Strongest exorcist isn’t slop. It isn’t even less than slop. It’s whatever is below that. Every. Single. Thing. About this anime doesn’t matter. Not the previous life. Not the side characters. Not the enemies. Not the stakes. Not the romance. All of it is trivial, and never matters.
You see a bad guy? No you don’t. He’s gone. You like that romance? Well we forgot that we had that. This persons super strong? That doesn’t matter anymore, and we forget. You want to see an epic fight? No you don’t. It’s over.
So what does it have…? Do you like an annoying side character that you forget the name of immediately that spends the entire anime complaining for no reason just to be told to shut up and get wiped from the writing? Well we have that. Do you like interesting enemies that have 7 seconds…

This was the BEST anime that came out that year, and genuinely just a good anime even if you take the isekai element completely out of it.
You have a really strong guy who died in another world and got reincarnated into another one. But this isn’t somebody from the modern world getting transported into the past. Instead, you have someone from a mystical world, somewhat reminiscent of ancient Japan or ancient China, who was a powerful magician, died, and then gets reincarnated into a medieval-type world.
That’s a pretty interesting premise because you’re essentially going from one fantasy world to another rather than doing the same modern-day-to-medieval-world setup that isekai uses over and over again.
Another thing I really like is that the main character already has his powers and abi…

As the title suggests it's a reincarnation but I still dislike the part where they keep their memories, I really hate that part of fantasy but I guess that'll be it.
Art is about the same as most other fantasy shows.
The combination of the Japanese Exorcist plus Ayakashi and the Western Magic world seems like a cool combination.
It might start slow but it grows on you.
It really seems like the word "cunning" fits right in, there's so many interesting aspects to it and lots of funny and endearing moments.
The ending was bit unexpected, it's quite an unusual story.

I absolutely loved this anime and enjoyed every episode from start to finish. It offers a refreshing take on the isekai genre by focusing not only on action but also on strategy, politics, and character development. The main character is one of the best parts of the series—he is calm, intelligent, and incredibly powerful, yet he doesn’t constantly seek attention or act arrogantly. Instead, he carefully plans his moves and uses his knowledge and abilities in clever ways, which makes him much more interesting than the typical overpowered protagonist.
The magic system is unique and exciting, especially because it revolves around exorcism and spiritual techniques rather than ordinary fantasy magic. The world-building is also well done, introducing different kingdoms, noble families, and inter…

In all honesty, I have very mixed feelings about this anime.
each episode i felt its like a bit of rush I think it may be because I wanted to see more of it, and know it likely wont recieve any more episodes, or the fact that the priestess/princess lady maneuvered the MC which made him change his entire stance on what he was doing. He lived that way for years and years, and there was only one line where he questioned if he was being cowardly an episode or two ago, the fact that also the princess on the last episode just spoiled the whole thing for the MC like was this rushed i dont know but need to like know by reading the manga since im still confused and so many question on this anime

This particular isekai would hardly ever light the world on fire with its brilliance, but it's still quite fun and a solid step up from the shows that have near-zero ambition such as I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! This show has many of the tropes of typical isekai, but it dresses them up just enough to feel somewhat fresh.
The premise is that the protagonist was killed in his previous world for standing out too much with his power, so he's redoing his life while trying to only be the second-best person around (while retaining his OP original powers, of course). He tries to help his friends from the shadows while hiding behind the Hero which is a fun gimmick that I particularly enjoy.
I'd rate the cast of female characters as "decent". They'r…

This anime was overall fine, it was certainty not the best but also far form the worst. I do not know what the source material was like but it defiantly struggled with pacing but that is the worst I can say about it considering I have not read the source material. Do I believe that it would have been better with 24 episodes and split the focus between the the main cast, the demons and (maybe) the princesses maneuvering, yes. If it had done that it could have been an interesting story of political intrigue. Instead its plot was watered down by a (half-hearted) power fantasy for Seika. That's not to say that it doesn't have some things that some would enjoy. I personally did like that it offered similar tones too Villainess Level 99, and if you enjoyed that but thought it had to much (not ne…

