It's actually a pretty average anime. I wouldn't call it terrible. The indie-style art fits the early 2000s aesthetic, the sound effects are solid, and the pacing is decent. However, the relationships between the characters are absolutely awful.
The series is packed with toxic dynamics—there's incest, cheating, kidnapping, blackmail, and even a bisexual character breaking someone else's heart. One character is unbelievably naive, while another is as cunning as a fox and takes full advantage of it.
And seriously... why is there an incest relationship in this anime? I genuinely don't understand why that was necessary.
That said, the girl's ability to teleport using telekinesis was completely understandable. That part genuinely made me laugh. At that age, if I had a girlfriend, I probably…

Happy Pride Month, everyone! I don't think I can take pride in the fact that I watched the subject of today's review, though, especially not for a second time. Yes, I rewatched an anime for the sake of reviewing it. I don't remember exactly how I found out about this particular yuri OVA, but I did originally watch it back in 2014 and think it was so-so, apparently. However, I recently decided that it might be a good idea to re-evaluate some of the anime I gave an average score to in the past, and this OVA particularly stuck out in my mind; I didn't remember much about it, but something told me that I rated it too highly at the time, especially given the little bit of it I did remember. Unfortunately, I was proven correct; I don't see what it was that made my younger self see Kuttsukiboshi…

Look the plot and characters; absolute trash. If you're not here for that and have the kinks and obvious emotional manipulation by the writers then this is up your alley. For hentai if you're here just for the characters getting down and dirty then this is up your alley.
If you're looking for well written characters and story then you might want to skip this one. It doesn't do much with the idea of it's telekinesis. The art is great, the animation is okay; the art fits the story.
The story is just... just skip it please ignore the story, pretend it's not even there. The actions the characters do make this not enjoyable story wise and no not just because it's 2 episodes.
Many of it's story elements it has a half hearted attempt at the ideas but really fails in it's showing like with the…

This is so bad that its good so i actually did enjoy it. The plot is kinda dumb but in an endearing way. It also has that soft comforting atmosphere that was present in similar anime from around this time. The music is wonderful as well which definitely is a contributing factor to that ambience.
The main conflict/tension between the two girls was somewhat hard-hitting, impressive considering the short length of it all. I also enjoyed the supernatural aspect being a presence but not the sole focus. It was more of a catalyst to the following events and their relationship. The romance begins pretty quickly right at the beginning so you can just get right into it. It's a pretty straightforward and simple plot. Things are good and well and then the conflict happens and then emotions happen and…

I'm honestly not sure where to start with this one...this show honestly had so much promise, the premise sounds amazing. However, I think the two-episode length destroyed this show, everything goes by too quickly and you barely have time to process the plot.
The boarder-line hentai Yuri scenes in episode one were fantastic, made my heart skip a beat and I beamed with joy. The turn of events at the end of episode one was quite shocking and dark. It defiantly grabbed my attention. Episode two was very, very dark.
The ending was just so totally out of the blue and then some. I wanted to love this show. The premise is great, the characters are interesting, and the art is good. But it just went way to dark for me, I'm after wholesome Yuri, not dark, oddly happy yet oddly depressing Yuri.
I…

I don't have much to say about this
Logically, because I only have 2 chapters, I am not going to analyze it in depth, that is, I will avoid touching on topics such as character development or the development of the story, etc.
!!!SPOILERS ALERT!
I don't really understand the function of the work or why it was done, it really seems that the author was bored and decided to do this to pass the time
basically it is a yuri where the protagonists are very horny and every 2 minutes they want to fuck, in itself it works and it is not so bad and it seems that in the end Kiiko teleports with Aaya to another planet and it was very strange but anyway
I do NOT consider it bad because it is seen that this was created to satisfy yuri lovers and that is why it does not seem bad to me but it is not go…

WHY ARE THEY IN SPACE?!
Sorry, I'm obligated to shout that any time a show that previously had nothing to do with space ends up going to space in the final act. That said, WHY ARE THEY IN SPACE?!
I signed up for some basic yuri high school plot and got some weird sci-fi story about teleporting to other planets. On paper this even sounds like the kind of wacky off-the-wall high-concept stuff I would normally like. But it's also the bad kind of high-concept story telling where it simultaneously is ridiculous but tries to take itself serious. It's just, not very good. Not even the soft ecchi yuri scenes could save it. 6/10

