Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?

Introduction

Forming a party with one's mother in an online game seems not only unlikely but also uncomfortable to most teenage gamers. Unfortunately, Masato Oosuki finds himself in that exact scenario. After completing a seemingly meaningless survey, he is thrown into the world of a fantasy MMORPG—and his mother Mamako actually tagged along with him! On top of all of that, Mamako turns out to be an overpowered swordswoman, possessing the power of two-hit multi-target attacks! After minor tension between the two, they search for party members, meeting the merchant Porta and the sage Wise, starting their journey to clear the game. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

To be honest, this anime is a piece of garbage. The mother is some kind of almighty being who solves everything with zero effort (though that's the point, since the show parodies itself with that later on). There isn't a single memorable character or moment. Maybe the tiger-girl (Amante) made me crack a smile once or twice, but that's about it; everything else is pretty forgettable. The enemy monsters are hideously ugly and generic, and the same goes for the art, background design, and the animation in general. Honestly, I don't know how I sat through 12 episodes of this plus the OVA, even if I did binge it on a free Sunday afternoon. I could only "recommend" it if you're into isekai or for people who like video games; I don't know, or if you have some weird problem. I guess it's okay t…

Imagine someone watching konosuba but now give also give them a crippling addiction to MILF porn and unresolved mommy issues and expect them to spin a wheel between the three to see what your going to have happen each episode; That pretty much entirely sums up the experience of watching this anime. This anime goes 110% all in into mommy and mommy adjacent everything right from the get go. The premise fallows a guy who gets isekaied into a video game of his dreams only to find out that his mom is also in it and also happens to be comically overpowered and given cheat skills throughout it. Which only get worse when you find out that the actual purpose of the isekai world is to send moms and their kids so they can get “closer” The story it self honestly isn’t the worst, for as much as it…

All right, let me put it this way... this anime is one of those titles that you watch partly out of curiosity, partly for the memes, and partly because you want to see if it really is as strange as it sounds. Spoiler alert: it is. 😅 The story begins like a classic isekai: a boy finds himself in an RPG game... only with his own mum. And no, that's not a metaphor. At first, the idea seems quite amusing; it's supposed to be a parody of all the isekai clichés, and at the same time a bit of a comedy about the relationship between a mother and her son. And indeed, at times it works. Masato's mother is charming, overly sweet, and the whole ‘mum does everything better’ theme can be comical. The problem? The humour wears thin very quickly. After a few episodes, you get the impression that you're w…

This is an ecchi comedy about a boy who gets isekai'd alongside his bubbly, ditzy mom. Oh, it's also about the deep reservoir of pain and darkness that a family can hold. If that sounds like a crazy balancing act, that's because it is. I think it handles these elements as well as anything in this format possibly could, though evidently many disagree. You should know that first and foremost, this is a comedy. If you tend to think anime comedy and Japanese humor in general isn't funny, you should give this one a hard pass. The jokes in the show are... hm. Imagine Dad Jokes. Now make them Mom Jokes. And Japanese. And insane. There are boob jokes. There are hot springs made of milk. The unit of currency in this world is "mams." There are episodes with titles like "Underwear is Armor. Make…

To be honest this anime is not worth watching it can be an ova instead of series but if you are ok with some absurd cringe comedy anime than you can dive headfirst into it. Story: A Premise So Wild It's Almost Genius Let's be real, the premise alone is enough to raise eyebrows higher than a Saiyan's power level. A high schooler gets sucked into an VRMMORPG only to discover his overly doting (and ridiculously powerful) mother is joining him as a party member? And she's obsessed with helping him? It's bizarre, it's uncomfortable, and honestly, it's so out there that you can't help but be morbidly curious about where this trainwreck of familial affection is headed. The plot itself is fairly standard fantasy RPG fare, but the constant, overbearing motherly presence injects a level of "what the…

If I have one word to describe this show it would be: Weird. If you've read other reviews, you've heard all the major points. Incest undertones, unnecessary fan service, the overbearing mother, etc. etc. I'll try to cover some things that I haven't seen others cover. Story: The main issue this has from a writing stand point is that it doesn't know what it wants to be and when it does decide to take a direction, it picks probably the worst one. Initially it resembles a comedy about a son and his clingy mother in a Isekai. The jokes work and while its not spectacular, it seems like its going to be fun and your sympathy for the protagonist doesn't come from relatability or a point of liking him but from feeling sorry for him. You want to see him get a win somewhere despite his tiger mom…