TL:DR 1 out of 10, if you've seen the meme of the bunny girl getting vored, then you've seen all this generic, by the numbers, cookie cutter isekai has to offer.
The long version, though this garbage really doesn't deserve it. Generic looking Isekai protag #753641 gets merc'd in his own world for being too OP, then gets reincarnated into a new world with all his powers. No stakes, no tension, no learning anything important along the way. Every fight ends with the exact same @$-pull OP nonsense with the littlest semblance of a plot.
The rest of the cast may as well be window dressing, even the h3nt@i artists don't care about these nothing burgers. You'll forget their names by episode 3 and know them only by the bland ahh archetypes they fulfill.... poorly.
The music is nothing to writ…

This is an anime about a powerful Japanese exorcist who is killed due to people fearing his powers, and reincarnated in a new world as Seika Lamprogue, the son of a noble. He still has his memories and powers from his original world, but he doesn’t want to stand out and end up targeted again, so he does his best to lay low. The majority of the anime involves him attending a magic academy where he and his friends get pulled into various conflicts that require him to use his true powers to resolve, though he does so secretly without anyone catching on.
This is an overpowered protagonist isekai, though it has a couple unique aspects going for it. The first would be the context of how the protagonist is overpowered. He’s using abilities and summoning monsters rooted in Japanese fantasy, while…

“If you don’t have anything else to watch, this might be a decent way to pass the time.”
That’s probably the best way to sum up this anime. It doesn’t bring anything particularly new to the table and ends up being a fairly generic take on the isekai genre. The main character is extremely overpowered, yet tries to avoid drawing attention—something we've seen plenty of times before.
That said, I appreciated that the protagonist isn’t portrayed as spineless or timid. His backstory as the strongest exorcist in his previous life adds a bit of depth and is a nice touch instead of him being a weakling and suddenly becoming overpowered.
I haven’t seen many exorcist-themed anime, so I can’t say how well this one stacks up in that subgenre. However, I did enjoy the show overall. The use of “Shiki…

This best represents the reincarnation of the most powerful exorcist since his entry into another world. It is a typical ISEKAI anime with a hint of Japanese mythology, action and fantasy, and there were a total of 13 episodes, which I consumed in a single day, and even though it touches on the most common trait of an overpowered protagonist, it does well to be entertaining. This drama involves Seika Lamprogue, the reincarnated exorcist, who ends up within a magical world where he uses all that he knows and can bring powerful abilities to overshadow the rest in sheer ease. Fans of series like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or Wise Man's Grandchild will find similarities here.
The anime features awesome action sequences, light comedy, and a bit of romance, but nothing groundbreaki…

Before I started watching this show, I read several reviews about how bad it was. But I still persisted on watching it because I liked the plot and the whole Exorcist in Magic world thing. But that was a grave mistake. I should have listened to the reviewers.
Pro
+Good art and animation
+Decent Romance (with the yellow haired Slave)
Con
-Extremely bad plot development
-Extremely bad world building and magic system
-One of the worst climax I had witnessed Now, this review is mostly just my ranting rather than a proper review. I just finished the show and I just couldn't hold back myself from criticizing it. It's probably because I went against the public opinion to watch this series because I liked the settings. But was disappointed in the end. I'll try my best to avoid major spoilers (Bu…

The unoriginal and emotionless Isekai, by definition, is starting to seriously wear me out with these works that bring nothing to the industry. This entire piece is overdone and repetitive. The only thing that sets it apart is the past of Seika, its main character, but this aspect is underdeveloped in the plot, even though it was, for me, the only idea with potential in this work. They didn't even bother to play on this and make it an important element in the plot and story... Speaking of the plot of this anime, let's talk about it:
There, I'm done. Nothing more to say about the plot of this anime. Like any good trash Isekai, there's no long-term plot, no specific goal or real objective. We simply follow the main character going from place to place without really knowing why in the end.…

