Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None

Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None

Introduction

"Orhun Dura, today will be your last day in the party." Orhun, once a skilled Swordsman, had adapted to the role of Enchanter to fill a crucial gap in the Hero Party. However, one day, the party leader abruptly dismisses him, claiming his skills are lacking. Branded a "weakling" and a "jack of all trades, master of none," by his former comrades, Orhun is cast out without a second thought. Determined to start anew, he returns to adventuring—this time as a Swordsman, the role he originally excelled in. But his time as an Enchanter was far from wasted. The experience, knowledge, and countless original spells he developed in the Hero Party have forged him into a warrior unlike any other. Now, armed with an unconventional set of skills, Orhun is ready to carve his own path—one that will prove his true strength to the world. (Source: MAL News)

I liked the Fantasy Anime Where MC kicked out from his party and then the party regret where they are understand MC's value but it already late. I like the Anime where MC is good and whether MC foolish to don't know about surrounding Harem or Ignoring the Harem because some reason. It is a combination I really like but obviously if the story is not good that combination not working. so i thought I going to watch this Anime because most of MAL fans has negative rating but i watch this Anime and what the heck why it is 😒has more negative rating then positive rating 😡. It's seriously annoying. MAL fans Hypocrisy didn't has any limit😭.

Pretty generic, mc is underappreciated by his other team and as such is kicked off his original party though we learn others knew just how awesome he was. Ends on a cliffhanger about the dungeon. Overall if you're a fan of pretty ok action and a kind of generic story then you'd enjoy this. Not great, not bad like a lot of generic anime. I personally wasn't really hooked though I did watch the whole first season and I didn't really feel like it was all that unique either. MC is also generic, doesn't seem to understand how strong he is compared to others.

this anime is kinda shit but compared to all the other shit anime airing these days it was, comparably, good. Overall it was a nice watch without needing me needing to be too invested. Even to the point where I wouldn't have minded it being 24 episodes over maybe even watching a potential second season. Despite the kinda basic setting the characters have a little bit of depth to them and isn't completely 1-dimensional (although they are not very far from it). Dont get me wrong though. This is definetily not anything extraordinary. Like all the other power fantasies our MC just keeps mentioning how "This is a original spell I created" and "this is another original spell I created" that happens to be very useful for his fight before he pull out yet another completely unseen power out of…

What did indeed suck: * Overused theme, tropes, characters, dialogue. * Power scaling -> MC went from being shown as a zero to basically a superhero extremely fast. * Pacing -> it is even worse than most reviews say. It's consistently inconsistent, not just slow/fast. * Details -> really botched a bunch of details. E.g. a nameless side-side-character (but same clan as the protagonists) dies in the last episode, and it's as if it didn't happen at all -- I'm not talking about it not getting attention, I'm talking about it literally being treated as not happening, e.g. MC literally saying "But we're all alive". But maybe it was that the episode that was ultra-rushed and just left a bad taste in my mouth. What was exaggerated by other reviews: * 3D animation quality -> actually this was prett…

Every so often I check out low ranked anime because this site chronically sleeps on gems For a majority of this season, it's a bog standard generic game-ified fantasy anime where everything operates like an RPG for some reason. The main character is a pretty cookie cutter overpowered good guy who just wants to save everyone and knows everything. But further in, the story actually starts to reveal it has a lot more going on than it seemed, and much more interesting villains show up. The show has actually set up season 2 quite well and I could easily see it being significantly better than this one. I'm willing to recommend it purely for that. There's nothing offensively bad about this season, it's just a tad dry and fluffed up. It's a great second monitor anime with promise of blossoming…

TL;DR - Uses edgy revenge power fantasy synopsis to pull you in, but pivots quickly to fun (if generic) fantasy anime. Final third pivots once again, this time into more unique plot - by end of S1, any "slop" vibes of revenge-power-fantasy are gone. Production quality is solid, characters decently written and fun. Before I get into the review, my final score: I rated it a 7/10 (the kind of 7 that sits closer to 6 than an 8) A solid (if somewhat average) generic fantasy anime. I like to think of this kind of show as being akin to "anime fast-food". It's yum, it's fast, and sometimes you get a craving for it- even if it's not that great. It starts off at a solid 6, a very generic power-fantasy where some people are mean to the MC and we see him get "revenge" by virtue of showing everyone…

