The comedy may have been a bit, "naughty", I guess you could call it, but fantastic at that. While there were some more serious elements in the anime, the anime concentrates on being silly and funny, on which they absolutely nailed it. That is not to say that the serious elements were not important though. Just like the comedic parts of the anime, the seriousness too was fantastic. Also recommended for anyone studying agriculture XD. No but seriously, there were some interesting informations in there that could potentially be useful to someone studying agriculture, so be sure to check it out

This anime has been done a disservice by the way it has been presented. It has been judged unfairly due to the expectations that people had going into it. This is not a show about farming, nor is it a show about an idol who leaves the industry, rather those elements are just the backdrop for a slapstick comedy. Those who like anime slapstick comedies may enjoy Nourin, but if you don't like anime slapstick comedies then you most likely will not enjoy the show. This is definitely a good show. The characters are funny and each has their own signature characteristics. For the most part the characters don't change much and the show is more focused on their surreal antics than on character development or romance. The plot is heavily episodic with little weight given to events from previous epis…

I came upon this title by chance, on the meme of boobs (world-cup) vs flat-chested war with the punchline that the mc actually prefers feet above all; i expect it to be comedy-ecchi. It has those moments but its not the main thing. I'm surprised that it actually is an educational anime about the various sides of farming, with a teaspoon of unhinged comedy to lift up the mood. It tries to balance its multiple character stories but not to the point that it dug deeper to each stories / themes. It has a potential as an educational anime about farming - sadly silver spoon is already there, doing it much better, 1 year before Nourin was released. Maybe this story will benefit with longer duration, either with another season, or picking up the light novel which am not a reader of.

The interesting thing about Nourin is that while it is a very good anime, the review in question makes me wish that it was rated higher. Either way, for an anime about farming, it still is a great one to behold. Nourin deals with the story about how Kosuke wishes he could the idol Yuka while still doing his role at maintaining crops and agriculture at Tamo Agriculture School. His wish then gets granted, only this time it’s Yuka now deciding that she wants to be a farmer while keeping her idol status somewhat as a secret. Kosaku tries his hardest to figure out why she chose his school to want to learn more about her, as his friends Minori and Kei try their best to help their friend in many ways they can. There’s a lot of subplots and gags that come from these characters that drive the hum…

I don't know how this anime got such a low rating, probably because their expectations don't match the genre (lol). Actually this anime is not as bad as its current score in MAL (6). If you like comedy containing shinometa (vulgar jokes), their ridiculous behavior and comedy parody from several anime such as Jojo, Saint Seiya .etc. I think this is the right anime for you. According to the name Nourin which means Agriculture & Forestry. This anime gives a little understanding about agriculture. Just like the Silver Spoon Anime which shows how hard it is to live as a farmer, this anime also gives that understanding. However, this anime has the same concept but the difference is that this anime focuses more on comedy. Their behavior is quite ridiculous especially when they see their teacher B…

If you liked Silver Spoon, but thought it needed more jokes and fanservice, then here you go. It's wacky and silly and never takes itself seriously (with the exception of the last two episodes, which touch briefly upon the declining state of rural Japan). The animation goes downhill shockingly fast after the first episode, and outside of the main cast, every supporting character pretty much has one gag that they repeat indefinitely. On the other hand, the leads are charming and the series has a relaxing sense of place. I even learned a thing or two, which is something I crave from slice-of-life shows. Nourin is hardly revolutionary, and I doubt I'll remember it years from now, but while it's fresh in my memory, I thought it was an enjoyable way to chill out and enjoy a few laughs.