Kuttsukiboshi is a short anime written, directed and animated by Ishikawa Naoya. The episodes were released in 2010 and 2012. Let's take a look at it.
Story:
Kawakami Kiiko has psychic powers she gained in an accident. The only one who knows is Saitou Aaya, the girl she has a crush on. Fortunately for her, the feelings seem to be reciprocated. Unfortunately, there's some shit going on in Saitou's personal life that could threaten what they have.
Let's start with the story problems in this. The first glaringly noticeable issue is that Kiiko's psychic powers are a lazy plot device that only really come into play in any significant fashion when there's some kind of situation that Ishikawa can't figure out a good solution for and he just resorts to some good old-fashioned lazy writing. Th…

To begin with, the anime was already everything I expected, at least within what seems to be the proposal.
It could be an anime that I would look at and see as just another yuri on my list, but many problems in the work bothered me, some elements in the script, animation and other things.
If it were just a soft-hentai, it would be better, but I feel that the moments you tried to take yourself a little more seriously did not work for me.
But if you just want to see yuri scenes and don't bother with some things in the script, you might like it.

Wow. This was genuinely the weirdest thing I've ever watched. There are going to be spoilers with this short review because frankly, I'm ranting.
This started out sweet and wholesome but with an underlying tone of "something doesn't feel right." To the point where I said out loud when the brother first walked through the door, "Wait, is he going to have sex with them or something". Turns out I was pretty close.
See the progression of this story goes like this:
- Girl with "special powers" has crush on another girl
- Other girl doesn't seem all that interested but is still best friends and wants to explore special powers
- First girl initiates a kiss while the other is sleeping then stops herself only for the other girl to kiss her instead
- Both girls make out Sakura Trick style
- They…

I watched this with a friend of mine. It was pretty good and we were so into it we both gave it a 10/10. Why? Well...
Though the anime doesn't offer much because of it's lack of episodes. The anime does portray a small image of how strong love could be. And the fact that if it happens. It just does. Love can come in any form. Either forcefully or passionately. It's still a form of love.
Tying up your girl and forcefully fucking her. Using power to pin your girl and fuck her. Bring your girl to another world and live together forever. Hahaha. Honestly this anime was pretty messed up we nearly dropped it but later on realized it's true art so we gave it a solid 10/10.
The art was ok. The sound was ok. Characters were pretty hot. Story's ok but I'd love it if it was longer. Overall ok h…

This started out as an interesting concept that I thought would be fun to watch and with the yuri elements thrown in I was hoping for some fluffy romance. What I got was a series of scenes played up for shock value, a poorly written fill in the blanks yourself story, and characters with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
You're dropped into the story seeing through the eyes of the main character and her relationship with her friend. You have no indication why one feels about the other the way they do other than them just saying it. You're given no reason to be happy for this couple, and later on you're given no reason to want this relationship to work out because of the horrible, manipulative, selfish people both protagonists have become.
This OVA suffers from the common issue of paintin…

Hi! Robert's Too Late Review (RTLR) coming at you again. Today we're going to be talking about the very short series (if you even want to use that term) known as Kuttsukiboshi. Because this anime is only two episodes long, I will say up front that to deal with a review, for the most part we're looking at SPOILERS because its going to be really hard to miss them at points without being really vague and just totally unhelpful. If you want a quick rundown, basically I do not recommend this series due to some very poor character choices and reliance on an appeal to sexuality as it's only major draw. No way this is making the RTLR wall of shining goodness. Let's get to it.
Again, SPOILERS will abound. For a general rating, see the overall score, know it is NOT romance, and has disturbing sexua…

