Keijo!!!!!!!!

Keijo!!!!!!!!

Introduction

Japan's latest competitive sport, keijo, is dictated by a simple set of rules: female-only participants must stand on circular platforms floating in a pool—referred to as "lands"—with the goal being to knocking off opponents using only their breasts and butts. Despite this outlandish premise, the sport attracts millions of viewers across the country and boasts a lavish prize pool. Many aspiring athletes take up the challenge in hopes of becoming the next national champion. After graduating from high school, the lively 18-year-old Nozomi Kaminashi enters the world of keijo, hoping to bring home a fortune to her poor family. As a gifted gymnast, Nozomi quickly proves herself a tough competitor after stealing the spotlight in her debut tournament. Meeting new friends and rivals as she climbs the ranks, Nozomi discovers that the path to stardom as a keijo player is filled with intense competition that will challenge not only her body, but also her soul. Yep, you already know why I watched this anime. I don't think I need to explain myself here. IYKYK 😂 But jokes aside, I actually love how they managed to turn something this ridiculous into a legitimate competitive sport. Like bro, who even thought of this concept? And the funniest part is that they take it so seriously! There's actual training, tournaments, strategies, and even different techniques that somehow make sense within their world. What surprised me the most was how creative those techniques were. I never thought I'd see characters using their boobs and butts like actual weapons with special moves and everything. Some of those attacks even look like they came straight out of a battle shounen anime. 😭 Tho I wouldn't say the story itself was anything special. It's pretty stra…

Keijo!!!!!!!! immediately throws you a ridiculous premise: boobs, butts, and competitive sports. That being said, it plays along with the premise really well. It has surprisingly good animation, really good voice acting in both EN and JP, and the fights were actually... fun! I think that's the most important thing about this show. It's fun. It's not trying to be Berserk. Just enjoy yourself for the three hours, there's no need to take it super seriously. That's the best way to watch Keijo. The characters in this show were great too. Nozomi, Sayaka, Kazane, and Non all had amazing chemistry, which led to some funny dialogue and some great moments. Watching them climb the ladder both on and off the water was surprisingly interesting given what I expected going in. Some of the references st…

This show strung the words "Vacuum Butt Cannon" together and I have absolutely no regrets. Keijo is a brand new sport where women in swimsuits battle it out on a floating platform in a pool, where the objective is to use your cunning, your boobs, or your butt to knock your opponents into the pool below. It's yuri, it's ecchi, it's just a great big dose of yuri ecchi and it's so much fun. Keijo's strength is that it has no problem fully leaning in to even the most out-there technique and takes it incredibly, deathly seriously. The legendary Vacuum Butt Wave requires our heroine to don a special skintight training suit so she can train her muscles to do it safely. There's a forbidden technique by the name of Titty Hypnosis, where the swaying of breasts can hypnotize and lull an opponent in…

(EN-PT) I went into this anime expecting absolutely nothing, and it ended up being a really fun watch lol. Even though I'm not an ecchi fan, this anime completely hooked me. And somehow... it just works. The sports shounen structure and the cast's charisma are SURPRISINGLY (and I mean REALLY surprisingly) good. You end up getting attached to the characters, and the series does a great job balancing comedy with the competitive side of the sport. It's honestly hilarious watching the girls have dead-serious conversations while literally rubbing their butts against each other lol. That said, the series is clearly built around fanservice and ecchi. The problem is that a lot of the ecchi comes across as plain goofy, especially during the special techniques, which are often accompanied by some…

After this anime i realize that butts and boobs are deadly weapon if used properly. Keijo!!!!!!!! is basically an anime about the sport of the same name - Keijo, the rule is that there will be an area in the middle of the pool called "land" the contestants will stand on the land and push the other person into the pool, the one who stays standing will win. In particular, you can only use your butt and chest to attack your opponent (this sport is only for girls, so don't be too happy, big-ass guys). The female lead Nozomi is a girl with a bigger butt than normal people, which makes it harder for her to control her strength, but that can't stop Nozomi from reaching her dream of becoming the Keijo queen. The anime surprised me a lot, at first I thought the movie would be normal, mainly showin…

Keijo. A unknown masterpiece of a anime i originally thought of watching it when i learnt about the spots it was focused on. The art of women using their butts and breasts to fight a hornerable battle. The spot is deep and well rooted in the shows history being a part of it for hundreds of years. It isn't just a show that you can enjoy but it teaches you about anatomy giving educationl value as well i believe this show is a masterpiece in terms of writing and characters they're deep yet easy to understand the story is straight forward yet very interesting being about the moral issues the players for this spot have faced and face even in the stoys timeline the main chast is entertaining and motivating to watch trying their best to reach their dream the story their attacks tell is also a wor…