This anime is a good comedy, but difficult to get to the romance side of it, Characters and some side stories are funny and you'll surprise yourself laughing in front of some of those silly situations, On the other side, the main story lack consistency and lack "head and tail", you cannot understand what is the point and which path the main story follow to get you somewhere, In fact you even ask yourself if there is still a main story especially between eps 6 and 10 where the side funny stories full episodes are "all-in" and everywhere with absolutely no story getting on, Last 2 episodes seems to be "getting to it" and being more serious about the relationships and characters depth, but it ends on a "funny twist", ending up asking... what's the point ? Good comedy i recommend it.…

I won't review the story, for there exist a source material. and I still haven't read it. However I will review the components of the anime. Art/Animation: the art wasn't the most amazing but it was most efficient, the animation wasn't the smoothest but it was most effective. The art doesn't look the most appealing, but the way they present the character makes them easy to know and remember, and they were easy to differentiate with each other. the animation was clanky at times, they also did scene reuses. But the things is, because of that, the impact for the punchlines and reactions contained more oomph. 8/10 Sound: OP and ED: I don't like the high-pitch idol-type songs. wouldn't score it because it was too subjective. the character songs for Minori, Becky aswell as Oppai were great tho…

I will begin by saying Nourin is heavily underrated and is an amazing anime for fun. Every single episode was comedic and absurd in a well-directed way. The story itself may not be the greatest, but the character interaction was very well done throughout the series. The art and sound are completely fine for being made in 2014. 1. Each character was great and added value to the show. 2. Love the anime as a little show for fun and cliches were not boring and in fact, were done correctly. 3. You will enjoy this if you are looking for a way to past time, or you are super bored. In all its a great anime

In short: This show is a very pleasing happy show with little amounts of story but good character development. Explanation below... To start for anyone looking for a simple anime to watch you will most likely enjoy this, that is if you are a fan of agriculture or do not "hate" if you're okay with the agriculture aspect than this show can be a very enjoyable watch, the only problem is that it falls short of somethings during the show the story wasn't really there... to be fair this doesn't feel like a show that needs a story, most likely because it is more based around the development of the characters more than the story and for most people its a negative but sometimes a lack of "story" can be made better by simply making the characters grow over the whole thing. Even near the end it stil…

I may receive a lot of hate for rating so high, but tbh, I don't really care. I watched this show with no expectations, just wanting something fun, and honestly, it delivered. It checked all the boxes that I wantd checked, and much more. It's nothing brainwrecking. It's not phenomenal. You don't learn anything worldchanging. It's kinda stupid, actually. But it's just pure enjoyment and laughter, simple as that. So if I were to rate actual "quality" of the show, I would give a 6-7, but I rate according to my enjoyment and yes, I enjoyed this anime a lot. Also I really love the art style.

NOURIN If you're expecting a romance, don't watch Nourin. If your're expecting a drama, don't watch Nourin. If you're expecting a comedy, be prepared to be blown away. PROS Without a single doubt, Nourin's best attribute is its comedy. Every single episode had me laughing at some point of it's just so refreshing to see an anime pushing the boundaries, using your usual light jokes, black humour and plenty of adult ones too. CONS Nourin tries to include romance, I feel this was mostly done to move the plot along, I never found myself hating the fact that the romance lacked impact, because Nourin is a comedy first, something i really enjoyed seeing. So although yes the romance is lack luster, the blame can't all be on Nourin. Should you watch? If you are into comedy then yes. Nourin has s…

I don't know why this series has such a low rating, it is funny, art is good and has little fan service and its about agriculture and their daily life but you have to give this show a credit, cause it is rated farless than what it deserves and better than some silly cliche anime which are above than this ,i wrote a review for the very first time because it felt bad for such a good anime to have such a low score . . .This anime is about a group of students in an agricultural school. Kousaku is a big fan of this idol named Yuka. One day, this idol decided to give up her bright career and simply vanish. She ended up being the new transfer student in Kousaku’s class, but something is different. She isn’t the peppy idol she comes off in TV. In fact, she’s a kuudere and she now joins this eccentr…

Although using agriculture as a school setting, this anime is almost never taughtanything about farming or the lives of those who study there. There is still no information was delivered, but the amount rarely, is highly technical, and inserted at random so it feels so forced, just as long as he looks had something to do with the agricultural school and not seriously intend that the audience can understand. More often, the anime is actually using the agricultural element as a material for a comedy that tends erotic nuance. What he actually wants to achieve by using a unique setting? Is this anime is not trying to attract the audience's attention on agriculture? Then is not a trick like this will actually have the opposite effect? Worse, most of the comedy anime is also far from being said…

