Don't listen to the negative reviews criticizing it for having borderline beastiality content. They're a bunch of low testosterone snowflakes.
Yes, it's deranged and the characters can be total lunatics. Ironically, the only normal character is the "dog". But the concept of this show and the situations they get into make it one of the best and most creative gooner animes.
The animation is ok, maybe even slightly bad. But it's watchable enough. As for the art, it's generic, but it's good enough. Proportions, anatomy, and detailing of female characters are good. Good attention was given to their navels, lower body "assets", breasts, and abdominal muscles.

The anime is absolutely infernal - and by that I mean I felt like I was going to hell the whole time I was watching this. Yes, we've gone from Denji being Makima's dog figuratively to this dude being Inukai-san's dog literally. The destructive capacity of the degenerancy on display here is on par with nuclear weapons or Skynet. Yes humanity does have the means to create a reincarnation girl-on-dog ecchi, but should we have?
There are so many scenes that left me going "WTF why did Japan make this??" (especially the doggy breast feeding and foot bath scenes - what THE hell O_O). I will say though I found the comedy to be genuinely funny and the premise to be original. The POV presentation is also pretty unique for an anime and works well for the type of story being told here.
The plot isn'…

This anime is a series of half length episodes about a guy who gets turned into a dog named Pochita and then adopted by a girl named Inukai. There is a plot centered around him trying to figure out how he became a dog and how to change back into a human. However, it isn’t all that good and moves very slowly. I suppose there’s also some attempt at fleshing out the character of Inukai and a couple other girls, but they were still all incredibly underdeveloped.
The focus more so is random ecchi hijinks. To be honest, these aren’t all that great either. The way this anime is talked about I expected this anime to be much more degenerate than it actually is. I’d say about 90% of it is generic ecchi that you’ll find in any ecchi show. The only way him being a dog plays into things is that the gi…

I *love* this anime—no shame in saying it. If you're into fanservice-heavy shows that also toss in a bit of mystery and weird transformation stuff, this is an absolute gem.
Let’s start with the obvious: the **fanservice**. It’s amazing. Each scene is like it was crafted by a true man of culture. Super erotic and suggestive, but never actually crossing the line into being too much. Just *peak perfection*. The way each girl gets her spotlight moment? Chef’s kiss. These girls are straight-up **goddesses**—every one of them oozes appeal, personality, and that perfect teasing vibe. Sure, the **art isn't top-tier**, and at times you can tell the animation had budget limits, but honestly, I was too busy appreciating the "camera angles" to care that much.
What surprised me was the **story**. For…

On one hand it's a pretty sad and thought provoking story about how women treat dogs better than men. On the other hand it's completely a degenerate story about weird kinks and bestiality.
The art is very good and it's pretty good overall, it just seems like some of it drags on too long like a family guy joke.
Also, can we talk about how reviewers are complaining about the plotline? I don't think that's why one would watch a show like this
story: 3/10
oppai: 10/10 (but there were too few)
art: 8/10
overall: 7/10 too many dogs
Apparently that's not enough information for my review so: dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs…

Just don't. Why are you here? I hear Attack on Titan has another final season part 56 - go watch that.
Do not watch this. I don't know why I watched this. I lay awake at night asking god for forgiveness.
In case you did not catch that - do. not. watch. this.
Yes it is exactly what it seems like. No it has no redeemable qualities.
Go invest your time in something worthwhile.
Honestly the only reason I'm typing this up is to warn my fellow brothers to steer clear of this monstrosity.
If you are curious (why???) go seek professional help. Therapy is good.

When i first watched anime, i thought that this is just a anime, until i watch for 8 minutes (in ep 1), i started realize that this anime had a problem in it, and.....know that, 11 eps (+ 2 ovas) are such a nightmare for me. I feel my ancestor(s) are looking down on me because i watch this anime, i rethinking my life again when i finished this anime and for those who want to watch this anime.