Hi guys! I have never written a review on any of the animes I've watched. But, I have to write about this thing because I do not want anyone to see this idiotic piece of trash. The beginning was well and good. But as the story progressed, it became more and more senseless. I am here after watching the 8th episode. It was the worst ever episode of any anime I have watched till now. The MC is idiotic and has no basic sense at all. It feels like watching a toddler trying to solve algebra problems. He is a reincarnate but still has no IQ at all. Another major problem is story is boring and has no progress at all. A whole season is just wasted trying to do nonsensical work. On the outside, it may look like OP MC is enough for us to watch this anime, but on the inside, even OP MC could not save…

The typical anime "a guy died as X and reincarnated in a new world as Y". However, this piece is trying to bring something new and some good ideas into this genre.
Entire story is built on top of the strongest exorcist who is using his skills instead of magic in a magic world where he got reincarnated. Trying to play lowly side character and hide his powers, he isn't always able to do so and creating some OP-like situations.
Story is giving some good ideas regarding main characters or even about world itself. Character development is something that you can bump into in almost every episode and it's satisfying.
BUT... I really have issue with how chaotic and different is last 1/3rd of the anime. Things are just getting chaotic, some characters are put completely into background, differen…

An anime with a lot of potential
Plot: 6/10
Mc was an ultra powerfull excorcist that got killed in his hunt for power after getting jumped by everybody so he got reincarnated in another world as a noble and his goal is to live a peacefull life but we all know if he had succeded there wouldn't be an anime, after some events he joins the academy, becomes friends with the hero and has to constantly protect her from demon and human assasins. I don't want to spoil anything else but the story showed a lot of promise and if it ever gets a season 2 you shouldn't miss it.
Animation: 7/10
The animation is very good and the character designs are alr
Characters: 6/10

Overall it was ok, but it felt disjointed. I did not get the point of going to school if the MC is going to be out and about solving mysteries and problems. The school part makes no sense if they are not actually attending school, then they keep introducing characters left and right, so it makes the story even more convoluted and all over the place!!!! Maybe the writer suffers from ADD and in the middle of writing he saw a "squirrel" and lost the train of thoughts in between. These stories need to be more focused...I know it is just anime, but still there is no reason to put trash out there when the story could have been good since the actual main idea was kinda great. Sadly, I don't think I will be watching the sequel, if any. Hope you enjoy it more than I did!

I see that the One Punch Man shpiel has become hugely popular lately. Truth be told, it’s just about the only way to give a true overdog protagonist any kind of meaningful conflict. I am, of course, referring to the trope of having an overdog protagonist pose as an underdog – for whatever reason, whether by accident or design, theirs or someone else’s, the larger cast of the story does not recognize them for how powerful/competent/talented they really are.
In this particular case, the conceit is that in his previous life, our MC has become the most powerful Japanese exorcist, called and onmyouji, in history. He believed that if he obtained overwhelming power, nothing would be able to threaten him anymore, and as a result, he could live a peaceful and happy life without having to lose anyt…

This is a standout anime that is an immersive and enjoyable viewing experience. From the very first episode, the series introduces us to an intriguing premise: a skilled exorcist, reborn in a parallel world and it takes us on an exhilarating journey filled with mystical adventures.
One of the anime's strongest aspects is its well-crafted storyline. The narrative unfolds with a perfect balance of mystery and revelation, which kept me hooked. The creative exploration of the supernatural elements adds depth to the plot, making it more than just a typical isekai adventure.
Visually, the animation of this anime is stunningly detailed, landscapes and meticulously designed characters contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal.
Character development is another noteworthy aspect of the anime. Th…

English: When I watched this anime I thought it would be totally generic, with a "hero" and "demon king", but it honestly caught my attention for running away from the "standard" good or egocentric king, the proper king not knowing of its existence makes things more curious
The anime features a lot of "Time-skip" that pleases me even, because it does not give the feeling of bad unfolding of the story
I feel like a sequel with more to explore the past is a good one
But besides that there is not much to stand out, besides the protagonist being good, my note for the anime is: 7/10
PT-BR: Quando assisti esse anime pensei que seria totalmente genrico, com um "heroi" e "rei demonio", mas sinceramente me chamou atenção por fu…