This is one of my most deared anime's and I get the jokes that they are saying and portraying. This is about a fanboy who likes an idol star from Tokyo named Yuka Kusatabe who changed her name to Ringo Kinoshita(Find this out in episode 1) then the real funny story begins. This is a farming anime this helped me with my agriculture test in school. This is a ecchi harem story with romance and little farming. But its an enjoyable story if you like statire to the otaku culture then you will like this. Kosaku is one of my most relatable characters ever. If you like love triangles such as Nisekoi and Love Hina you will like this. Be warned there is sexualization of woman and suggestive content TV-MA. Overall good and well worth the 12 episodes!

I wasn't sure what to expect from Nourin. An ero-comedy, set in an agricultural school? It's not the best show, but it definitely lands some good jokes, probably more than it misfires. Unlike some shows that kind of poke fun at fan service (while still employing it) Nourin leans into it too heavily and it comes across as over the top without always being funny because of it. If you can get around that though some of the episode plots are a lot of fun and I'd definitely have watched more eps/a second season. I guess because it's an on-going manga it doesn't have a satisfying ending at all, so that's something to consider if you can't stand incomplete stories. A note on the translation/subs: I watch most things on Crunchyroll but occasionally rely on fansubs, and the fan translation for thi…

You know, reader, in the 7 years I've watched anime I've seen quite a few shows. Thinking back on what I've watched I can only remember so many specifically, in fact a lot of shows I just straight up forget about. Nourin is the latest edition on that non-existent list. Let's see if we can't find out why. If you look at the tags on your left you'll notice it's an ecchi rom-com in a high school setting. Sound familiar? It's one of "those" shows, the one's that'd be mass produced on a conveyor belt if it were any other type of product. I'll give credit where it's due and at least acknowledge that they tried to do something differently by setting the show in an agricultural school, which basically means our characters tend to crops instead of filling out tests. Other than that, well, you pr…

For a Rom-Com genre type, it didn't have much impact on the romance side. It did however have a great comedic side. Unfortunately, the story did not progress so much especially the ending. So it did left a bitter taste. The anime definitely have no problem in its comedic side. Every episode can make you laugh. It has a unique story and as much as the art and sound its average. A good Anime for me has high qualities in the climax and ending. However, the Nourin is a cliffhanger in the progression of the plot. -STORY- It certainly is unique and intriguing but progresses really slow, also concerning Romance.

This one gets a quick review because there isn't a ton to say. Not a whole lot happens, characters do not develop much at all and the story ends without accomplishing anything. One thing I will say that made this above an average anime was that it was funny. If you ever wanted to hear a TON of sexual jokes centered around farming and see a kawaii teacher who can't find a man hit on her students and ooze desperation and negative energy you will enjoy it. The best episode is the one where he talks about it being just another average day and it is all sorts of crazy stuff that happens that makes me die laughing. It isn't bad for a comedy but the other elements are sorely lacking and the tropes are too strong. Story 5/10 Art 8/10 Sound 7/10 Character 5/10 Enjoyment 6/10 Overall 6/10

When I planned to watch Nourin, I thought "Its a 12 episode laid back kinda anime like D-frag or Maken-ki that I can watch and not get to stressed over" and I was right. Except in this anime I actually liked the characters, and connected to them faster than I would in say Maken-ki or any other type of that anime. Also didn't have as much fan service than your typical harem/echhi anime. Still has some but most of the time they use it for funny moments, not just for the hell of it, they have fanservise for all boys and girls and Cows! - GOOD THINGS ·The show had an awesome/different setting that I surprisingly liked (Agriculture). ·The setting and the characters were the main part I enjoyed it the most, it had some hilarious seens, and I thought there school/home was pretty freakin awesome.…