It was fine, only fine, is about the best praise I can give. It's a video game themed isekai with a main cast of immature teenagers, familiar trappings for the genre. The characters have a very familiar dynamic to other titles and there are moments of humor and quips, but for the most part it felt dry. The drama was low stakes, you know Mamako is either going to win by violence or win by pulling out a new power or just "power of love" by talking. The one thing about isekai power fantasies that can invest a viewer is seeing that power grow and change with meaning. Mamako starts out essentially at level 20 and just develops spontaneous new abilities whenever the plot dictates. Which, yes, is a staple of the genre, but they materialize out of nowhere. Seeing Masashi grow as a person was nice,…

I loved this anime just as much as I hate my mother, so I'm giving it a full 10/10. No, I'm not out of my mind - the real madness is that this masterpiece, this absolute unit, this groundbreaking work of art, is rated only 5.5/10. Mommy issues, perhaps? Mamako is adorable - she's the M.I.L.F. everyone needs but that we don't deserve; in particular, the M.I.L.F. the MC doesn't deserve. He will never see the truth, unfortunately. She's hot, she's fun, she's genuine, she's hot, she's resourceful, she's kind, she's hot, she's a bit naive and air-headed at times, I will admit this much, but that only adds to her charm. Also, she's hot. A M.I.L.F. that can easily pass as a teenager, with all that overflowing Ara-Ara energy and such an explosive body. Exactly HOW can you give this anime anythin…

I watched it once back in early 2020 and just rewatched, but my feelings about this... thing, didn't changed whatsoever. This story got a nice plot, a nice backbone as a new way to think about isekais and all that stuff, but they just toss it all away with the way that Mamako is represented Don't take me wrong, I also do enjoy ecchis and stuff and I watched a lot of them already, but that's not the point here. "Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de Ni-kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki desu ka?" got a really nice start going from family issues to a couple of forms of it in the moms that show up during the anime, but I feel like it all got lost when no one can focus on the damn parental issue while Mamako is designed to make teens got turned on. All go around getting together with your moms and…

Even though this review is written weirdly my opinion is still clear in this one. ALSO MINOR SPOILERS I THINK. Mothers, they can be f*** if they are not your mother at least that is what I am learning from this anime. Because for the simple reason that the main character (I forgot his name) is disgusted by the naked looks of his mother. He doesn’t want to see her naked and I understand that feeling. Now there are messages in this anime that are really sweet but there are a lot but I mean a h*ly to god lot of ecchi moments so to speak. This anime is on the verge of a h***ai and I honestly think it was better off being a h***ai. Some jokes were funny but they last as long as the wholesomeness in this anime, which is also there at times. I thought I would see an anime where a mother and son…

A real mouthful, ain’t it? Not to worry. Officially, the title has come to be shortened to Okaa-san Online, which literally translates to Mom Online. Take from that what you will. Tell you hwhat, though, the fandom has given the series a somehow even more direct and to the point nickname, the MILF Isekai. You might be laboring under the impression that that’s a mocking nickname, and to be perfectly fair, the intent was almost certainly not devoid of mockery, but in all honesty, it’s about as accurate a name as this show can possibly get. It pretty much sums up the whole thing. Yes, that’s exactly what it is. It’s an isekai about a milf. If that basic idea does not interest you in any way whatsoever, then you can just drop it and this essay right now, because there’s really not much of any…

Came for the ecchi, stayed for the plot I must say, I was expecting a horribly written isekai ecchi from reading the low score reviews. But I was surprised to find a gem. The anime makes fun of itself. It is also littered with alot of puns, which is probably the main reason why alot of people hated it. But I love puns. Sure there are alot of tropes but I also enjoyed them. I knew what I was walking into. And the premise is really well written, there are no convoluted plots that ruined the anime for me. The character development was really nice and well paced. I cant wait for season 2 to see Porta's story. I love all the characters. But I especially love Mama and her acting. I also love the scene transitions. I will dare say that its a great anime to watch with your mother. Especially…

