if you like sonico then watch it, if you dont, then there is no point in watching it
i LOVE sonico, but id much rather play the visual novel then this (my bias for visual novels is showing here)
its a cute slice of life, nice background anime to watch, its relaxing
negative points for super taruco not even existing (w nitroplus for forgetting tarucos existence for the bajillionth time)
pochaco exists but ehh i wish she was more prevalent
overall sonico is cute, i like slice of life shows but its just really empty, still wholesome and fun, suzu is cute, i liked the axanael visual novel (fuuri and suzus debut visual novel, if you like them i'd recon you give that vn a try)

5/10. its disappointing because i love super Sonico, but this anime is just.. not it..
I mean, the story isnt bad it was just honestly boring. to me it felt a lil bit of the same episode over and over again.
This gets pity points. only because the artstyle is cute, and its super sonico. the artstyle is well.. just the regular artstyle for sonico (obviously not complaining!). So atleast its not ugly.
other super sonico fans would (probably) like this but its just not as good as it could of been,,
also theres no super puchaco . which is devastating but , hey! at least we get more characters..

💖✨ I watched this anime years ago when I was just getting into anime. It's been a while, but I remember it being one of my early ones. 🌸
💖✨ I was excited to see Super Sonico in action, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The girls were cute and entertaining, but everything else was just okay. The story was forgettable, the art was average, and the characters, while enjoyable, weren't anything special. 🎀
💖✨ The show is short, with about twelve episodes, and it's pretty brisk-paced. It's more about Sonico's day-to-day life than any overarching plot. 🌟
💖✨ Overall, I'd give it a 5/10. It wasn't great, but I still enjoyed it for what it was, especially as one of my early anime experiences. 🌸

Super Sonico is the mascot for Nitro +, a videogame company. The series details her day-to-day life as a model, college student and budding guitarist. Sonico loves gaming, anime and all things cute and she loves music. She’s a narcoleptic due to her hectic schedule.
The show is animated by White Fox, however, this animation lacks the quality of Steins Gate. The CGI looked very awkward especially in the concert scenes. The character designs were very good and complimented by the myriad art styles.
I should mention this show has a lot of fanservice every few seconds which make sense given the nature of the character and franchise.
The dialogue was childish and stories bland and uninteresting. There really isn’t any main story to speak off since its pretty much plotless and just about So…

Yeah, this one was pretty alright I mean the girls were cute and just generally entertaining so that was good I guess everything else was just kinda meh. The story was pretty forgettable nothing great there. Art was fine it didn't really blow me away or anything but I didn't hate it id say overall it was below average tho. The sound was fine nothing really to say about that. Lastly characters I mean like I said before they were enjoyable and cute so not really complaining about them but I wouldn't really call them good characters but still, I overall liked them. In terms of overall quality, id say this show is like a 4 just doesn't really bring a lot. Likes it's enjoyable for what it is but I don't really think this is like a good show. In terms of me liking this id give it a 5 just becaus…

So uuuuh This was obviously meant to sell the girls with big boobs but uuuuuuh its surprisingly not fan service heavy which is already crazy. The characters actually are actually trying to be something. It's just really funny and odd to me that this wasnt bad? Like it has surprisingly wholesome moments. Its just more funny than anything. as anime its more than whatever and i like then manager. and uuuh they did not need to make the opening theme for this anime go so damn hard i unironically really like the theme and the full version is way better. What the hell is this anime.

Before sitting down to watch this series, I can't say that I really knew Sonico as a character. Based on her design and the numerous crossovers that she cosplayed, from other franchises (see the insane amount of merchandise that has been sold with her likeness), I used to think that she was just an "oppai" character — whose only gimmick is that a) she has pink-hair and headphones, and b) is very voluptuous. After watching the adaptation of the visual novel's story, I learned that I was completely wrong about her!

