Overview 👁️🗨️
Coming back after the events at the meteor festival of Beastars Season One, this season comes back where Louis, the prime candidate for the next Beastar rejects the offer and goes missing. While this is happening, Legoshi embarks on a journey to find the carnivore that killed Tem from Season One. Throughout this season, we see Louis as a mob boss, Legoshi going on a training arc to reinvent himself, and tensions rising throughout Cherryton Academy as the distrust for carnivores grow.
Story/Plot ⏳
The plot of this season was very different to its predecessor tonally. While the first season focused more on its romance and slice of life elements, this season followed a more dark, gritty, mystery oriented feel. I was completely fine with the tone shifting here, because one…

Loved this season! I enjoyed the opening once again, Beastars never misses with their openings! Yoasobi is one of my favorite Japanese artists. This season gave me major Neo-Noir vibes with its intense mystery in finding Tem's killers and uncovering the hidden secrets of the black market. Two of my favorite characters both Legoshi and Louis really developed more as characters but I was more proud of Louis. Legoshi is training more and gradually building his strength and detective skills. As for Louis, he really impressed me because not only did he become the leader of the Shishigumi, a powerful mafia style group of carnivores but you can tell that he wanted to reject his past and become a new version of himself. For years, he let the marking on under his feet define who he w…

What a fantastic continuation of the "begging" little wolf!
The second season of Beastars Season 2 not only maintains the level of the first but also deepens everything that made the work stand out. Here, the story ceases to be just an introduction to the world and fully immerses itself in its consequences, especially the mystery surrounding Tem.
From the beginning, this crime hung like a shadow over the narrative, and finally we have the development and resolution of this plot. The way the suspense is conducted is very efficient; it's not just about discovering "who did it," but understanding why it happened. And when the answer comes, it carries enormous emotional and symbolic weight, reinforcing the central themes of the series.
The focus remains on Legoshi, and it is here that he tr…

This part begins to focus more on criticism of society than on relationships, the development of the protagonist is satisfactory and the suspense is well crafted, much better than in season one. There is an undeniable improvement compared to the first part, both in the plot and in the universe of the anime, without leaving anything to be desired in the characters' relationships, but undeniably leaving the protagonist a little more aside, which honestly was an improvement for the work in general.
It has very striking scenes, new and more relevant criticisms and symbolism, and a magnificent OST, it's well worth seeing.

I am not even gonna bother writing a long review.
- Nothing makes sense here. Story. Characters. Dialogues. World. Coherence between character relevance and screen time. All of it is absurd.
- The slight possibility that there is actual social criticism (people assume there is in S1 but no one really agrees what is the criticism about), is all in your mind. It doesn't exist.
- Characters are trash. Most of them already were in S1, and they still are. The ones that didn't suck or didn't talk enough to do it, now they do. Zero development or incoherent development for all of them.
- They build up hype for an ending that's extremely anticlimactic.
overall a huge pile of s***. Don't waste your time, I gave a 2 because I kinda like the animation, but I wouldn't disagree with someone rating…

Season two of Beastars does basically everything the same as the first season.
Story 8/10
We get to see the amazingly intriguing animal society of Beastars again. This time the story is split in two we have Legosi's story of drama and struggles and then we have Luis' rather meaningless story. The drama portion with Legosi is just as fun to watch as in the first season, and luckily takes up most of the season. We also have some not so great action again this season.
Characters 9/10
No noticeable changes in the quality of character writing.
Art 9/10
The 3DCG and camerawork are top-notch, at least in anime standards. 2D models of characters look far better this time.
Sound 9/10
The same as last season, just amazing. However, there weren't many new songs, which was a real bummer.
Enjoymen…

I wanted to give this one a 9/10 I really did...
The second season comes out swinging the stories from season one aren't glossed over as in some shows but are expanded upon and are instrumental to season twos really strong start.
I got into Beastars because of a guy I have a huge crush on, thinking I would watch a few episodes and tell him it just wasn't for me. But wow this second season had me gasping in shock, shouting at the still at times infuriating interactions between Characters and crying over the meaningful decisions they had to make
Season two is also where the real world connections really get you to think about how this little Animal-Anime opens our eyes to the problems we face in our own society.
Really I am just said about the ending as it could've been the perfect end…

this anime i something new to me with great concept...
in past i have seen many animal based anime but there was always something missing in the ...
for example take "ZOOTOPIA":--it has great world building. the writer and animator have used big brain behind the world construction that how different types of animal with different sizes can live together. but in that movie nature of an animal is not shown ..that how can they live in this harmony. What about their animal instinct, natures.
But in this anime its highlighted the nature of each animal mainly carnivorous and herbivores ,that what is difference between and how can they can they not live together...
what its need to live together...each animal have their personality and beliefs..
this is great anime just watch it.....