This anime isn't as bad as the score displays. You should pretty much know what you're getting into if you're interested in watching these type of show. MC is kicked out of his party because of illogical reasons. MC is actually really OP. MC joins another party. MC wrecks all before him. MC gains new glory. That said, these types of tropes are right up my alley, provided they give a solid showing- which I personaly think this one does. Now again, there are dozens of animes similar to it, so let's just dig into why I think this particular one is solid. The first is the world building. Yes, there's guilds, dungeons, parties, etc. But what I like is that there is a bigger over all story line that is quite sinister. Can't believe I'm saying this- but yeah it's enough to make me interested on…

The undertext of this series is to point out how people with decent all around skills are often undervalued in society, especially in the context of Japanese companies. It is drawing a direct parallel to a valuable employee whom has fairly high capabilities, but doesn't take the spotlight being driven out of a company by self centered team members who think that their accomplishments were made with their own strength. By leaving the toxic environment and being lucky enough to find new people who bring out the best of the jack of all trades, he is able to thrive. The actual story portrayal is that of a typical power fantasy anime, which has its ups and downs. But so long as that's what you're looking for, this is a decent anime overall.

Well the story itself is not bad per say, it's just avg. Here the people actually know he is usefull to them as an enchater or whatever role that. I see potential in the story. Even in the hero party atleast one person knew that the mc was kinda important and smart unlike how in all other show it's shown that the whole hero party hates and boycott the mc, so....that's kinda new ig. Story starts slow and picks the pace slowly. The fights are avg too animation wise. It's a show u wanna watch if u wanna waste time wait for ur flight while u sit in the airport lounge. It's shown the mc is overpowered but at the same time not as overpowered where he can just best everyone without breaking a sweat. It's a truly avg show. Not a anime I would recommend but also not the one I would say to stay away…

Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None The anime follows the usual " kicked from the hero party " trope, the MC being the most skilled and powerful yet being kicked by some fool egoist Hero, a meat head tank, a useless magician. what Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None, has better than the other anime might be that Orhun know's he's capable as he has special ability has created his own magic spells and is powerful enough to slay a dragon on his own. also the side characters are not too sloppy, tho the students of Orhun are annoying as hell especially Sophia, TBH i don't promote young old relationship to be specific minor and adult thing its just doesn't fit right for me, i don't judge if anyone is fine with sophia and orhun. I want Orhun and Selma, I SHIP THEM AND WILL TILL THEY GET TOGETHER…

This is a good show to watch when you're just looking to relax and dont expect anything too original or unique Yes its the same betrayal trope, however I got a good feeling watching this show, there are some funny moments and also the fight with the black dragon is pretty badass. The way Orhun made up for his lack of magical talent by creating original spells is cool. If anything the show is worth the watch just for episode 7. Nothing crazy here, just a good show to watch when you want to turn your brain off and watch at 2x speed for certain parts

It was an okay anime. We have a main character that bullied a little and kicked from the Hero's party but is really the brains of the whole operation. The MC is overpowered and not too careless which is a nice touch since you can tell he has a good head on his shoulders that isn't only used for leaping forward into battle. The story is set up so that the MC has a path to follow in order to finally shine. That's totally fine and normal and everything progresses as maybe about half of these types of anime would. The issues I find with this anime stem from the MC being so overpowered and there's virtually no drawback. They show that there is limits to his power but, one moment he is fighting the biggest and baddest monster in the dungeon that is so terrifying that other star adventurers ca…

I went into this show with high hopes. I liked Orhun and Selma; booted from the party revenge plots are usually fun, and I even thought the rookie kids weren't bad characters. So what went wrong? Well, at a certain point you'll start to notice something lacking in an action fantasy show; that missing element is the fricken action itself. Half the show is just talking and bath scenes. I'm not even a person who hates fanservice, but it's just ridiculous the amount of screen time wasted in bathing when there's already so much time gone just standing and talking. The talking even undermines the sparse fight scenes we do get. Most stories with the characters ditched from the party plots have at least the satisfaction of seeing the other antagonistic characters' downfall, but this show even fu…