—Story/Characters
The series starts off with Sonico going to a sultry photo shoot, not only that, but one of her best friends (Suzu) constantly wants to dress her up in lewd outfits. When this series was first airing, six years ago, I orig…

As a big fan of Sonico myself, this anime is great for me. It's a relaxing slice of life story/music anime centered around our beautiful shy girl, Super Sonico. At first glance, people would think she's just a mascot with no personality just there to look pretty and provocative or simply just "B00BS" but that’s not the case. You get to see Sonico's character shine in this anime which is that she is a huge cat lover, loves rock, is a big nerdo, and works hard for her band, her grandmother's restaurant, and anything ! She is as sweet and she is as cute.
There really isn’t much of story going on, it’s basically just Sonico chasing her dreams in music and simply enjoying the wonders of life. One episode I really enjoyed is episode 7, which is titled, Star Rain. That episode is just the defin…

Im not good at writing reviews because usually i have not much to say about the shows i watch and...i just like it or don't...sometimes i love a show and i just don't know why...!!!!!!!!!
But in these case i feel the need to write something because ironically the show leave me speechless XD , not in a good way :( ...sorry for all the fans out there!<3
Can you Please explain to me which is the plot of these anime -.-*....
Ive watched the hole show,and....it has no history....i mean you can call it just a slice of live show...but still,it needs more intrique.
Why i watched it?Iven thought the story is so blank?
Because of the characters!!!!!<3<3<3 Just look at them ( ) ) DANG!!!!!!
They are all nice and sweet!
Easy to love them. And the Atmosphere of the show....is so warm and relaxing!!!!…

This is my first review so....sorry if its bad.
One day i was browsing crunchyroll and I happen to stumble on this anime. One thing I noticed about this anime was that you really don't have to think about the story (if there even is one). In my opine this anime was made to be a fan service based anime. Now I have nothing wrong with a little fan service because I highly enjoyed No Game No Life. But feel like Super Sonico anime was just made to be a fan sevice anime with really not that much story.
One thing I do like about this anime is the art. It is just so clean and lively. And the characters where believable.
Over all I would enjoyed it a little more if it maybe had a little more story to it and had some character development.
thank you for reading my review!

so this will be the first anime that has a 23 or 24 min length in terms of episode that i have giving a bad rating too otherwise lets get into it
Story: there is not story in super sonico at all its just a bunch of varied episode where sonico goes too different places for photo shoots and does other stuff like going on a cruise ship and also celebrating Christmas and such nothing with the story at al
Art: i thought the art was actually very good with how they made some parts 3d thought it was neat
Sound: now i watched the dub for this and anyone who knows me knows that i hate Jessica nigri with a passion but shes actually did a decent job with the dub otherwise everyone else was good
Character: So Super Sonico is your go happy lucky girl who is in college and also has a band and also t…

Do you like bimbos? Do you like big diddies, ass and loadsa clumsy? Then this is the anime for you! Nothing but simpleminded fan service for simpletons.
I litterly can't understand the appeal this anime has as well as the whole Sonico franchise. I watched this when it aired and it pained me to finish this, BUT I WANTED TO. I wanted to see where the appeal is in the Sonico franchise. And well I figured it out, there is non whatsoever!
Story, yeah there is some. Interesting in anyway? No way. To summerize; It's just Sonico and her band "First Astronomical Velocity", whew that's a mouthful ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Trying to become anything else than H manga material. (Which this should've been in the first place!) If Sonico is not practicing with FAV she's either working grandma's restaurant or doing…

This is interesting. This is the first time I'll be really playing defense for something which most people here hate (you can argue SAO II but even that doesn't have such a low MAL score like 6.27). Nonetheless, this show deserves a little more credit than it gets. Not saying it's perfect or even all that great, heck I gave it a 7, which means it's in the decent-good range, but it's definitely not as bad as other shows with this unfortunate MAL score (like Blazblue Alter Memory which got the backlash it rightfully deserved). Now, why is that? Why is it that so few people care about this show, and why is it that I am willing to stick up for it? Well, let's find out, shall we?
STORY: 6/10

This anime is meant for fun, nothing else. You can watch an episode without watching previous episodes, or knowing previous lore. This anime is just for the fun of watching Sonico is her daily life. It is an awesome anime to watch if you don't want a heartfelt romance, or comedy. Each episode is fun, fresh and exciting to watch, even if you marathon them all.
Overall it is good, the story is usually very innocent, the art is wonderful, the sound is what you expect from a music based anime, the characters, though bland, are awesome in their own sense, and the enjoyment is an incredible 9/10 for me. I had fun watching this, and I recommend watching it if you do not want commitment, or want to follow each episode to find out what happens.
I watch many romantic comedies, and this is an anime…