In this season a plot from the beginning of the first season is taken up, which is the murder of Tem the Alpaca, that fact that left the entire school in great darkness and dividing the species more, but this season I think it does not have the same essence than the first one, you have those philosophical problems and you can also compare the world they do in the anime with the real world, but I think the way they do it is not as good as the first one, as this one focuses on the Legoshi's masculinity and how he wants to protect herbivores because that's his responsibility, there are some plots that were left in the air from the previous season and that they don't finish or follow, but it's still very enjoyable.
It is like in the previous one, it has a beautiful animation, which, a…

MUST WATCH
Entertaining anime and first 11 episodes are very good . Ending is a little bit off .
This anime has a lot of potential and execution is also good.
The pace and how the story progression is well executed . Every character building is good and entertaining like Louis , Legoshi, Pina , Riz , Ikubi and characters way of thinking is almost understandable . I liked Louis character the most (till episode 11) . But somehow they messed up the ending and disturbed the Louis character.
My personal Ratings first 11 episodes 9/10 last episode 5/10 Overall 8/10

After a stellar first season, this one was kind of disappointing. While I recognise that the season went full on into shakespearean themed writing, I have to feel like the basic storytelling of the first season was left behind. Because I don't want to spoil anything that happenes, I will talk about what doesn't happen this season, and why that disappoints me.
First of all, and most importantly, the whole romance subplot (if you can even call it that in season 1, it was basically the main plot) is just gone. The main character seems to loose all interest in the cute bunny girl and their romance doesn't develope in any way. Its not like they have a real falling apart over a certain issue, it feels more like the writers just wanted to write something different, so gone is the romance (which…

I would have never imagined myself lurking in anything Beastars related, let alone, the review section of the sequel to a show so controversial and heated by the fandom back in the day. Beastars changed something in what I expected from a show, the saying “don't judge a book by its cover” was never this relatable for me. I praised the first season and to this day I keep recommending and annoying my friends about watching it, I thought it tingled the pinnacle of what it set out to be, and then the second season was released. The landscape had changed a lot since then, but a solid show always manages its footing.
Much like season one. Beastars 2nd season was as abrupt, as direct, and as bold in its start. It folds in the story as if the seasons were released back to back, no time wasted on…

Beastars 2nd season is conclusion of 2 big story. First conclusion is the reveal of Tem killer. The second conclusion is the conflict between Legoshi and Louis. Yes two big event and bunch of development character in supporting cast. I can say the second season is good but it will not have good closure if you hoped development in love department.
In second season Beastars get boosting in music department they have YOASOBI to fill the opening and the ending. We also see the history of Louis and his father, why the beastars is very important to keep peace between carnivore and herbivore.
In conclusion 2nd season is good closure of mysteries that has been set in fist season. We will see how Legoshi and the cast grow to better version of their self. But you can only watch it on Netflix. I f…

If there was ever a show to make furry culture bask in the highlight is “Beastars”. It is a manga adaptation with studio Orange in charge of the animation, and by deciding to go all in with s full 3D animated show, it took up a huge challenge from the get-go.
As far as animation goes, “Beastars” is pretty well animated and the actions and moments that occur throughout the show hit the marks. However, as far as 3D animation goes, studio Orange hits it out of the park creating one of the best 3D animated series ever. It’s not clunky and weird looking like other shows in the category and maybe because the characters are all animals and the plot revolves around their traits, but it works beautifully.
Speaking of plot, “Beastars” is very well wr…

I personally believe that the first season was better but that's just me. The relationship dynamic between Legoshi and Haru angered me a lot because they were on the fence for the whole season and never once really had a chance to be together and I partially blame Legoshi for that. I was mad at a lot of the characters in the season because so many made stupid or careless mistakes (talking about you Legoshi and Ruis). The ending was also ended on a very mysterious note so I hope there becomes another season where Legoshi and Haru get together and figure themselves out. I think the main reason why I gave this season such a high rating is my love for the characters and it's connection to season 2. Still, I would recommend this anime to anyone who is okay with animal/human beings.

Spoilers ahead!! Sorry for any mistakes, I hastily wrote this after re-watching the season again!!
I really liked the first season of Beastars - everything was really interesting and the concept of the friendship between Carnivore and Omnivore was a really engaging conversation to watch play out. The second season though, in my opinion, went back on the message that the first season worked hard to put forward.
A lot of the problems I have with the second season stem for the writing and that isn't to the fault of the art or sound departments - everything about season 2 was technically amazing as always! The ending however couldn't be saved by the talent and hardwork of everyone, the fact that Legoshi had to eat meat to overpower the villain of this arc, Riz, really didn't sit right with m…

At the beginning I was enjoying the anime. Till at the end I felt like I was getting punk'd.
The start of the show I was really enjoying. I really liked the art as it showed both 2d and 3d. And normally 3d style look terrible at times on anime. But the 3d art is actually quite nice, it's not gimmicky nor robotic looking or anything shitty looking. Although the 2d art is brief I still enjoyed looking at it. The art is very unique and I really liked it. I also liked how the anime show different perspective of the characters. Where as the audience you get to hear the thoughts of the characters as what they think in situations and how they feel about it. These perks made the anime uniquely own as you don't get to see this much from other anime. But…

It was okay, though the start seemed out more promising than how the show later propells. I was excited to begin it at first, but the anticipation is disappointing. However the characters are still amazing, and animation, and all. But it just doesn't have the same vibe as season 1. I did finish it though, which I'm glad about. I didn't like how it ended, it was very daunting. And quite a cliffhanger to be sure.
I don't like how he goes against his values and eats meat at the end. It just weakens what Rouis really is as a person, he couldve lived with his wound and scar his whole life and made something positive out of it but he chooses to completely remove it as iif it had never existed. The trauma is still there, just hidden.

Beasters 2nd Season
Really, despite all expectations, Beasters impressed me a lot and probably developed into an anime that I can speak positively about in the future.
And the result of the second season does little to change that.
I said this, but the second season has dropped massively in quality. While this season stayed true to the characters and continued to present a lot of detail to build up the personalities of Louis and Legoshi. Haru was practically just in the background here, as she has hardly been a Topic this season.
The best part of this season, of course, was the plot around the "killer", his true identity, and the confrontation. Honestly, it gave me a slight How to get away with Murder/Dexter and The Mentalist vibe. The atmosphere was indeed impressive. But this was…
