Overview: to keep it simple, this season was a definite improvement from the last season which honestly felt like a dumpster fire taped together (the pacing, the animation, the lines). what you should be expecting from this is better everything and consistency that shouldve been expected from the previous season.
Personal Thoughts (that u might or might not gaf abt): this season brought back the charm that was the first season imo. ofc, some, and i mean some scenes felt drawn out, but you get what you get. i was way more invested in the eris arc than the main arc with rudeus tbh bc she is that girl. despite personal bias, i would say all of the scenes felt fulfilling and the emotions the animation tries to portray really get through to you (at least thats how i felt, the scenes weren't cl…

I am so, so conflicted on how I feel about Jobless Reincarnation. It consistently scores well on MAL, but I'm consistently lower than most on it. I've had to somewhat adjust how I watch this series, and even though it has somewhat helped, it's really not what got me into the series to begin with. I'll assume you've seen the previous parts of Jobless Reincarnation for the purposes of this review.
Story & Characters: Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 actually takes us to Eris and we basically get to see what she's been up to since we last saw her. It's only for the first two episodes, but is is probably the best episodes of the season - for better or worse is up to you. You can tell she has gone through some growing pains, but really has one goal - seeing Rudeus after getting m…

The more the show goes on the more we find out that we have been watching the authors masturbation piece. What started out as a hopeful albeit disgusting story about redemption for the wicked has turned out to be close to nothing but that vile fetishes own gratification.
Here are some questions for you to consider to reach whatever conclusions you want:
Isn't it interesting how Rudius has no male competition? How he managed to go full pot of b*wonderful ladies* in his house? (whose curse shouldn't be what was found in the basement (this is not a s3 spoiler) but the fact that cleaning that thing up would take 10+ years, but I digress) Why did they solve his family issue the way they did?
Now why did this guy give a 7 and a "mixed feelings" about he show he seemingly has problems with?
On…

Overall, a good season.
I’ll touch on this right away, in a couple of sentences, so I don’t have to come back to it, since I wrote my whole last review about it.
Yes, the harem is still bad, and it causes the same problems for the story that I described in my review of the previous part of Mushoku Tensei. That plot decision was made in the previous part, so here we’ll talk about what’s new.
(Spoilers below.)
Up until the final episodes, where we got a big and unexpected plot twist, we saw a natural continuation of Mushoku Tensei that, in its storytelling and overall visuals, looks like the kind of solid continuation the anime was originally loved for. Before those last episodes it felt merely good, or rather, good but nothing out of the ordinary, with no major progress in that regard.…

Just to recap my journey around this:
I ended up watching the 1st season totally randomly, enjoyed it so hard I consumed the 2nd one in haze, then I NEEDED more, I've read the entire web novel and I loved it to death.
So where am I now? I've been heavily anticipating this, 3rd season is making me relive the old me before reading the web novel, it felt fresh from the very start, it stood strong on its own and I still cannot get enough of it.
You may not like this, you may try to justify your hate for it in many ways, but it's heavily misunderstood for the wrong reasons, this is a journey about healing from trauma, overcoming your problems, getting another shot at your life. It heavily resonates with me, I get emotional over this kind of stuff, but you don't have to be a broken piece to enjo…

Season 3 was pretty bland and mediocre for most of its runtime. The more I watch Mushoku Tensei, the more I understand how overrated it actually is. A lot of the season felt uneventful, with the writing struggling to make its conflicts or character moments as compelling as they should have been. The series has an interesting world and plenty of material to work with, yet so much of it ends up feeling strangely underwhelming.
Thankfully, the last three episodes completely turned things around. They finally brought the tension, stakes and emotional weight that had been missing for most of the season, and they were easily the strongest part of it. In fact, those episodes did enough to genuinely save the season from being a complete disappointment.
Still, it's hard to overlook how inconsiste…

Light novel was better.
Still a very good show.
A lot of people complain about the sexual part of the show, and while I do get what they are saying, it was established that the show would be like this from the first season, so if you don't like it, then why are you at season 3?
Rudeus is still one of the more interesting protagonists in anime because of how flawed he is. I don't always like his decisions or personality, but I think that's part of what makes his development feel believable. His growth compared to the beginning of the series is pretty noticeable. The thing that many people complain about this season (and even from the second season) is that Rudeus just feels a bit like the regular harem anime protagonist because he doesn't show as much emotion as he did in the first season…