It's about time anime added more representation.
In this anime, we have white women, who are only shown as side characters in movies and real life.
Karen is the main character. Though she is Japanese, she emanates the spirit of white women everywhere, and she makes me proud.
If dogs could understand anime, would they enjoy this show? I don't know; I don't speak dog.
However, if you are an anime degenerate, this show is mandatory watch. If you are normal human being, skip. You won't understand the messages in this anime.
Is the story unique? Yes
If it was predictable, did you enjoy it anyway because you like this genre/set-up? It's not predictable. You think "surely they won't go farther than this", and then they do
Do you think the art style is fitting for the story? Yes
Were the c…

This has got to be the worst piece of media I ever consumed.
The characters are shallow as frick (avoiding swearing since I don't want this to be taken down), the protagonist makes me extremely furious and the writing is a thousand times worse than any other Harem Comedy I've ever watched. Only watch this bullcrap if you have some sort of mistress/dog fetish, then you're gonna get fed well with this one.
Otherwise stay the frick away from this, it's incredibly uncomfortable to watch and the writing of the protagonist seems to be suffering here the most. You can't sympathize with that loser in any shape or form, because in one moment he will say "I won't look at these t*tties because I'm just a dog and that's messed up" and then we get a zoom-in shot of those said bags. He keeps fricking u…

Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta is the greatest dog anime of 2023. No dog anime of 2023 even comes close. Also, Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta is the worst dog anime of 2023. Mind you, I actually enjoyed it. Yeah, its trash, but you aren't watching this anime unless you already know that. It's about a dog getting under skirts and helping girls with their clothes. If you can enjoy this, you are at the tippoty top of the anime community.
Animation 7/10
- Peak camera angles, good fanservice
Sound 6/10
- OP/ED are pretty decent, VA work is bare minimum.
Story 1/10
- It's a story about a dog looking up skirts and putting his nose where it belongs.
Characters 1/10
- They exist, but no depth.
Enjoyment 7/10
- The episodes are 10 mins, mine were uncensored, and so, I found it…

Alright boys, let's buckle up and put on our big boy pants and ready ourselves to watch an anime about the experience of doge x 2D anime girl. What can go wrong?
.......
I've seen both the anime and the manga and never before in my life I had to ask myself, "What the fuck am I watching?" while reading or watching an anime. This shows screams "DEGENERACY" at you for every single second you find yourself watching it. Heck, this "anime" has ventured way too far into the hentai category. I'm surprised it isn't hentai. Every 5 minutes I had to recite "O Lord, repent me for my sins" while reading the manga to prevent my brain cells from spontaneous combustion.
Overall, very mixed reviews on this abomination. Cool and original idea I guess albeit executed horrendously. I mean, it has cute cha…

This anime receives an unjust amount of criticism, while the appreciation it does receive is often in the "so bad, it's good" category. However, I firmly believe that this anime is truly a masterpiece.
OP and ED:
The opening and ending themes of the show are exceptional and deserve praise. Unlike many anime, I never felt the need to skip them. With a perfect duration of just one minute, both the ED and OP hit the sweet spot. They succinctly deliver their message without overstaying their welcome. The songs are incredibly catchy, and the visuals perfectly capture the show's tone. The opening gets me excited for the upcoming episode, while the ending wraps things up on a positive note, leaving me in a good mood after each episode.
Animation and Visuals:
Nobody can deny it in good faith; th…

I have never seen anything so appalling before. I went in watching blind, that was my first mistake. My second mistake was when I laid my eyes on the first episode, I thought this was already going to be a weird anime because he was reincarnated as a dog. But, I had hope that they would change it into something wholesome where we see the life of some teenage girl going through some drama in her life. But... sadly no. My third mistake was continuing and watching the entire series. I want to throw up.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNLESS YOU ARE A WEIRDO.