Overall:10/10 This anime is not for eveybody, the guys hating are the same who dislike SAO. The story is about 7/10, simple story, just a chill anime, not all animes need a complex story. Story:Isekai anime that revolves about the children and parents having fun together on a RPG world, has comedy and a bit harem, dont know why people expected an actual story with plotholes. The art: Great, She is really good artist and the works she make are top tier, each character is different and has unique style on clothes/character. Enjoyment: this is pretty much like watching a slife of life on a rpg, some people find boring, the main focus its not battles, each episode has parents-kids problems with different characters.

tl;dr: An anime that may have had some sort of good concept somewhere, but that concept was completely lost in execution. This anime is a weird one. It’s an isekai light novel adaptation where the protagonist, Masato, gets transported into a game world, though the specifics on that are still pretty hazy, and ultimately ends up surrounded by a bunch of cute girls that are into him. The biggest difference between this, and any other isekai anime is that Masato isn’t the overpowered one, rather it’s his mother that is joining him on his journey. Thus, rather than a power fantasy like most isekai are, this seems to be trying to explore the bonds between teens and their mothers, with the MMO world they’ve been transported into being entirely dedicated to that. The bond between Masato and his…

This show is an isekai with the ecchi cranked way up. This isn't my normal cup of tea but I did find it enjoyable as it had plenty of comedic moments, I did like several of the characters, and Mamako is such a MILF. While the characters could be pretty one dimensional and there really didn't feel like there was any real tension, it worked for what it was. I did like the concept of a video game world to help foster parental relationships, though it would've been cool if that was expressed for both parents instead of just moms (as there are plenty of fathers who care about their child but sometimes lack the know-how of what it takes to become closer to their kid). I get why they focused on moms though. The character that stuck out most to me was Medhi. There was something about her kind/lo…

if i can I will give this negative 10/10 instead of 1/10. the show contains 200% Oedipus Complex and 0% of isekai/fantasy adventure. any battle contained is just the mom 2 hits the entire world. and what's leftover is just the most unoriginal, boring, and long stories. the over all show is dragged down by the poor and messed up story with largely reused neta and plot. the character was unoriginal to begin with, there no development to all characters.to sum up, i think the show is really just a waste of time to watch, I believe it is one of the worst anime ever created.

It's not all bad. There are some moments in here that are cute or genuinely funny. But after setting the stage, the show goes downhill. The characters are bland. The situations are banal and repetitive. Motivations are lackluster. The humor is one note. If you're going in expecting a milf SAO, I'd say you could do worse, but there isn't any other option. Even if there were, I doubt it would be as boring as this. If you are really deadset on watching, I'd recommend the first three episodes, because the show is frontloaded, and the beach ova. After that skip the rest, you'd be wasting your time otherwise.

Short Review: This would've been a great incest anime if only it was written properly. The Mc is crap, story is crap and some of the characters are crap. Yes, I like incest y'all stfu. Long Review: First episode, there's already like a million plot holes. I hate the Mc's attitude but I still gave it a go. Then when the story progressed, more and more plot holes with a mix of cringeness just piled up. I like Mamako as a waifu. but the story is just full on cringe and boring. There are other isekai's out there that are pretty good but not getting that much attention because of shows like this that basically makes people think that the Isekai genre is full of garbage. It's the story that's important and also how well the characters are written. The thing is it lacks both of them.

Look, I know why anyone went into this anime/manga. However, as funny as it was in the beginning, it just got REALLY weird toward the end... and the OVA just makes it even worse. Between the mothers unhealthy obsession and borderline harassment of her son, preventing him from living a normal life, to gaslighting him into loving her. I just don't see how ANYONE could enjoy this series unless they have an Oedipus complex, then even still. Something about this series really rubbed me the wrong way. It was well drawn, and the VA was proper but dang was it a weird ride after like episode 2.

Very bad animation, the scoop seemed funny at first but they are dedicated to using dirty jokes between the mother and the protagonist as it is not good at all to support the oedipus syndrome. Besides, the plot does not advance at all when the protagonist seems to be advancing, he goes back again because the mother has to be opposing and always be on top of him. It gets very repetitive and boring the aniem always the same thing over and over again. this is a shit do not see this anime the truth does not have anything good. The mother is a fan of balls, she is good but nothing else after the co-protagonists do not contribute anything at all. The protagonist a pete sucks the whole anime waste time watching a dick of this size. They don't see it even if they get paid. I do not understand how…