I've rated the previous seasons pretty highly because Mushoku Tensei did the isekai formula exceptionally well. The world felt beautiful, the pacing was elegant, and it genuinely gave you that feeling of wanting to jump into this world yourself.
But mahn… after learning more about Rudeus' past, my perspective on the character changed a lot.
Apparently, in his previous life, Rudeus was watching a naked video of his own niece when he got kicked out and beaten by his family. So basically… bro was a pedophile before reincarnation.💀
And knowing that completely changes how I look at some of his actions in this world. His relationship with Roxy (technically not underaged, but man she is a tiny character) and Eris especially becomes extremely uncomfortable for me. You can argue that this is sup…

Why not tackle it earnestly when you had the chance?
I don't usually write reviews, or even rate things. It takes a toll on me, so I generally don't bother. But after all this shallow and illusory handling of human relationships—and family matters in particular—I felt the urge to write something. I don't even really care about the perversion. This is not that kind of review. It's not the most tactful thing, but I know plenty of things in life that aren't tactful or moral at all, yet still feel genuine and interesting. I can live with or even be very contend about it if they at least attempt to handle it somewhat authentically and honestly.
Much more importantly than that, this season nearly wipes away the greatest aspects of the series, especially what matters most to the series itself:…

Mushoku Tensei is an anime that does a wonderful job at exploring emotion and how they can affect interpersonal relationships. If season 2 showcases depression, season 3 showcases resiliency in the face of despair. Don’t let anyone tell you this is a redemption story. It’s a character study. I want to keep this review spoiler free so I won’t go into too much detail, but The Diary is one of the most profound episodes I’ve watched recently. Like watching a nightmare unfold on my screen. This season is worth watching if only for that episode. Don’t listen to the haters!

As a follow-up to Season 2, Mushoku Tensei’s 3rd instalment is an uneven, overexposed attempt at slice-of-life, held up mostly by its late revelations and compelling promises it makes for the forthcoming 2nd Cour. As much as I’ve admired Mushoku Tensei’s world-building throughout the series, most of what’s presented here settles for something far more conventional in approach, never quite capturing the suspense it once used to carry—episodes rely too heavily on dialogue alone to justify their lengths. I’ve described this cour’s early half as a ‘loose-threads’ narrative, as it hands several lower-profile characters from previous seasons room to close up their stories—however heartwarming as these moments can be, they take up a disproportionate amount of runtime, getting mo…

To be honest, the third season of *Mushoku Tensei* surprised me in one respect. I expected the series to continue relying heavily on the controversial scenes that appeared in the first and second seasons. Instead, there were far fewer of them. For me, that’s a plus, as those scenes were one of the elements that bothered me most about the anime.
Perhaps the creators decided to dial that back to show that Rudeus had changed, but given that he still keeps a pair of panties as an object of worship, it’s hard to say he’s undergone any major personality transformation.
Rudeus still isn't a character I particularly sympathize with. That doesn't mean I consider him poorly written—it’s just that his behavior and the way the story unfolds don't make me relate to him much (nor do I try to). His poly…

Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu Season 3 follows Rudeus Greyrat as he tries to lead a quiet life after marrying Roxy Migurdia, who turned into his second wife with the permission of Sylphiette Greyrat, his principal wife. In parallel to this, Eris Boreas Greyrat is training harder to reunite with the main character and declare her feelings for him.
Many claim that this season is the best of the entire anime, but unfortunately it didn’t click for me. Do you want to know why? Keep reading this review for more info.