Keijo!!!!!!!!, an anime that reinvents sports with originality! Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised, not because there's fan service, which is certainly omnipresent (sexy girls, big boobs, sexy bodysuits, and the sport itself), but rather the sporting aspect and the stakes of the competition that are important in the anime. The characters are endearing, all united by the desire to win the tournament, hence a small element of sporty Nekketsu that we can particularly see. The animation is very beautiful, very fluid, and very dynamic, even with the CGI, which we want to see in episode 8 with the yellow bars. Moreover, the character design accentuates the competitive aspect with bold lines around the players in action. The colors are also bright, which makes it pleasant to watch (without any ul…

Now I wont lie, while I understand the appeal of this anime, considering I am not a big 'sports' fan, this anime just didn't land very well with me. It is entertaining and funny don't get me wrong but considering at its core it is indeed a sports anime I just didn't have a real general interest until they started competing against other Keijo players. Once the actual competition started I was hooked as it contained a lot of action and suspense but even then its more of a general fun than a binge the next episode immediately kind of thing. If you like sports anime mixed with some yuri/ecchi elements then you will LOVE Keijo!!!

Just a fact for the fellas: It really hurts to get hit in the boobs. If you can get past that fact, then this is a pretty fun and silly show. You know the deal, combat with T&A as the weapons. The part that makes it endearing is the absolutely seriousness the whole show, especially the dub, takes with the material. They never break and acknowledge how dumb the whole thing. The whole thing gets more and more nuts until it’s a shonen battle anime with explosions, auras, and over the top signature attacks. One thing I am very grateful for is they is no real focus on the girls’ looks from a male perspective. That would’ve made things really creepy. The gals comment on and complement each other but it’s all good sportsmanship and sisterhood of the team and competition. There’s are some yu…

This anime will change your life. I'm blasting multiple fat ropes at my computer screen. To get to the point of my review, I would say that this anime is the antithesis to all anime and that it will make you rethink the entirety of any sort of anime trope that you will see on modern television. In short, this is something I believe that everyone can watch this show and get something out of it, whether its education, fan service, or togetherness, there is something here for everyone! My favorite character, Kawai Hanabi, truly lives up to her name! She is incredibly kawaii and makes my heart go doki doki, heh. But in all seriousness, the way the world is built around these strong independent young ladies makes my head spin with anticipation for what will come next. Who will win? Who will…

If you don't like it when an anime's subject is breasts and butts, I recommend staying away from Keijo. The only subject of the anime is breasts and butts. Keijo is a fictional sport practiced only by women; they have to defeat their opponents using their breasts and butts. If you thought that was abnormal, it gets even stranger when you hear the names of the moves, as bizarre as the sport itself! Nozomi dreams of being the Queen of Keijo, for fame and wealth, but to do so she will have to train a lot, her breasts and butt; the story of the anime is superficial, the protagonist only thinks about beating her opponents, a typical overpowered protagonist of shounen anime; she goes to a gym specialized in Keijo. Like any other sport, Keijo also has all the infrastructure for training, competi…

Alright where do i start lmao!!!!! This has to be one of the funniest shows i've watched of recent, like what do you mean there's a 12 episode anime about a bunch of girls throwing shonen-esque power moves at each other lol, but yh that's what this show is at first i thought i was going to end up dropping this one but the i was so wrong instead of hating it i found it very funny like if you're a fan of shonen anime i expect you to find this funny because this feels like a shonen parody, yelling out the names of their moves, exaggerated attacks, characters with goals to be the top or some stuff like that and many other things. All i'm just saying is if you're looking for a laugh you can check this out, although i know this won't be to everyone's taste. This show got a 7 from me because they…

Keijo!!!!!!!! may not be the pinnacle of anime sophistication, but it knows exactly what audience it's aiming for. It doesn't try to push boundaries but rather embraces its unique premise wholeheartedly. The fighting style is undeniably interesting, using boobs and butts in a new way, blending athleticism with ridiculous tactics. The visuals of the series hold up decently, with the characters being well-defined, and the animation during the matches being the highlight of the series. However, where the series fails is its lack of character motivation and development. Without a compelling backstory or clear goals for the characters, it's difficult for the battles to carry much weight beyond the spectacle. Moreover, the absence of a real antagonist further exacerbates this issue, as there is…

