My first harem anime! Its not deep by any means but if you just want an entertaining ecchi comedy with great character design, then look no further! Notoriously, the anime is an inferior adaptation of the source manga, however I still find this entertaining when viewed in a vacuum and not taken too seriously.
Every second of the anime is exploited for fan service, no opportunity is wasted. The camera always gets the best view (constant panty shots), so it almost feels like the girls are in swimsuits rather than skirts. Various fetishes are worked into the plot whenever it is possible or convenient to do so.
The type of harem featured in this anime is one where the girls are pitted against each other for the MC's (Tsukune's) heart. He mostly has a thing for the main girl (Moka) but the p…

Last time I watched this was around 2017 and it had a score of 7.12, but now in 2024 it has dropped to 6.74.
I think this is normal because after I rewatched this anime it was so boring!
Maybe the only good thing about this anime is its beautiful characters, especially Kurono Kurumu, there are songs for each character too, but that's all that's good about this anime.
The first flaw in the male MC is that he is too geeky, just from his appearance and voice it is clear that this is a geeky MC who often appears in harem anime.
There are also some scenes that are quite annoying from this MC, such as him feeling useless because he is always helped by his female friends, yes basically the MC here is really too weak, so that you cannot protect yourself, let alone other.
Second, the storyline a…

Rosario to vampire, is an anime and manga series written by Akihisa Ikeda; which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2004 or 2006 I think, an anime adaptation was made by studio Gonzo, in 2008, but how can I say the manga adaptation was fucking ruined by the TV series. And the analysis will cover both seasons of this shit.
First I want to talk about the protagonist Tsukune Aono, who in the manga is awesome and in the anime is a jerk. This shit simply has no charisma, no backstory that's worth it, it's not trash, but in terms of charisma he's far from being a Shiba Tatsuya by Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei , or a Natsu from Fairy Tail if you try too hard, I find the character too irritating. Now talking about Kurumu Kurono, I think she is simply the best character in the anime, mostly bec…

This review covers the first and second seasons of the Rosario+Vampire anime adaptations (second season is titled "Rosario+Vampire Capu2").
Rosario+Vampire is certainly an interesting anime in that it has a good premise and interesting characters and locations, however it is really bogged down by the 2000's fan service bug that was in nearly every romance (especially harem) series at the time.
Personally, this was one of the first anime series I watched in romance genre and I have a lot of nostalgia for it. I do really enjoy this anime and it's characters, however trying to put that aside, it is very flawed in many ways that keep it from being a notable romance series.
Things it gets wrong:
- Deviates heavily from the manga, which is more serious and more inclined towards shounen than…

Rosario + Vampire is a very entertaining, cute, and at times comedic harem/romance anime. Unlike with most shows in this genre, the male protagonist has a rather commendable and likeable character, through his dedicated and loyal love towards his girlfriend and friends, resilient nature, and motivation to protect those he cares for. I like the show's themes of acceptance and friendship/love beating human or "monster" vices such as greed for power, bigotry, lust, etc. To me the show is representative of the inner "monster" in people that can be overcome by good. That said, every episode in this series has a very similar formula. It may make the show very predictable at times, but ultimately it works well for the story line it strives to portray. I also absolutely adored the characters and t…

Rosario to Vampire
A classic anime that somehow really feels the originality of the story even though the plot is not much different from other harem animes. This anime is interesting to watch because it feels like the story that is presented is not boring and can still be enjoyed.
Talking about the story, like an ordinary school boy where he has to be able to solve the problems that will await him and make new friends, for some reason the majority are all girls. Because in reality it's not as easy as shown hahahahaaahaa. The story is packaged in a structured manner and is not very complicated so that you don't need to use a lot of brain cells to watch it because you can enjoy it as the story progresses without going back and forth. There isn't much that can be highlighted from the charac…

I do not often say this about anime especially anime that restructure the storyline of the original manga and adds filler, but Rosario to Vampire's anime is superior. The anime covers all of the essential story, introduces all of the characters quicker, adds more fanservice/ecchi, and has a much more balanced harem aspect. They even added musical numbers. The action is also an improvement, though there still is not a lot of it. The addition of the bat, that provides commentary throughout the series including how long the fight of the week took was pretty funny.
If ecchi is a deal-breaker for you, you will not enjoy this anime.