Kuttsukiboshi is the most unique yuri anime I've ever stumbled across, so much so that I have mixed feelings over it.
Story: 6
This short OVA stands out from the rest for its sci-fi aspects, seeing as our MC Kiiko has developed minor telekinesis. Cool right? However this isnt really the focus of the anime, but more the catalyst of the romance and the grand finale. I feel like this aspect could have been touched upon more often to up the anti of the romance and drama.
Art: 8
The art style was very refreshing in my opinion, nothing too magnificent yet subtly elegant. The art really suits the moof of the anime well I think.
Sound: 9
Very pleased with the soundtrack, kept the highs enjoyable and the lows inescapable. Also love how the ed music blends into the animation.
Characters: 4

warnings: kidnapping, rape, incest, death threats, gaslighting, domestic violence
There isn't much to say about this other than the warnings I listed. This was in my recommendations after I'd finished watching a shoujo ai school comedy (Yuyushiki). Kuttsukiboshi looked a little more dramatic and it was short so I thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Biggest mistake of the day.
Most of the other reviews gave long-winded arguments about how watered down the characters were and how bad the story was—and I absolutely agree—but none of the reviewers sympathized with the fact that the characters were lesbians who became abusers after being abused. I'm sick and tired of lesbian characters being subject to violence for the sake of giving other characters depth, vomit-inducing storytelling,…

In a nutshell Kuttsukiboshi is:
yuri love story
convenient telekinetic power
incest...
that's pretty much it Those are the things the story revolves around.
It's supposed to be about a girl with telekinetic powers and her friend teaching her how to control them/make them stronger.
The synopsis should read: romance between female psychic and female classmate, oh and they look underage. It's not a romance, it's a nudity free yuri (hentai), though, you can find more substance in good hentai really.
To be considered even a decent anime, you must have dramatic structure: exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, denouement. Kuttsukiboshi flatlined to a climax then died. That's far from uncommon, but it's especially noticeable when you only have two episodes.
The art wasn't…

Alright, I just finished watching Kuttsukiboshi and decided to write a review and express my thoughts on it. Let's go!
Story
-----
A girl named Kiiko gains some sort of powers after an accident we know nothing about. A new classmate of hers figures out her secret, and the two start having a relationship where they make experiments and test the girl's abilities and powers. But for Kiiko, her classmate, Aaya, is much more. She seems to be deeply in love with her. Well, their relationship progresses and they end up having a much more intimate relationship. The story revolves around this relationship of their's. There are very ecchi moments, and one unnecessary and disturbing to me incident of incest. That's pretty much it. Don't expect crazy development or a very deep and meaningful story.…

The soundtrack was nice and I enjoyed the art style. But god is the anime trash. I actually had a lot of fun laughing about how terrible it was through out its two episodes. This is an anime you watch to pick apart for fun, but if you are looking for a good story with great characters than look elsewhere. The characters seem are so poorly developed and unbelievable that at the so called "emotional" parts I really could careless for either of them. The story is a mess through out and there is elements thrown in that were not needed in the slightest.

Ok. i see this yuri anime for accident and have any idea of what i see are only lesbian girls being perverts and something else....
OK, i need to note that have a good soundtrack and also direction and a decent art and that is all the rest is garbage lesbian melancholy script,
The main two character are boring as fuck are only characterized by be lesbian melancholy and hot in moments its suppose be sad i don't care why i need to be sad about a cute lesbian if are only representing 1 emotion
and ...... THAT IS ALL
Is a Yuri that are only show two hot cut lesbians feeling so sadnees and moment that this shit want you to scream MYYYYYYY FEEEEEEEEEEELS. but can't do that because DON'T GIVE A FUCK TO THE LESBIAN that are ONLY REPRESENTING 1 EMOTION IN 40 Minutes

*** SPOILER WARNING ***
As someone who has read the manga one-shots by the author I wish I have never seen these OVAs, as they have ruined the whole franchise for me and I don't believe I'll ever be able to enjoy it again.
Premise: the story begins as a typical demi-hentai yuri OVA with lots of fluff 'n' stuff but by the end of the first episode quickly turns south towards an approaching iceberg via the means of one of our main heroines finding the other heroine shagging her own brother.
Problem 1: now this could be some real quality material for a dramatic plot twist but it's done in such an unrealistic way that I feel physically sick. First of all the main heroine has no compelling reason or motivation of her own to actually allow her brother to bang her (some may disagree and say tha…
