the early 2000s. I understand that studios changed and there was a time constraint but fans deserved better. They probably knew they could get away with it to because those that love the show would power through to the end because the story is great. I would reccommend it for the story but the animation is hugely lackluster and took away the excitement.

7 DS is one whether you hate it, love it , or just confused on your feelings. There were moments while watching that I considered dropping it, and other times where I found myself invested. I would really only recommend this to people who are just starting anime. There are so many great shounen animes that after watching those and then watching this I was disappointed and at times bored. One of the redeeming qualities from this anime besides the pretty colours is the characters and relationships. I personally fell in love with Ban and sometimes I believe I was only watching to see his relationship unfold with Elaine. The same for King and Diane and even Meliodas and Elizabeth (although Its obvious since episode one). You don't lose anything really watching this anime, and all in all it…

// SPOILERS // i just finished tsds FINALLY. i stopped watching after s2 and didn’t bother to finish because of the bad reviews for the last two seasons. it wasn’t actually too bad and i still enjoyed the story. But it got a little boring having a battle after battle, after battle. it felt rushed too. i was also kinda disappointed about Zeldris. he had so much potential but it felt like he was just a bad imitation of Meliodas; actually his whole character is just being his little brother. everything that he does ties back to Meliodas. and the whole chaos thing WAS chaos. it was made out to be a big deal but then was resolved so quickly and i had a hard time understanding it. i’m just disappointed since i really liked the first season.

"Yeah, we'll always be friends. Let's all see each other again." - MELIODAS NANATSU NO TAIZAI (Season 1 & 2) have been very special to me. I still remember the 'fantasy' feeling every time I recollect those seasons. Too bad we have to part with NNT this way. "[Animation Quality & Fast Pacing]" ruined this season is what I will say, in short. Realizing how disappointing this is, I had to 'fast forward' watch the episodes. One of the show which I desperately wanted to get done with. Animation aside, some episodes really had some great moments, especially the last episodes which were emotional. MELIODAS has been my favorite character since season 1. He is childish, yet more mature than anyone else. Favorite episode : 24 ----> [ELIZABETH x MELIODAS = TRISTAN] in the end. *happy end…

I find myself completely appalled that this was actually released. You would of thought it was a parody of 7DS that a Youtuber made in 2009 because of how poorly it was done. I don't want to waste anyone's time and write a 10,000 word review so I'm going to keep it short and sweet covering main points that left me floored... Animations 2/10 There was 0 fluidity to any movements in the last part of this season which made it nearly impossible to watch. If you fired 90% of the animators at the very beginning of production and left the other 10% to finish everything before a deadline, this is what you'll get. YES, I know that animation is not everything but compared to the seasons prior, this is embarrassing to say the least. Sound 3/10 The sound of movements/actions of characters not al…

The End of a Deadly Sin. I'm just really sad. The Seven Deadly Sins is one of my favourite manga's and on one hand I'm sad that it's over, but on the other I'm relieved. I don't blame Studio Deen for what happened to season 3 anymore. I blame the high ups of A-1 Pictures who shat the bed when the original (and pretty under marketed/ disappointing) movie didn't sell well leading them to make Studio Deen to pick up the pieces. I also blame Studio Deens and netflix's high ups for not delaying the season which I could only imagine lead to months of over crunched animators and artists ultimately resulting in a one of the worst, defective disasters in anime I've seen in a long time. The final season was a chance to really show off Studio Deen's potential without all of those complications.…

Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate Sate The worst season of the whole series. Story: So I started to hate the story starting in season 4. , or the previous season. But this season was just ridiculous. The first half was all over the place just like last season. However, after episode 12, it seems like the anime had to satisfy 24 episodes requirements, so the story became unnecessary and pointless. Art: Same problem that I always had with this series. Can't take things seriously if the characters look like kid toys and angry babies. Sound: Decent. Nothing to talk about Character: As the story started to become more convoluted and random, the relationship between Meliodas and E…

Very Simply put:- NO SPOILERS, NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF. It's BAD. That's all. Really, really, really bad. Imagine the worst anime in your mind [anything but hametsu no mars], and this anime takes its place slightly better than that anime, most probably. This show had reached that point, where its own fan base began to grow hate, more so anger towards what became of their wonder egg; as it became rotten and rotten as each episode passed by. Last season, it was the animation, BUT THE STORY WAS A BANGER OF A 9. But then, came white blood, but then they decided fine no blood at all. Then they went full out and put lots of red and maroon blood, and soon after went back to white blood. While all along, using still images for action sequences making kids with playing with toy figurines produce b…

I still remember when I watched season 1 I was so hyped for this story and was looking forward to it, but it disappointed me to the extent that I didn't even care for the show when season 5 was airing, I don't have to explain what killed this show, Season 4 of this show was disappointing, not only animation wise but story-wise too. In season 4 the story turned into a 3rd class love story and I felt a strong sense of detachment from the show, and the animation messed up the most anticipated fight in the recent years of all anime "Meliodas vs Escanor". Season 4 is like someone is trying to band-aid your bullet wound. The damage was already done and I lost all interest in the show, but for keepsake I watched it and everything about season 5 was just bearable throughout the 24 episodes. Be it…

Well last season of the seven deadly sins. The truth since the change of animation studio the series declined a lot. The animation before was good or very good, it became bad or average. In the following seasons. In this last season at times the animation is more than decent but then there is an incredible novel fall. This inconsistency makes it very difficult to see because for a moment you are seeing something well animated and the next scene is shit. But taking that out, we already see the end of this saga and the truth is I would have liked to see a little more. I feel disappointed I finished watching it because it was already the end but if I am honest I cannot recommend watching this anime knowing that the first 2 seasons were very good and then they become not garbage but an insult…

Season 3, despite not having good animation, actually had a great story and worldbuilding and I was hyped for season 4, thinking that they would learn from their mistake. WELL, this season, not only the animation was bad, but even the plot. It was a naval battle rather than a combat anime from the amount of ships there were. Repetitive story, way too forced to continue (cath becoming a demon because why not). Power levels start not making any sense at all, Galiard was able to cut kilometers distant mountains with wind pressure with 40k power, Meliodas seem to have less power despite having 25 times more. Needs a remake not only in animation, but even plotwise (yeah I know it's not that easy and it will not get it but it does need it)