It got real serious there at the end huh. As I continue my two guilty pleasures genres of Japanese fiction, crappy harems and vampires, this was a pretty good mix. After having read Actually I Am, this was almost the complete opposite plotline with a lot of the same tropes. Rosario to Vampire puts an interesting spin on the monster genre by making its main character the only human at a school full of monsters. While a lot of the motifs are cheesy, poorly written, and a bit pandering, the comedy of it all works together. The relationships that build are well thought out, the main characters aren't one sided, and interactions feel real at times.
Overall, I enjoyed the raunchy first season of Rosario to Vampire more than I expected and wiill update upon the second seasons completion.

This was the first anime I've ever watched so it's very nostalgic to me and it was hard rating it so low but I tried to rate it as if I didn't have a connection to it
I really love the whole concept of a human going to school with a bunch of monsters and changing everyone's view on humans but that idea could've been done much better as a regular anime than an ecchi haram one (just imo)
The art style is absolutely GORGEOUS in both the manga AND the anime, it's easy to tell who everyone is
All the characters have different personalities and voices so each and every one of them are special even the bad guys
Even if you don't like ecchi animes I think you'll like this one just on the concept and art style alone

I watched this relatively early on during my first proper exploration of anime [some time between 2008 and 2012?], before I had a handle on different genres. This may actually have been the first ecchi and harem anime that I ever watched, and like virtually all anime in those genres, it was fucking garbage.
Postscript: This website won't allow me to post this review until I add "more information" and offers several cues to that effect, so allow me to elaborate upon my above-outlined thesis:
"Is the story unique?"
The story was shit.
"Do you think the art style is fitting for the story?"
The art was mediocre.
"Were the characters well-rounded?"
The characters were shit.
"Did the characters react to situations and events in a realistic way?"
The characters were shit.
"Do you think othe…

Honestly I wasn't thrilled with this series as an anime. I did enjoy the Manga.
It felt like they spent 1/4 of each episode doing a transformation scene, that was usually done between frames of the manga. They dumbed down a lot of the character interaction for laughs, removed the stakes and treated the watchers as idiots.
The score was good to start with but so repetitive it got annoying. Especially for that said transformation scene. They could have done it once in full, then done a 5 second snippet to suggest what happened and used that screen time to do something meaningful.

My first short anime, and.. ecchi too,
Well, about the anime, is not bad, but considering manga this was not best way to a adaptation.
I watched in 2013 after ramna 1/2, it was a very new experience too me, because of that i think my review will be soo much influenced.
> Has nice graphics
> Nice characters
> Makes you feel more and more desire to watch
Is about a student, Tsukune, who father steals from a priest/monk, a misterious school invitation. So he send his son to that school and things don't go well (or do lol), because arriving there will be showing fantasy creatures, of course, his harem too. Vampires, sucubbus, witches etc.
Moka, main love of protagonist, has a bipolar personality what il be explained in episode 1 (for more acurasse i ill ignore manga stuff about that in the…

It was hard for me to finish this season as once you get into a few episodes you will notice a pattern of how each episodes begins and finishes immediately.
This season is extremely episodic until the ending when an arch actually appears. Each episode also follows a very distinct pattern with how it begins, proceeds, and concludes that it is so repetitive you will not be surprised ever at the so called story. It is also so disappointing what they do with the enemies after defeating them. For the most they are just accepted as normal side characters even after doing some messed up things.
It also really has problems meshing multiple genres together into a single scene. There is a lot of ecchi that is thrown into what you would assume is a serious fight while also cracking jokes it is so…