Full of flaws and a bit cliché, but still very enjoyable overall. "Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None" is a solid anime with a number of small annoyances in its presentation. While it doesn’t do anything particularly new or groundbreaking, it’s still a worthwhile watch. If you’ve seen similar series before, you’ll likely recognize many of its ideas and tropes, though I’d say it executes them slightly better than most of its competition. Starting with the issues, the biggest one is the cast. The characters don’t have much depth throughout the series, and most fall into familiar archetypes. There isn’t much development or complexity to them, and their personalities feel fairly standard for this type of show. The same goes for the romantic elements, which follow predictable patterns. That sa…

Yuusha Party wo Oidasareta Kiyoubinbou I've been looking forward to this show from last year, waited till it finished to take in the season as a whole and I'm sorry I did, started as shows like this do, MC kicked from party but he's actually OP and everyone else were assholes who thought to highly of themselves, okay, standard and up to episode six or 7 it was an okay show at best and then nothing happened for the remainder of the season but boring ass exposition about nothing. You had your MC solo a final boss in the middle of the season and then try to build up a second fight with the same boss but this time with said MC in a party, a party that you spent a good two episodes slurping up to at least appear competent, that was dumb as hell. Shows like this really live or die by their char…

The score of 6.7 is apt for this anime but don't let that deter you from watching this. This anime is amongst the better one that came out from the last 3 years for this type of genre This anime is the typical MC kicked out from hero party but actually he's the backbone of the party trope....except, there's a twist and it's actually deeper than the usual trope. Episode 1 through 5 is the setup, 6 and 7 is what i hate the most because it's where the side characters drooling over how powerful MC is and praising him every 3 seconds, episode 8 through 12 it gets back on track. Overall, its 6.7 MAL score is appropriate but definitely recommended to watch if you're a fan of fantasy isekai kicked to the curb type of anime.

I think for the themes that it represents it's a good anime. If you're someone who likes the trope of overpowered MCs or unrecognised efforts this is it. There's more animation effort than season 3 of you know what show and I think the plot had genuinely interesting concepts but unfortunately they make up like 15 min of the whole 12 episodes and all concentrated towards the end. If there was a season two it could potentially be really good but...idk ig we'll see, maybe. The things I didn't like are the MC's stupidity (i don't mind op characters but if he's smart enough to do everything he does how can he not recognise at least A BIT of his worth?), the forever present thirst of underage kids for the adult mc, the fact that the important, more interesing plot is just "hinted" at through…

In short, it is a really average anime that has nothing really new. If you want to watch an anime that is fun, but is made of the same formula as a lot of "dungeon crawler" anime, this is for you. It has a harem, some fan service, and an overpowered MC that goes through an "injustice"... Well, a really well-known formula. Intro: This anime is average. I think that they follow the same recipe as a lot of other anime, but they execute it "well". Not incredibly, but well enough, so it is fun to watch. For example: - A Kirito look-alike swordsman? Check. - A small loli that is in love with the MC? Check. - A "hurt" MC that doesn't trust others, but is "healed" by meeting people? Check. - A girl that simply likes the MC because... he is the MC? Check. - Overpowered MC? Check. - A group of peop…

The anime looked promising. The first episode led viewers to believe we’d get an overpowered main character who would plow through every obstacle like a hero. What we get instead is something clichéd. The group of heroes who, without this one member, are completely incapable of accomplishing anything. Yet they don’t mince words when it comes to emphasizing that they’re the strongest and the best. It’s a real circus of nonsense being served up to the viewer here. Then again, the typical trope: the hero is adored by women but has no idea how to handle it. The whole story is rounded out with some sort of business mirror from reality?! We see a clan whose members take on administrative tasks. Training the next generation is a top priority, and they even have a mentor who looks after the nee…

I watched the entire season in one sitting, so I may have a bit of a different take on this compared to those who watched it episodically each week. Now, let's rip the bandaid off straight away. This is indeed another entry in the ever-growing slop-fest of: "Super OP MC is undervalued by arrogant a-hole hero squad who cannot see his worth", with the added trope of "but one of the hero party members does realise MC is actually super-mega-awesome", followed by "MC ends up in a new party that love him and all the girls fawn over him". It's beyond generic at this point, because nearly all of these shows play out the exact same way. However, I have to give this particular version some props, because it has far better world-building and plot-intrigue than probably 90% of the other shows in…