Super Sonico is an interesting attempt at bringing some life to Nitroplus' mascot. For once, we find main characters that are beyond high school age (just barely), but does the show hold up on its own? As a relative outsider with bare-minimum exposure to the franchise, I have to say no. Super Sonico is simply a slice of life about a girl who goes out of her way to help others and happens to really like music. If you're looking for a show that has any semblance of plot progression or character development, I'd look elsewhere- this is purely fluff with the entertainment value coming primarily from the vaguely ecchi body proportions and costumes of the heroines.

The animation style is pretty up to date with good colorization and decent backgrounds; there are surprisingly ma…

Ever wondered what the mascot of Nitro+ Super Sonico's life was like? - Well this anime can show you just that. At first, Super Sonico was a mascot with her own band and sang great songs. She became pretty popular so it was decided that an anime should be based on her. We get to meet some of Sonicos good friends and see just what type of life Sonico has. Which Is actually a pretty busy one. There is a lot of fan service, as expected however the story is just a simple slice of life show with music.
Super Sonico, pretty well known for her curvy curves, in which she becomes a model in the anime. As well as that, she's a collage student, performs in a band, and is always willing to help someone. They really do create a perfect character for Super Sonico. There is really nothing bitter about…

SoniAni: Super Sonico the Animation is a music, slice of life anime co-created by Nitroplus (the creators of Super Sonico) and White Fox (the creators of the anime); the anime has 12 episodes and aired between January and March 2014.
Plot
It is important to note that SoniAni: Super Sonico the Animation was designed as a marketing tool for Nitroplus to sell Super Sonico brand to people. Each episode we see a new day of Sonico’s life; she gets into different situations and different trials. It is an open secret that all slice-of-life shows don’t have a complex story;yet, it helps you to relax; that is why we watch SoL shows. In Sonico’s case, the show was sometimes boring; yet, it was a very funny experience for me.

When Super Sonico the Animation was on-air I didn't watch it because I though that the only thing it was going to talk about were, obvioulsy: boobs. And of course, the boobs are an important part of the anime, but now that I have watched it I realize that the anime talks about more interesting things (if possible). Leaving apart that Super Sonico is the most f*cking cute and polite girl in the world (which, from my point of view, it's the most atractive thing of the anime) she works as a model and she is not a super skinny girl like the 99.9% main character from other animes, which I find awesome, and when I think about being a model I always imagine that girls who think they are best than anyone... and that is so far from Sonico... she is really really humble and I love it... and I also l…

Before i started Super Sonico i thought this was going to be like K-On!! but replace the cute moe girls with busty, stupid girls, i was right about the stupid busty part and would like to apologize to K-On!! fans for trying to compare this to that Anime.
The Anime is about Sonico, who wants to be a popular Super Model but then she also wants to be a Professional Guitarist in a band. She is shy and awkward and R-E-A-L-L-Y stupid its annoying and her breasts have the ability to defy-gravity.
Her two friends in her band are Suzu Fujimi, she plays the Bass Guitar and besides playing music with the band you pretty much see her drop kicking people in the face... and Fuuri Watanuki, she plays the drums, even more stupid..er.. than Sonico and thinks of nothing other than food.

Sometimes boring. Sometimes skeezy. Sometimes stupid. A lot of terrible jokes. I enjoyed myself.
I like to watch trashy anime, and this series was perfect to chill out to before bed. I would smile and shake my head and say, "Ahh that crazy Sonico, her life is one big barrel of monkeys alright!" and then roll over and fall asleep.
If you know the titular character, you can easily guess what this series is going to be. The best aspect of the series is how Sonico can and does make friends with anybody she meets, and I was always made so very content by it. Essentially if you do not think the characters are even slightly endearing, you won't be able to watch with the same sense of bemusement I enjoyed it with.
Episode 7 was the standout of the series for me, in which Sonico wanders the countr…