This show always had stunning visuals and great character designs, however I noticed a drop in quality here: inconsistencies in some scenes; weird angles; and the way Eris was animated in the outro. Regardless, Studio Bind is still doing an incredible j…

The story is still great, no doubt about that. It keeps getting more interesting and somehow always finds a way to make me curious about what happens next. The turning points were probably my favorite part because whenever I thought things were finally settling down, something would happen and completely change the direction of the story. That “okay, what the hell happens next?” feeling is still there 😂
I also really like how the characters continue to develop instead of everything being focused only on fighting. There are a lot of emotional and serious moments that actually have some weight behind them, and thats one of the reasons Mushoku Tensei keeps me hooked.
Tho for this season, I was kinda looking for more action. 😂 I know the story doesnt need to be nonstop fighting, but there…

While the season 2 was mostly the aftermath and the story after the teleportation incident.
Rudeus being abandoned by Eris, him knowing about his mom, sylphi, roxy and his life in school. Reuniting and leaving with his family.
After the high paced season 1, season 2 focused more on the story progression than the high octane action.
The result? Rudues lost Paul, went through personal hardships and learned more about this world, all while trying his best not to be the piece of shit he is as a human.
With season 3 we are back with a bang, it’s season 1 all over again. It still has the steady pacing and the feel of season 2 + high paced high octane action part of season 1 as well. Eris is finally back and the 4th turning point?? This changes everything, as an anime only next cour is going…

I consider isekai one of the worst genres in the industry, as it has many bad works, and even the good works are few, and may even suffer from many problems. But there have always been two works sitting at the top of the genre in terms of quality, and they are Re:Zero and Mushoku Tensei.

After what happened to Rudeus with Eris and all the events of the second season, we open the third season with Eris and the events that happened to her after the first season. Opening the season with Eris and giving her two episodes on the same day was one of the best decisions the studio has made, without a doubt.
We see that Eris has become aware of the idea that her strength is not enough to stand alongside Rudeus and face Orsted. Through the two episodes, several fighting styles are highlighted,…

Mushoku Tensei has officially earned a spot in my top 10 best stories of all time!💯💯💯💯🔥
What a fantastic season overall! We finally got some great Eris moments, some cozy slice of life scenes with the creation of a new family born from Paul's rescue mission, and some genuinely solid action fights. Honestly, I could write so much about this season despite any cringe moments or negative criticisms people might throw at it, it truly deserves a solid 10/10!
And honestly, as a secondary note about the season. if there's one thing I really have to mention, it's episode 13. I've been an anime fan for many years now, and as I'm growing up, I've seen so many repetitive writing tropes that fewer and fewer episodes in any anime manage to hype me up or evoke genuine feelings anymore. But episod…

Mushoku Tensei Season 4: Great start, boring middle, interesting yet confusing end.
Mushoku Tensei Season 4 starts out really strong with Eris being the main focus for the first two episodes. We get to learn more about different sword styles, the Sword God, and what Eris has been doing since leaving Rudeus. This is a great start to the season because it gives the viewer a fresh perspective on the vast world of Mushoku Tensei and lets the viewer settle into the world once again. The animation looks great and the new characters are fun and have great chemistry with Eris.
The middle portion of the season is where the show starts to lose me. The first few episodes are just setup and a bunch of slice-of-life moments that honestly just bored me. Episodes 3, 4, and 5 barely set up anything to m…

Should you watch this show? Wait, you reached season 3 and you wonder that now? To not make this unnecessary long, yes, yes you should.
The story is picking up from season 2 and manages to improve dramatically, by introducing new interesting characters (both friends and foes), amazing lore, big stakes and more. It starts slow with slice of life moments that makes you wonder when will things heat up again. Then it all starts... and it never stops, it just keeps going harder and harder. Especially close to the end of the season it becomes really painful to watch the suffering of the characters, but absolutely worth it. The studio poured in a lot of love in the adaptation and it shows, cheers to them.
Also the world-building, something this series excels at, just gets expanded immensely bu…

Hot and warm, waxing and waning: a characteristic, biphasic style of story telling. One moment cycling through the tension of a fiery battle and in the next moment sitting comfortably round a table celebrating health and achievement with a hearty meal.
The central theme depicts imperfect people scrambling whatever’s left of their sanity and decorum to engage in thoughtful civilization, and how they cope with the very imminent challenges and ambushes of ulterior factions.
If it’s not clear to you at this point, this show was never about the magic; it was never about the adventuring; it was all about the people. Personally, I lament that it stays relatively tame in regards to the non-personal elements. The power system is very easy to understand as there isn’t much done in adding layers of…