To start off Keijo is indeed going to be one of my all time favorite guilty pleasure anime, and actually in the top anime of the fall season, but all the same, DO NOT keep my bias in mind. For story is gets a 6, although its technically original in the concept of women fighting with there breasts and butts, its got all the regular concepts from sports anime, athletes training to be the best, the athletes having something to prove, a main protagonist with way to much natural skill, and lastly the inevitable factor of the protagonists, and their team being the under dogs. For art it gets a 7, there isn't much to say really, the show has nice art, nothing crazy but earns the extra 2 points that keep it at a 7 instead of a 5, with the fights usually very well choreographed and the "special a…

Keijo is an anime in which the titular new sport, where bikini-clad female competitors use only their boobs and butts to knock each other off a floating platform and into the water below, has exploded in popularity across Japan. Our journey follows Nozomi Kaminashi as she grows from a passionate but unremarkable collegiate athlete into an aspiring professional player. In addition to weaponizing their boobs and butts and using various thrusts and pushes to knock the other girls into the water, many of the competitors have learned special techniques, which for all intents and purposes in this show are basically just magic, and they have names like "vacuum butt cannon", "gate to bootylon" and "hypno-boobs". Hypno-boobs isn't just a wild name- it is in fact a "dangerous" and "forbidden" techni…

Story: 4/10 There is honestly not a real story 😅. It's between a school anime and a sport anime, idk how to describe it better. The "school parts" are the one that makes the note be low, because the girls don't have a real personality (except Sayaka). The friendships are weird, like they become friend with no reason in 1hour. The sport part is really different, I usually don't like sport anime, but this one makes you so enthusiasts! When watching, I was so hipped by the game that I almost forgot it was an anime Xd. Characters: 8.5/10 This is the good side of this anime: the characters are so original! It's made so you can't hate them all, because they are so different that you will have a favorite one anyways. Art/Animation: 7/10 I tough that the animation will be bad and weird, but it…

This anime is completely stupid, and I love it. It's just a sport anime about girls fighting with Boobs and Ass but the fights are insanely engaging. It feels like I am actually watching a Fighting Shonen like anime. There are even signature moves like the Vacuum Ass Cannon. There are one on one matches. There are allout fights and there are team battles. The abilities are sick each girl has (except a few but we don't talk about them). There is also a lot of strategy involved like when in a team battle someone uses her boobs to catch an opponent so another one can knock her out with her ass. It sounds stupid but when you see it it looks hella badass, especially how they perform on various battle stages. The characters are also amazing. Nozomi is your average stupid main character with…

Watching Keijo is like a fever dream. If you're coming in for the story, stop right now, you're in the wrong place. Keijo cannot and should not be judged as a normal anime, because it is 100% a GUILTY PLEASURE watch. And as a guilty pleasure watch, it does its job very well. The best way to look at it is as a parody and inside joke about the whole shounen sports genre, and of anime itself. The abundance of fan service, the absolutely ridiculous ways it goes about it, every cliche sports beat dialled to 1000%, the premise itself... Everything about it is a joke, and Keijo knows it and has fun with it anyway. The 8 exclamation marks in the name are no accident. It's an indication of exactly what kind of anime it is. It kinda gave me Jojo vibes in how over the top it can get. Except all t…

Keijo!!!!!!!! I can't say exactly what got me into watching this anime, but it was a less terrible experience than I expected at the beginning. Just take your "favorite shounen" and swap out the power system for butts and boobs (including the attacks) and then you have Keijo. Everything is there, the training montages, the conversations about will and friendship, bizarre powers and the power of feelings. There is almost no creativity behind this concept, since it is an immensely simple shounen parody. Simple yes, but as soon as the characters start fighting with their asses, teleporting or doing judo with their nipples, you reach a limit of "insanity" and that was... new. I wasn't sure whether to cry or laugh, so my confused feelings decided to just enjoy this anime. In this world, it'…

I came for the culture and stayed for the surprisingly well-executed portrayal of an undeniably absurd sport concept xD I'll get a few things out of the way; 1. I'd put watching Keijo off for ages, because the concept itself isn't something along the lines of what I'd normally watch. 2. I went into watching this with the preconception that it'd be something funny and would basically require watching with my brain switched off. 3. I am fully aware the anime defies the laws of physics, the laws of time and probably a few other laws that would normally negatively affect a rating, heh So... Story - 6/10 There isn't too much going on in terms of story content here, but in the context of Keijo mostly being a fanservice sports anime, I think it can be forgiven for not having too much story co…