Here we go again, Another Trouble setup for MC which looks so obvious that it makes our MC such a misfortune person, yes trouble always comes and find MC of this anime or if not than our MC is so generous that "so what if trouble is not coming for me, i am generous enough to go find it my self". Another MC spotted who on purpose like to take a flying arrow in his a** xD. Well yeah in most of the anime its obvious to help your friends but what is this for example in episode 7, in which he meets "Shirayuki, Mizure" for the first time, he doesn't even know much about her and she expect from him to believe in her but what, MC doesn't even know what happened, what he should believe in ??
And man is this some kind of game that a quest is going on and we are playing a…

THIS SHOW IS JUST YOUR AVERAGE HAREM SHOW EXCEPT THE CHARACTERS ARE ALL SOME KIND OF MONSTER...
I've been watching anime for a long time but I believe this was the first harem ecchi show I watched I remember it was on netflix and that's when I realized I was a simp for these anime hoes and thats when I started watching many similar shows after. There's nothing really that stands out about the show I watched it years ago and I only vaguely remember the plot so I know the story wasn't that memorable but I remember enjoying watching it so if your bored and you like harem shows this is a decent one to watch.
I've been using this site for a long time but this is my first review I just thought I should write one on this anime first since it was one of the first harem shows I watched and it g…

I read about this anime sometime ago, but only now did I decide to give it a chance. After watching some many other harem anime like Date A Live, Sekirei and Highschool DxD, how does Rosario to Vampire stack up? Well, let's hop on and find out, shall we?
Story
Our protagonist, Tsukune, accidentally enrolls into an academy for monsters and has to hide the fact that he's human lest he will be expellled or killed. This particular plotline is only brought up in the last few episodes of the season, and for the most part, it's just treated as a minor inconvenience.
As for the harem aspect, well, it's not actually that bad. The interactions between the protagonist and his harem ladies are all fun and entertaining, but they aren't something I have seen before and much better in other anime.

This was the first anime I ever watched, back when I got my first ever online sub service, a netflix account.
I'd never actually watched an anime in order and all at once before. It was a game- changer for me, and I binged the whole thing day 1. Haven't really seen it since.
From what I remember, the show itself wasn't terrible, but there were very obvious and mind- numbing patterns that happened in almost every episode, but other than that it wasn't bad. This really set the stage for a very mediocre ecchi comedy, and it's kinda what I set my anime standards according to, or at least used to.
The characters have some depth, but it's shallow. The story could be pretty great, but it's just.. bland. The ecchi isn't really even there, just a panty shot at the end and a few glimpses of bounc…

Rosario + Vampire the adaption anime from manga . I did'nt read the manga yet. So, I just conclude what I get from this series.
Literally, this is romcom anime that give vibes ecchi, ara- ara vibes and fan services to the watchers.
Sound + music = 7/10 ( have differents song in every episode). If you like music, you can watch it.
Character= 6/10 (because of ecchi and didn't make me feel when I can end this series more faster
Storyline= 5/10 ( You can predict what happens in this series)
The studio needs to give more episode or upgrade the character of Mc Aono Tsukune and show what happens to FMC, Why she has 2 characters although it in the same body and different characters.
The side character in Monster Gakuen like succubus, witch and ice monster is good for starter. Goonna keep it u…

The amount of positive reviews on this anime is insane. This is easily the worst anime i've ever watched and i sat through it all just to make sure it definitely is. It's just another generic slice of life harem anime that takes place in a school setting with boring 1 dimensional characters and ESPECIALLY useless female characters that just are there for fanservice and that basically is what this anime is about. Its basically a really toned down and soft core version of hentai. Heck, I'd seen hentai with much better plot, story, depth to the characters than this piece of garbage. This anime is so bad that it's actually kind of funny. It's just that laughably bad and boring. If you're planning on watching this, dont, just read the manga. The anime adaptation just ruins an already pretty bad…

Today I'm going to be reviewing Rosario Vampire, an anime that for about a year was my all time favorite anime, but now thats clearly not the case anymore. If you've already seen the series I'm sure you're most likely confused by my score but there's a reason for that which I'll obviously get to. I want to get this out quick and just say that Vampire isn't some sort of hidden gem or underrated classic, so if you were expecting me to go into detail explaining that then I'm sorry to disappoint you. The manga is genuinely great however, and I would recommend that to a lot more people then I wou…