The premise of this anime alone is insanity. An ecchi anime where the main character is turned into a cute dog. Place said character into your standard ecchi anime scenarios and you get a rare bread of "Shock Humor". The whole idea of this nonsense would make you think "Who in their right mind came up with this?" I'm sure they're sleeping very well at night. As they should be. Let's go ahead and add in the info that there are also uncensored episodes.
I found myself actually holding my head and facepalming while watching this in both disgust, shock, and amazment. A team had the balls to make this anime. And let's not forget an anime has done something similar to this. Anyone remember "Kennel Tokorozawa" from 1992? Probably not. This is not a newbie anime (unless you wanna troll a friend…

Anime was a mistake
We went from space monkey fighting another space monkey to a girl who wants to practice beastiality with her dog
Someone in japan decided to pitch this idea to an anime and the producer somehow agreed to greenlit this into an anime and over 100+ people agreed to take part of making this anime and aired them. Japan....Why?.....why Japan.....WHY???
This is why alien hasn't invaded us yet. This is why Harambe left us. And this is why my dad left to get some milk in the grocery store ( a joke ofc don't take it seriously)
In a word of the great Anime Zone Gigguk " This could be someone first Anime". After hearing that, i was afraid that it might be true. No longer people will recommend an anime that starts with boku but didn't end with academia, they will recommend this…

So I watched a reviewer on this anime, and they had a very strong opinion on it, so I thought I'd give this anime a watch. Even though they basically said not to without saying it lol.
For starts the story is pretty simple. MC gets turned into a dog. Girl that he has a crush on finds him, and adopts him. MC, as a dog, gets to third base with his crush and some other girls. All in the effort to find a way to become human again.
Though this anime is an example of good quality doesn't mean it's great. Like the quality was really good for the anime, though I think the main reason it doesn't get love is the girls are basically getting off on dogs. Man's best friend more like Woman's best tool lol. Though let's leave that part out. As a standard ecchi anime it's alright. And alright does not…

"There is no greater sorrow than to recall happiness in the midst of misery" - Dante's Inferno
Objectively, this is a bad show. If one goes into the show expecting much then one is going in with wrongful expectations. This is a niche show for a very specific audience and it is an ecchi. If expectations are going into it expecting a bad show with one or two funny moments perhaps one will get that and that's how I would watch it if taking such a journey. I went into this expecting a bad anime because I wanted to be reminded of what bad anime are like.
The animation itself is fine. You can give it that and the concept itself is interesting if in the same way isekai about vending machines are. See: Reborn as a Vending…

Normally, something this crigneworthy would have been shut down and deleted from memory but the second episode, but for some reason, I found a lot of entertainment in the absolute absurdity that this show is.
The set up is very in-your-face from the beginning and tells you what it's about. I appreciate that because you didn't have to mire through 4 or 5 episodes to make an ultimate decision about whether you want to stick with it or not. There are a lot of people that won't at all find this entertaining - for good reason - and if it had hit me on a different night when I binged it, I could have had the knee-jerk reaction on any other night. It just hit me the right way at the right time.
The one thing that I don't get from all of this talks about mommy-doggy love is that things are cen…

My Life as Inukai-san's Dog is the type of anime that the ecchi industry needs with urgency.
Recently It has been unfortunate that only because anime is genre ecchi, the creators need to put more effort into developing the story (ex., Immoral Guild or Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World).
My Life as Inukai-san's Dog will introduce you to a well-developed story. The story starts with an exciting mystery, and each chapter will take you by the hand the solve the mystery.
I want to highlight my last statement: "Each chapter will take you by the hand the solve the mystery." It is incredible how you, as a spectator, will understand and resolve the puzzle of what occurs to our protagonist in each chapter.
Because an anime has fan service, many jerks lose their ability to follow a good st…

I would have rewatched redo of the healer instead of this..
No srls my ones reaction to this: Joe Pesci - What the Fuck Is This Piece of Shit? (Tales from the Crypt) <- youtube this.
Eps are short, with absolutely zero meaning or purpose in any ep.
The only thing can say about this anime is that it was somewhat funny I guess.?
Do I recommend watching this? YES
Why? So can tell others how bad it was xD You waste like 1h anyways since eps are 12 mins each minus intros/outros you get mby 7mins per ep or something. But don't expect something great, even degen like me doesn't understand this anime.. if you are the chosen one with understands this anime, please senpai, lend me your aid with your teachings xD
Jokes a side, don't expect anything good from this.
